In this week’s episode, we are joined by Sam Saf, Jeremy’s Peyton to his Brooke and first-time One Tree Hill viewer! Sam gives us tons of AMAZING predictions for the series and we were so excited to talk about some of the things she was correct and incorrect about in the spoiler segment! Other topics include: the meaning of Brooke being referred to as “Tigger,” Haley’s ugly poncho, how Keith got drunk after one beer (?), Jeremy’s thoughts on Barry Corbin needing better material, whether Lucas survives a *shocking* car accident, and owning Chad Michael Murray posters as teens during our episode on S1E13, Hanging By A Moment!. Also, oops...we totally forgot to talk about the moment where Dan refers to Lucas as his “son.” But fear not, we talk about that in the next episode! Rebinging Star Trek DS9: The Storyteller Welcome to S1E13 The Storyteller. Julian and Miles head to Bajor on their first away mission together and it pretty much goes as you might expect. There is a lot of eye rolling involved (from Miles, of course). Meanwhile back on DS9, Jake and Nog are busy chasing after a girl involved in some serious business. The Storyteller In this episode, Miles tries to get out of a mission with Dr. Bashir. Unfortunately for him, his plan does not work and their inability to work together nearly leads to the destruction of a village. On the other hand, he is offered some free food and a couple of young girls for his troubles. No, I did not make that up! Jake, Nog and Varis in The Storyteller Back on the station, Sisko is trying to negotiate peace between two rival Bajoran factions. He and Kira are stunned to find one of the leaders is a teenage girl and while they struggle to make progress with her, Jake and Nog compete for her attention. What’s this rebinge thing? She's Gotta Have it has evolved into They Gotta Have It in S1E13; as we see the cast in this episode driven by primitive sexual instincts. Toni uses her Tracker-Jacker (shout out to Rue, Hunger Games) to track down her ex, Greg, for a love affair that will only end in heartache again. We see a different side of Toni that is willing to risk it all for the phallus! Yvonne and William are getting it on, and she informs the girls that William has great dic-ta-tion....which brings forth a question, do you share intimate details about your mate with your friend? Finally, our girl Joan is in love...but he's a sex addict. Margaret and I delve into the possibility of meeting and dating someone who has an addiction. Have you dated a partner with an addiction? What was your experience? What should women be wary of or should we never venture down this road. Well, the cases of Corona are increasing here in NOLA, so girl we know you're keeping your healthy self at home. Subconscious Sabotage….It sounds like something out of a spy movie and perhaps you may even think that you need not learn this lesson but in all honesty if you skip this lesson you run the risk of falling into this exact trap.So what am I talking about when I say subconscious sabotage? I am talking about the way our brains are programmed to work and how sometimes no matter how hard we try consciously to make things work – somehow we end up doing the complete opposite.Subconscious patterns can be positive or negativeOnce a pattern is in there the subconscious will look for proof that it is correct and it will reject anything that isn't in line with the subconscious belief. Thus this is how beliefs grow stronger and the saying that an old man is stuck in his ways could be truer than we think - and for good reason! What changes our subconscious patterns is our thoughts. If consistently think different thoughts to the programmed pattern the pattern will eventually change. What usually happens however is that the thoughts we are thinking are a result of the subconscious because we do not make it a practice to be aware of what we are thinking about and thus our reality reflects that.Be aware of your thoughts. If you catch yourself on a rant or talking or thinking about something you don’t want. Check yourself. And force yourself to re-word it. If its hard to reword into what you want, then you know that your subconscious is fighting you. You however are the boss, so whip it into line with some very conscious positive thoughts.www.michellemarsh.com.auinstagram / Facebook @happymemichelleFree Burnout Quiz https://michellemarsh.com.au/burnout-support/Free Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/purposebalanceburnout/Support the show (https://michellemarsh.com.au/michelle-marsh/join-our-community/)
