Today's conversation is with Marcel Kuhn, a Swiss visionary, speaker, author, coach, father, dreamer, and surfer, who passionately explores the edges of his comfort zone. Marcel is a beautiful soul who has studied what it actually takes to find flow and empowerment. Hint: it is not in your head. Marcel shares about his quest for success and findings after interviewing and asking 1,000 of the most accomplished athletes and top leaders in the world about their definition of success. This answer might surprise you. Words of Wisdom: Do what's aligned with your passion and mission, step out of your comfort zone, and lose your mind to follow your heart. Surrender is not about giving up; it's about giving in to a greater divine force and plan. Opportunities are like the waves – you've got to be patient, catch the right timing, and be willing to make a quick decision based on your heart. Choose FLOW – Finding Love and Oneness Within. Instead of efforting, tap into the natural energy of flow. Overthinking keeps you from being in flow with your higher guidance and life. Being your ‘You-est You' means letting go of all your conditioning to shed layers that are not you, so like DaVinci who carved David, you release and chip away all that isn't you so that the true you can shine. Marcel learned that the common ingredient in all of the interviews was not based on striving, achieving, or pushing; rather, it was based on doing the unthinkable. Meaning, stop thinking through decisions and follow the wisdom of your heart. Marcel shared how surfing has become one of his greatest teachers and how to find surrender, peace, and flow in your life. Meet Marcel Kuhn Marcel Kuhn is a Swiss visionary speaker, author, coach, father, dreamer, and soul surfer who passionately explores the edges of his comfort zone and what it means to create an unthinkable reality through FLOW: Finding Love and Oneness Within. Marcel, the author of UNTHINKABLE, has spent over a decade immersed in personal development, traveling globally to work with top experts, from coaches, speakers, and trainers to spiritual healers and shamans. Through his impeccable storytelling, discoveries, and practices, Marcel guides and inspires others to connect with their dreams and do the unthinkable while creating joy and fulfillment along the way. Bass Cat Boats was formed in 1971 in Rick's parents, Ron and Jan Pierce's two-car garage before eventually moving in 1972 to its present location. Rick Pierce started at Bass Cat when he was 13-years old with a passion for bass fishing and building boats and quickly earned a reputation for designing fast boats with incredible fiberglass finishes. Today's Bass Cat Boats, led by Rick, employs over 100 people and offers a myriad of different models of boats across three different levels. Bass Cat has also won multiple awards, including 5 J.D. Power Customer Service awards for quality, service, and performance. Rick joins me on the show today to discuss why he is so committed to growing a caring company culture at Bass Cat and what they do for their employees to make them feel valued in the business. He also shares why his father, Ron, the founder of the company, was initially reluctant to have him join the family business and how he came to realize that it was Rick's passion. Rick also shares why it is vital to him to embrace the abundance mindset and the philosophy of giving, rather than jealously guarding information and resources. Daniel Cabrera, MD, MPH is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, the Assistant Residency Program Director for Internal Medicine and Assistant Student Clerkship Director for Diversity and Inclusion at the Harborview Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake. He completed his medical school and residency from the University of Wisconsin. He also obtained a MPH from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is a strong proponent of health equity and strives to provide high-quality care to diverse patients. Everyone has a story. And as Dr. Daniel Cabrera explains, getting to spend time with patients, learning their story, and helping them through their most vulnerable moments is the biggest privilege we have as physicians. Today, he talks about practicing gratitude in every day life. He explains the endless pursuit of curiosity in search of understanding ourselves and our patients more deeply. Lastly, he advises us to pursue our goals—but to remain flexible, in case life has other plans for us. Living by these principles will ensure a more enjoyable—and more rewarding—career and life. Pearls of Wisdom: Do not forget where you have come from. Everyone has a story and there are invaluable lessons we can learn from our individual journeys that can be applied the ways we care for others. Never stop being curious. Always seek to better understand your patients and your particular field of study. Strive for balance in your work, family, and areas of recreation. Pursue your goals. Be flexible and willing to adapt but know what you want to do and go for it. Live with a sense of gratitude.

Do you lack Wisdom- Do you know what wisdom is really- Do you know here to get true wisdom- Do you know what is required to get true wisdom- --All of these questions are answered and more in this sermon on Lacking Wisdom.
My guest today is Padma Sundari. She is a meditation teacher from Mexico but now lives in Norway, and she has been on a journey of self-discovery through choosing for happiness and learning How to choose for happiness. She is also a mum to her 9-year old son Khaled and has been a solo mum for much of her son’s life, and I’m looking forward to finding out how meditation has supported her in her life both with parenting and re-establishing her life in a different country and culture. Topics Mentioned: Curiosity led her to learn to meditate. Previously, happiness was following the recipe - finish school, get a job, get a husband, have a family and then the fairy tale says that after that you are happy forever. But after getting pregnant to her boyfriend she realised that that wasn’t what she wanted - So she decided to be a single mum - the first thing she did to consciously own her own happiness. “I really wanted to feel good, happy, grounded, mature and I was open to it. I was directly my journey towards meditation, because I was getting peace from it and I knew it worked.” She thought meditation would fix her but she learned that there was nothing to fix. Being ‘fixed’ was just a concept, a judgement. Kids don't care about judgements and beliefs because when we are young, we are just happy for no reason. “I had a clear goal, to do something that I knew works, to close my eyes, to find who I was beause I knew that I could be a better version of me, for my son.” How Padma made it a priority to meditate every day, making it work, even as a parent, even with her son around. And now her son meditates with her. Biggest impact - finding courage, finding the real desires that are in me, being true to who I am and not what society dictates. When Padma stopped looking for love to fulfil her, she found someone who was willing to prioritise her peace as well. It is beautiful to experience love with no judgement - it feels great, authentic, it is the experience I had always been looking for, it just happened to be with another woman. Biggest challenge: Acceptance - learning how to be accepted in a new country and culture. Wisdom: Do what makes you happy. Try different things, make different choices, follow your heart. Meditation helped Padma realise that there was a part of her that intuitively knew where to go and what the right choice to make was. I loved noticing that both before and after Padma Sundari made meditation a part of her life, her inner drive was always pulling her toward putting love above all else, even at the risk of going against convention or at the risk of experiencing judgement from others. First is taking the courageous decision to raise her child on her own and then later in entering a same sex relationship. In her podcast, Annett lovingly shares the lessons that she’s learned along the way, proving that it’s never too late to be great. In this episode, you’ll hear… …how Annett struggled with a victim-life mentality, low self-confidence, a negative self-image and hated the sound of her own voice … the moment that changed everything and what she did to never go back to living in fear and doubt …what was really in Annett’s way and how she worked her away around it … how she used to think that her business and passion had to be separate and how she naturally blended the two … and much more Annett suggests that you read, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, by Marie Kondo. This book offers a unique and mindful approach to productivity and organization. Annett’s Parting Words of Wisdom: Do what you can with what you have. Some progress is better than no progress. Be careful of information constipation (she explains what this is in her interview). Honor the season you’re in and don’t compare your worst with someone’s best.
