For the Glory KC is back with the 140th episode of the show!Sporting Kansas City returned home to a not very warm welcome from the Seattle Sounders. After getting out to a 3-0 lead in the first half, Sporting KC managed to claw their way back and nearly earn a point but ultimately fell 3-2.Kerry Zavagnin made some halftime adjustments, and his strikers went out and earned penalty kicks and drained their chances in the second half. It just wasn't enough to overcome the large deficit. However, during the second VAR review for a PK, Seattle's Nouhou seemingly lost his mind throwing a ball at a fan. That led to an exchange with the referee that will surely land him in further hot water.Outside of that, we break down many of the game's biggest moments, give our thoughts on the lineup and tactics and gush some more over Jansen Miller. Go watch his Behind the Shield. While the SKC game was going on, the KC Current were handling business in the first ever Teal Rising Cup. Despite rolling out a lineup of almost entirely backup players, KC handed Palmeiras a 3-0 loss to advance to the finals of the tournament. They will play Corinthians, who needed extra time to pull off a 1-0 win over the Chicago Stars. The Current game saw the returns of Lo LaBonta and Alex Pfeiffer from injury, and also, I stumbled around on the field at halftime "leading" Team Storm to a 2-0 victory in the media game over Team Heartland. In the Digital Crawl, we also touch on a few more topics, including:A new women's team in KC - KC AstrasUSMNT Gold Cup lossBenny Feilhaber updateHere is a rundown of topics and start times:Chad's Media Game Glory - 1:16Sporting KC come back down to Earth - 9:57SKC Round-up - 40:25KC Current dominate Palmeiras - 43:34Digital Crawl - 54:43Upcoming GamesKC Current vs. Corinthians - Tuesday, July 15th at 8:00PM CDT (ESPN+)SKC II vs. North Texas - Friday, July 18th at 7:30PMSporting KC vs. NYCFC - Saturday, July 19th at 7:30PMAs a special gift to For the Glory KC listeners and KC Soccer Journal readers, Backheeled dot com is giving away 30 days of their amazing, independent American soccer coverage for free. A winger heading out of the club today is Sosa, but who will Forest replace him with? Join FFTV Whatsapp Group: https://www.whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaUO5bODzgTARNhlWd1h The departure of winger Ramon Sosa to Palmeiras for a reported $14m (£11m) fee, as announced by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano! In this Forest Fan TV update, Wolfie dissects what Sosa's exit means for Nuno Espirito Santo's squad as they prepare for the Premier League and Europa Conference League. After a challenging first season at the City Ground, where the 25-year-old Paraguayan made 23 appearances but started only four, Sosa's move to Brazil follows his struggle for regular game time. With Sosa's exit confirmed, Wolfie dives into who could replace the versatile winger, with Forest already linked to exciting talents like Lyon's Malick Fofana and PSV's Johan Bakayoko. Fofana, a 20-year-old Belgian speedster, has a deal agreed with Lyon but is holding out for Champions League clubs, while Bakayoko's flair could fill the void left by Sosa's pace on the left flank. Wolfie analyses how these potential signings could fit into Nuno's system and maintain Forest's attacking dynamism! The transfer market is heating up with reports of a potential fire sale at Juventus, and Wolfie breaks down the players linked to Nottingham Forest, including Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz. Wolfie weighs the pros and cons of pursuing these Juventus talents, questioning whether they align with Forest's ambitions to build a squad capable of competing in Europe. With the transfer window in full swing, let us know in the comments which Juventus players you'd love to see in the Garibaldi Red and how Forest should navigate this busy market! Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. The 102nd episode of the show sees Danny breaking down Bayern Munich's heartbreaking loss in the FIFA Club World Cup to Paris Saint-Germain. The match was devastating for so many reasons, some bigger than football. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel for full coverage of the remainder of the CWC and all of the summer transfer news going forward. Bayern Munich lost a hard fought match to the best team in the world PSG by a final score of 2-0 to get eliminated from the FIFA CWC. Bayern & PSG truly put on one of the best matches of football we've seen in recent memory, two giants of the game going toe to toe at the highest of levels. All of this was unfortunately overshadowed by Jamal Musiala's gruesome injury from a reckless challenge by Paris keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The match was truly bizarre & fate was against the Bavarians. We saw multiple injuries to Bayern players, two offside goals, and a disallowed penalty. Danny breaks down the entire match from Vincent Kompany's lineup/tactics, to match highlights/lowlights, to scoring/injuries/cards, and individual player performances. Bayern's press was giving PSG all sorts of fits as the match began but no goals ended up sticking. Globally known as one of the poorest referees in the world. Anthony Taylor called no foul as Donnarumma snapped Musiala's ankle altering the trajectory of the game and Bayern Munich's entire upcoming season. PSG lost control of the match towards the end, earning two red cards for dangerous challenges involving studs to Leon Goretzka's leg and an elbow to Guerreiro's head. Josip Stanisic also suffered a hamstring injury and had to be subbed out. Before all was said and done Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele scored incredible goals and a handball in the box by PSG was awarded before Taylor inexplicably took it away. Bayern Munich is eliminated from the tournament. Chelsea's fortunates look great as they have a simple path to the CWC final. They beat Palmeiras 2-1 yesterday. Stay tuned for more soon on all of that! Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Drop us a comment with your thoughts! Thanks for listening/watching.
