His laptop's hard drive had crashed, and he told his manager that he would be coming into their Bellevue, Washington office the following day to get it repaired. It was a routine plan. Nothing about the conversation raised any red flags. That night, surveillance camera footage from Jeremiah's apartment complex showed him pulling his car into the building's parking garage at 12:07 AM. He parked his car, and presumably went inside to his apartment. Eighteen-year-old Nolan Wells had just graduated from high school, signed to play college football, and spent Fourth of July weekend on Horn Island with friends. According to investigators, everyone returned to the mainland except Nolan. Two days later, his body was found on the island, launching an investigation that has drawn national attention and left his family searching for answers. As detectives worked to piece together Nolan's final hours, conflicting accounts emerged about what happened before he disappeared. A viral video shared by the Wells family's attorney has fuelled widespread speculation online, but investigators have not confirmed whether it is authentic or connected to Nolan's case. Questions also remain about Nolan's phone, the timeline of events, and what happened during his final hours. At the time of this video, authorities say they have found no evidence that a crime was committed and believe Nolan may have drowned, although the investigation remains active. Nolan's family has retained civil rights attorney Ben Crump, requested an independent autopsy, and continues to ask anyone who was on Horn Island that day to come forward with photos or videos that could help investigators. As this is an active and developing case, the information discussed in this video is based on publicly available statements from investigators, attorneys, family members, and news reports available at the time of recording. Some details remain disputed, and new information may emerge as the investigation continues. #TrueCrimeRecaps #NolanWells #HornIsland #Mississippi #Developing Learn more about your ad choices. Why didn't Jesus establish the Messianic Kingdom during His first coming? Why did He suddenly begin teaching in parables? And what do the four soils reveal about the condition of our hearts, spiritual maturity, rewards, and the Church Age? In this in-depth study of Matthew 13:1–23, Pastor Brandon Holthaus explains why Israel's rejection of the Messiah marked a major turning point in God's Kingdom Program. Discover how the Mystery Kingdom unfolds between Christ's first and second comings and why the Parable of the Sower is the foundational key to understanding all of Jesus' Kingdom parables. In this message you'll learn: • Why Jesus changed His teaching from plain speech to parables • The four different heart conditions represented by the soils • Why the first soil never germinates while the other three do • The difference between shallow, worldly, and fruitful believers • How Satan attempts to snatch away God's Word • The role of persecution, worldliness, and spiritual maturity • Why receptivity—not intelligence—is the issue • What Jesus meant by "understanding" • The significance of the 30-, 60-, and 100-fold harvest • How the Mystery Kingdom relates to the Seven Churches of Revelation • Why life often doesn't go according to our plans—and how God is still accomplishing His Kingdom purposes The Parable of the Sower reminds us that the power of God's Word never fails. The determining factor is not the quality of the seed, but the condition of the soil. Could the largest shark that ever lived still be swimming our oceans? Scientists say the megalodon disappeared approximately 3.6 million years ago. Yet for more than a century, experienced fishermen, sailors, explorers, and divers have reported seeing sharks so enormous they defied explanation. In this episode of Dark Outdoors, Chester Moore investigates the enduring legend of the megalodon. From Zane Grey's famous encounter in the South Pacific to Australia's mysterious giant shark reports, the legend of Baja's "Black Demon," and other intriguing eyewitness accounts, we separate documented history from maritime myth. But if these witnesses weren't seeing a living megalodon...what were they seeing? Chester explores the remarkable reality of giant great white sharks, including the legendary catches of Frank Mundus and the famous Deep Blue, along with whale sharks, basking sharks, and the surprising discovery of the megamouth shark—a species science didn't even know existed until 1976. Combining firsthand experience swimming with great white sharks, interviews with leading shark experts, and an investigative approach grounded in science, this episode examines one of the ocean's greatest mysteries while asking a deeper question: Why do stories of giant sharks refuse to disappear? Whether you're fascinated by sharks, cryptozoology, ocean mysteries, or the unexplained, this is an episode you won't want to miss. Topics Covered: Could megalodon still exist? Brett Forrest, The Lost Son: An American Family Trapped Inside the FBI's Secret Wars. This segment introduces the core of the mystery surrounding Billy Riley, a young man from Oxford, Michigan, who disappeared after traveling to Russia in May 2015. Billy is described as a product of the post-9/11 era whose life was fundamentally redirected by that event, leading him to develop a deep, self-taught expertise in global conflicts, religions, and foreign languages while operating from his parents' home as a "keyboard commando." His prolific internet activities eventually drew the attention of the Detroit FBI, who recruited him as a Confidential Human Source (CHS)—a type of freelance operative or "informant." The narrative highlights the tension between Billy's imaginative world and his physical reality; although he had not traveled widely, he was handling increasingly dangerous assignments for the FBI. One such assignment involved an online relationship with an individual in the Philippines suspected of being linked to Abu Sayyaf, an Islamic terror group allied with ISIS. Though Billy nearly traveled to Manila in December 2014 to meet this person, he backed out at the airport. However, by May 2015, he was determined to seek adventure in Russia, specifically heading toward the war-torn Donbas region of Ukraine. His parents, Terry and Bill Riley, were aware he worked for "the men"—his name for his FBI handlers—but Billy had become adept at being "coy," sharing just enough to intrigue them without keeping them fully informed. Notably, despite growing up in a traditional Catholic environment, Billy had converted to Islam through personal study, often reading the Quran in his Catholic school classes. The night before his fateful departure for Moscow, he met with his main FBI handler for dinner, a meeting shrouded in mystery that left his mother with a sense of parental intuition that something was wrong. In this episode we discuss a small placebo-controlled crossover study on melatonin and caffeine in trained young men, looking at sprint performance, sleep, and recovery markers. We go over the main findings, including improved performance with caffeine and better recovery measures with melatonin, while noting that the study did not show better sleep. We also cover the study's limitations, including the small sample size and the high supplement doses used, and explain why we generally prefer lower melatonin doses and focus on sleep habits first. Later, we talk about a long-term training goal combining heavy lifts and a sub-25-minute 5K, and finish with an update on training tracking and wearables. Why is a lecture on banking scheduled for the very first day of Mises University? Because, Jonathan Newman argues, banking is where money gets strange. Following Rothbard's Mystery of Banking, he separates the two things a bank can do—safekeeping your deposits and lending out savings—and shows that neither one expands the money supply. The trouble begins when a bank promises your deposit is available on demand while quietly lending most of it away.Recorded at the Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama, on July 20, 2025.Mises University is the world's leading instructional program in the Austrian School of economics, and is the essential training ground for economists who are looking beyond the mainstream.

Hour One of the Marc Cox Morning Show opens with Kim fresh off a Rush concert and a drive-by look at Chicago's much-mocked Obama Presidential Center, before pivoting to the Shortlist — AOC's tone-deaf Southern accent tour through Tennessee, Bill Maher souring on socialism, and Senator Mark Warner getting caught lying about the SAVE Act on live TV. Kim then breaks down Missouri's no-excuse early voting starting tomorrow and makes her case for Amendment 4 ahead of the August 4th election. Kim on a Whim takes direct aim at leftist podcasters trashing homeschool families, with Mark and Kim defending faith-driven parents and exposing why blue states lag behind red states like Tennessee and Montana in homeschool rates. The hour wraps with a developing story out of South City, where an upside-down flag at Firehouse 35 has gone viral — and Mark insists on getting the facts before assigning blame. Faith, family, freedom, and Missouri common sense — that's Hour One of the Marc Cox Morning Show. For decades, cabins around Maine's North Pond were burgled by someone who took food, books, and propane — and fixed the doors on his way out. Locals called him the North Pond Hermit, and plenty of them doubted he existed at all. Then, one April night in 2013, a silent alarm at a summer camp brought a game warden face to face with a man carrying stolen groceries and a secret almost too big to believe. What he told police that night launched one of the strangest criminal cases in Maine's history — and left an entire state arguing over what, exactly, he was guilty of. Julie and Kaycee unravel how he pulled it off, what it cost the people around that pond, and the one question the courts never fully answered. 00:44 Show Intro And Setup 01:06 Caught In The Kitchen 03:32 North Pond Burglar Legend 07:34 Pine Tree Camp Sting 10:14 Who Is Christopher Knight 12:43 Hidden Camp And Winter Routine 16:11 Survival By Burglary 20:00 Close Calls And Capture 21:44 Jail Fame And Finkel Interviews 23:57 Court Program And Sentencing 26:58 Stillness And Final Thoughts 30:36 Outro And Takeaway Listen AD FREE: Support our podcast at patreaon: http://patreon.com/TheCruxTrueSurvivalPodcast Email us! thecruxsurvival@gmail.com Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thecruxpodcast/ Get schooled by Julie in outdoor wilderness medicine! https://www.headwatersfieldmedicine.com/ REFERENCES: "Christopher Thomas Knight," Wikipedia (accessed July 2026) — biographical overview, camp details, 2012 cabin encounter, Bellavance discovery. We'll also dive into the documents' references to German flying saucer projects, Project Paperclip, reverse-engineering claims, and the possibility that the UFO mystery has always been far more connected to hidden technology and interdimensional questions than extraterrestrials from outer space. Please consider donating to Ron Patton's GoFundMe. And to be unknown of God is altogether too much privacy. My false self is the one who wants to exist outside the reach of God's will and God's love—outside of reality and outside of life. And such a self cannot help but be an illusion."–Thomas Merton, New Seeds of Contemplation
