Has Steven Spielberg's blockbuster alien epic Disclosure Day revealed more than audiences realise? As speculation swirls around the upcoming release of the much-discussed "UFO Files", some viewers believe the film contains clues about what governments may soon disclose regarding unidentified aerial phenomena. Spielberg himself has cited real-life whistleblower testimony and the Roswell incident as inspirations for the movie. Joining the programme are the two British filmmakers who famously convinced millions they possessed genuine footage of the Roswell alien, alongside astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who weighs in on the enduring fascination with extraterrestrial life, government secrecy and the search for the truth. Could Hollywood be preparing the public for what's to come or is it simply science fiction at its most powerful? Joining Piers Morgan to discuss the speculation are legendary astrophysicist and author of Take Me To Your Leader, Neil deGrasse Tyson; Roswell hoaxers Gary Shoefield and John Humphreys; filmmaker and Disclosure Day director John Dower; YouTube commentator Will Jordan, better known as Critical Drinker; and pop culture commentator Gary Buechler, known online as Nerdrotic. Fringe Season 2 Episode 18, “White Tulip,” is widely regarded as one of the greatest episodes in the entire series — praised for its emotional depth, time‑travel mystery, and unforgettable performances from John Noble and guest star Peter Weller. In this review, we break down why this episode continues to resonate with fans and critics alike, exploring its themes of forgiveness, sacrifice, and the consequences of rewriting fate.In “White Tulip,” the Fringe team investigates a train full of mysteriously drained passengers, leading them to astrophysicist Alistair Peck, a man who has turned his own body into a time‑travel device in a desperate attempt to save the woman he loves. As Peck resets the timeline again and again, Walter Bishop faces his own moral crossroads — whether to finally confess to Peter that he stole him from a parallel universe. The collision of these two men's stories creates one of the most emotionally charged hours of sci‑fi television ever produced. This episode is often ranked among the best in the series, celebrated for its tight script, philosophical weight, and a final moment that still hits like a punch to the heart. #Fringe #tvshowreview #scifi #timetravel #peterweller #livestream

Anthropic's Mythos model is so capable that the company restricted access to 12 partners and a $100 million compute budget rather than releasing it publicly. It has already identified 20 zero-day vulnerabilities in decades-old software. Now the question over DeFi: if Mythos turns its attention to smart contracts, what survives? The Balancer V2 hack rattled assumptions about immutability as a security guarantee. Kain Warwick, Taylor Monahan, and Austin Griffith of the Ethereum Foundation work through what autonomous AI hacking means for protocols built to be unhackable, why skill files are the sleeper development in the agent stack, how a degen farming bot locked funds in an Aerodrome gauge through a single wrong NFT transfer, and what Anthropic's 89% uptime tells you about the infrastructure running the most powerful AI on earth. Tammy spent some time with her son Grayson over the weekend and somehow they got into a conversation on wormholes and aliens. Let's see if you can follow this conversation....
Are We ALONE…or Already Being WATCHED? The Truth Might Be Stranger Than Sci-Fi What if aliens could already find Earth, but we still can't find them? What if the reason we haven't detected nonhuman intelligence is actually more disturbing than proof that they exist? Is the universe teaming with life, or are we screaming into a void? In this episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, Dr. David Kipping (Columbia University professor and Director of the Cool Worlds Lab) discusses why the ‘proof' of alien life might be hidden in plain sight—and why our human brains struggle to accept it. From the Fermi Paradox to the terrifying reality of the Great Filter, we're breaking down the science of the stars and the psychology of solitude. From controversial Mars discoveries to theories about communicating with aliens through time, not space, this episode will challenge everything you think you know about our place in the universe. ARE WE ON THE VERGE OF PROVING ALIEN LIFE? - Latest on possible biosignatures & microbial evidence on Mars - Why we still don't have definitive proof of life beyond Earth - Emotional “heartbreak” scientists experience when alien signals turn out to be false alarms WHY EARTH MIGHT NOT MATTER AS MUCH AS WE THINK - Could humans be the most primitive intelligence in the universe? - Why we're likely either far ahead, or dangerously behind alien civilizations - How proving the multiverse could completely erase our sense of uniqueness THE UNSETTLING TRUTH ABOUT ALIENS FINDING US - Why it would actually be easy for aliens to locate Earth - Eerie idea that not finding aliens might make you believe in God - Why aliens might be interested in something as specific as…our DNA WE'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT ALIENS ALL WRONG - Why it's “intellectually lazy” to assume aliens explain unknown phenomena - Nonhuman intelligence might be so different, they may not even recognize us as conscious - Are aliens just a reflection of our own hopes, fears, and imagination? TALKING TO ALIENS THROUGH TIME - Why communication across time could be easier than across space - Paradox of UAP sightings: visible one moment, undetectable the next - What kind of scientific evidence would actually prove alien encounters HOW LIFE REALLY BEGAN (AND WHY IT TOOK SO LONG) - Biggest mysteries behind the origin of life on Earth - How understanding our beginnings could help us discover life elsewhere - Why Earth could become uninhabitable in under 1 billion years BLACK HOLES, WORMHOLES, & BREAKING REALITY - What actually happens when something falls into a black hole - Black hole information paradox & why it could unlock the universe - Lab-created “mini” black holes - Wormholes, negative energy, & what might exist on the other side - How the Holographic Principle is shaking the foundations of physics AI, BABY UNIVERSES & THE FUTURE OF SCIENCE - How AI is accelerating discovery, but also creating new risks - Why the public is starting to feel misled by science - What baby universes mean for reality FROM OUR GALAXY TO THE EDGE OF EVERYTHING - How recent tech advancements have transformed our understanding of the cosmos - Why exoplanets could have been discovered much earlier - What makes Earth scientifically special…and why it might not be that special at all If you're curious about aliens, the origin of life, black holes, or the ultimate fate of humanity, this is a conversation you don't want to miss! A State of Flux means a situation that is continuously changing, unstable or uncertain... If that doesn't describe the current situation we all exist in I don't know what does. Overwatch came to discuss the current state of chaos, a week ago we were going to talk about a different chaos however that changed as it often does of late. This one got a little raw however these are conversations that need to be had.
This week Justin and I game out scenarios unfolding from the U.S./Israel attack on Iran. Is it all about Epstein? (LOL) Or might China and Russia have something to do with Trump's latest insane wager? Let's take a look at the imperial chessboard. Listen to the whole episode here.
In a post-Liturgy Q & A held by a wonderful and learned priest, Fr. Justin Hewlett, someone present (a Baptist, if memory serves) asked a question about the Eucharist. He had been reading some anti-Catholic literature which had denounced the supposedly Catholic teaching that Christ was re-sacrificed at every Mass and he wondered, since the Orthodox use the same kind of sacrificial language about the Eucharist that the Catholics do, if we also believe that Christ is re-sacrificed at every Divine Liturgy. He pointed out that Bible texts like Hebrews 9:25-28 make the notion of Christ being re-sacrificed every week untenable.

The biggest mistake Bitcoin and sovereignty-focused developers keep making is trying to sell people on why they care instead of building something people actually want to use. They don't care about decentralization, sovereignty, or peer-to-peer - they care about things that work. Looking at the user experience tells us just how far we still need to go. Why does logging into a free service feel like a hostage negotiation? Why are captchas filling every corner of the web when bots are better at solving them than humans? Is KYC and a credit card to every single service we want to login to really the "better experience" that the future holds for us? And why in 2026, sharing and syncing files between your own devices and among friends still migraine inducing? It's time to work backward from the web we want to have, to find the tools that will get us there. It has taken light years of travel, but we've finally reached Arcturus. For our 140th episode, Radical Research dives into the catalog of one of Norway's longest-running institutions. Over the course of five full-length albums and a clutch of odds and sods, Arcturus has defined and redefined the possibilities of experimental heavy metal. This episode goes all-in, exploring the entire body of work of this beacon of Norweird. Note I: We wondered who released the second Arcturus album, La Masquerade Infernale, in the US, and it turns out, no one did until 5 years after its initial release (Candlelight Records, 2002). Note II: Jeff's Voivod book, ‘Always Moving: The Strange Multiverse of Voivod,' is finally available. You can purchase a copy of the 540-page, 3-pound behemoth HERE: radicalresearch.org/voivod Note III: The Radical Research Patreon page is now set up and ready for your patronage. This podcast is conceived and conducted by Jeff Wagner and Hunter Ginn. Though we consume music in a variety of ways, we give particular privilege to the immersive, full-album listening experience. Likewise, we believe that tangible music formats help provide the richest, most rewarding immersions and that music, artwork, and song titles cooperate to produce a singular effect on the listener. Great music is worth more than we ever pay for it.
