It's a slightly somber show this week after the broadcast of the 'Girls in Green' documentary on Sunday. After a two year investigation by journalists Marie Crowe (RTE Investigates) and Mark Tighe (Sunday Independent), horrific allegations of inappropriate behaviour within the inaugural FAI Women's FAS course in Leixlip in the 1990's have been levelled at a number of coaches involved in that course.Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke share their thoughts on the documentary, the allegations and what it means for the future of the women's game and some of the steps now needed to ensure events like this can not happen again in the sport. There was also the small matter of some football played this week with big 1-0 wins for Bohemians and Cork City over Galway United and Peamount United respectively. Athlone stretched their lead at the top of the league while Shamrock Rovers continued their resurrence with a solid 3-1 win in Limerick. The focus turns to the WNT clashes with England and France and the U19 European Championships over the coming weeks. At home this weekend, DLR Waves host Treaty United and Bohemians visit Turner's Cross in what all camps will see as winnable games.

Well well well, another Dundalk loss means Jack is gone to ground again and hasn't been seen, however the show must go on. The lads discuss whether or not it's actually time to start calling Shelbourne serious title contenders, do they have it in them? Dave and James also begin to change their tune about Keith Long and his Waterford team, including James aiming his crosshairs at another League of Ireland manager. He also isn't a massive fan of Peamount United's nickname. Who thought a fella from Sligo could be filled with so much negativity? Despite Bill's best efforts to rebrand as the WWECast, Kerry FC still manages to unite the whole team on one topic and the love connection between the Peilcast and KFC continues, at least until one of their clubs undoubtedly gets dumped out of the FAI Cup by them. As always, the episode is rounded out by a preview of the upcoming Double Gameweek in the LOI, the fixtures are coming thick and fast so stick with us!

IP Telecom, the leading provider of cloud-based voice over internet protocol (VoIP) and unified communications telephony services to business customers across Ireland, today celebrates International Women's Day with a fundraising event in support of the Irish Homeless Street League. The Irish Homeless Street League is a volunteer-driven non-profit organisation that uses the power of sport to transform the lives of people who have found themselves affected by social exclusion. Today's event run by IP Telecom, in celebration of International Women's Day, will be dedicated to raising funds for the organisation and its work. Under the theme, 'Inspire Inclusion', the event will include attendance from charity CEO Christopher O Brien, and womens player Vanessa Lynch, who is due to speak on her experience with the charity. IP Telecom joins the likes of Colin Farrell in its support of the charity, which is currently fundraising towards supporting an Irish entry in this year's Homeless World Cup in Seoul, Korea. At the IHSL, there is a belief 'A Ball Can Change A Life'. Via nationwide leagues, the charity looks to create positive change by motivating, inspiring and developing people who have experienced homelessness, alcohol and substance abuse, or are ex-offenders, long-term unemployed and refugees, delivering positive social change throughout Ireland. Through strategic partnerships and dedicated efforts, the organisation aims to break down barriers and create opportunities for women to rebuild their lives. Many of the female participants have gone back to education, created a career for themselves and also gained a new perspective on life. Speaking at today's event, Shena Brien, CEO of IP Telecom, said: "This International Women's Day, we're not just celebrating - we want to take action. Empowerment and inclusion are core drivers of our business at IP Telecom, as we aim to create an environment that supports women - this ethos goes beyond supporting our own internal team, but how we inspire inclusivity on the outside. Today we're raising funds for the Irish Homeless Street League, which uses the transformative power of sport to create opportunities and instil hope across Ireland - this is a fantastic charity, and I would urge those who can to visit their website and find out more about the work they do." IHSL first launched its campaign to create a league for women In 2016; this started off as one league in Pearse St Dublin, has grown to three leagues nationally, with two in Dublin and further league in Limerick. The organisation's first women's team participated in the Homeless World Cup in Oslo 2017, and have continued to participate in many European tournaments. Most recently the team achieved 4th place at the Homeless World Cup which was held in Sacramento California 2023, the highest ranking ever by an Irish team in the tournament itself. The support of IHSL is not the first time IP Telecom has given encouragement to female sporting organisations. Since 2023 IP Telecom has been the proud lead sponsor of the Women Senior Team of current Women's League of Ireland champions - Peamount United. As the primary sponsor of Peamount United's Women Senior Team, IP Telecom eagerly aims to contribute to the team's success and growth, as well as nurturing the development of women's football within the club, and the country as a whole - empowering the next generation of talented women in sports, business, and technology. IP Telecom, led by CEO and co-founder Shena Brien was founded in 2010, and is based in Dublin West. The company, which offers a full suite of innovative, leading-edge business telephony services and solutions to over 4,000 business customers across a variety of sectors, holds a near 50:50 gender split in its staff. "Ensuring that our staff is balanced, inclusive and more representative of society as a whole is of great personal importance to me. We are committed to inspiring women in all walks of life - be that technology,...
