As it says in the description: This will be the final episode of the Big Ten Football Talk Podcast. However, you can still catch me over at the Big Ten Huddle, so catch me over there Sunday Nights and Tuesday Nights and more as we expand our channel. Thanks so much for all your support over these past four years! And congrats to Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes, the new Kings of College Football!
We recap the semi-finals between Penn State and Notre Dame, and Ohio State and Texas. Also, who wins between OSU and Notre Dame, and is PSU's reload enough to make them national champions next year?
On today's episode, I break down whether Penn State and Ohio State could advance to give us an all Big Ten National Championship game!
Ohio State and Penn State advance to the Playoff Semi-finals, while Oregon finishes with a bad taste in it's mouth. However, there is no denying how great this post-season has been for the Big Ten, including a program-defining win for Illinois, a perception changing win for Michigan, and PJ Fleck showcases how he's elevated Minnesota in their easy dispatching of Virginia Tech.
We talk about all four playoff games, including the second game between Ohio State and Oregon in the Rose Bowl. Plus, what the bowl games have meant so far for Big Ten teams. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bigtenfootballtalk/support

Four Big Ten teams make the CFP top 25, but even though others could have been ranked, the conference should be happy with how their four teams fared in the first CFP rankings, where they should have no less than three teams, and probably four, in the inaugural tournament come December. So... the title is a little misleading. Do I think the Big Ten is that much better than the SEC? No. Do I think that the SEC deserves to get dragged after their hilariously awful weekend? YES! And since ESPN and so many others want to praise Vanderbilt for being the 14th best SEC team that can take out the other "SEC Elites," I feel the need to do everyone the service of pointing out just how ridiculously awful this weekend was for the SEC, and how it is glorious. Plus... I give some actual thoughts about Big Ten teams. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bigtenfootballtalk/support
