Over the last year of hosting various Estrogen Empire topics, I thought it was time we create tangible change. After learning about period inequity in Canada, I felt compelled to do something about it. Did you know that 1 third of women under the age of 25 have struggled to pay for period products? Did you know that in Northern Indigenous Communities in Canada can range anywhere from $16-$45? Period inequity is a burden that many women face. Access to menstrual products should be a human right, not a luxury. The Estrogen Empire, it is time we come together to collect menstrual products to donate to those who need them. I asked Founder of Moon Time Sisters Ontario to come on the show and provide insight to where our donations are going. I will be collecting donations via mail and contactless drop off from now until March 8th. Please, if you are able to donate 1 small pack of pads, please do. Let's do this. Hey everyone! Welcome back to the Crazy Beeutiful Life and welcome to Bee's Estrogen Empire. Bee's Estrogen Empire are a subseries of the Crazy Beeutiful Life, dedicated to discussing topics on women's health and the health of people who menstruate. After using combined oral contraceptives (COCs) for the last ten years, I was shocked when I genuinely had no idea how they worked in my body. It appears I am not alone, experiencing a lack of information in a system that has build so much shame around periods and talking about them. I want to uncover the many questions about COC and give you a clear picture about what is going on so you can make an informed decision for your health. Hey y'all! In today's episode we cover how social media has groomed us to become incredibly reliant on the external and extrinsic validation of others. We all want to be accepted in this life, but seeking acceptance will hold us back from experiencing abundance and prosperity. We want to be liked, accepted, validated and fit in with others - but seeking acceptance will inhibit us from freedom. We make ourselves small to fit in, we don't go for our dreams because we are too afraid about what others will think of us. Well - that ends today. Self-validation will liberate you from the opinions of others and will help you step into your highest self. It will help you live your life out loud and an purpose, free of the opinions and limitations of others. Hey y'all! I am so excited about today's episode. We are taking a break from the science, evidence-based health stuff and going deep into the world of spirituality. When I decided that I needed to design a life and a lifestyle that I loved, I knew there were some internal thoughts, beliefs of processes that needed to be brought forward. As I dover further into meditation, yoga, reflection, journalling, and more - I came face-to-face with my shadow. I had to accept, acknowledge, and love the parts of myself that I managed to keep suppressed for many years. I had to own who I am, and step into the best version of myself, the version of me that was there all along. As I read more books, listen to more podcasts, and dive deeper into the world of mindfulness and meditation, I am atonished to see that the work really, truly, never is over. And I think it is really important that we establish habits, regimes, and practices that support our health. In the last year, I have included these four natural health products in my day-to-day life and they have truly helped me level up. I feel healthier and more well than I ever have, and I attribute much of that to these products. If you are looking to try out some new natural health products, give this podcast a listen! This episode is not diagnostic criteria, please reach out to your health care provider should you have any questions regarding your health. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Hello everyone and Welcome back to the Crazy Beeutiful Life Podcast. Today I am so excited to be sharing another Estrogen Empire topic, MENSTRUAL PRODUCTS. As many of you know, I am very passionate about advocating for women's health, and reducing the shame that women experience regarding their health. I believe that all women should have access to adequate health information, and the discussion of period products is one of those things. Additionally, menstrual products have a huge impact on our environment, and switching to a sustainable alternative could be very beneficial for mother earth. Additionally, several menstrual products contain chemicals that may be potentially harmful for our health. In attempts to live a more natural and hollistic lifestyle, I made the switch to utilizing reusable period products in my life, and I will never look back. Thank you for listening to today's episode, and if you want to hear more episodes regarding women's health, wellness, lifestyle, finances, and more then make sure you are following the podcast and rating it in the apple podcasts app! Hello everyone and welcome back to the Crazy Beeutiful Life Podcast! Today's episode is part of the subseries, Bee's Estrogen Empire, which is dedicated to discussing topics regarding the health and wellness of women. Today we are super fortunate to have an incredibly powerful guest on the show, Sheyne Blandford Pick. Sheyne and I met the way we all meet these days, online. After stumbling upon her instagram, I knew I needed to have her on the show as her mission resonates so closely with the mission of the Estrogen Empire within the Crazy Beeutiful Life. Sheyne is truly a force and advocates for the normalization of sex, the abolishment of slut shaming, and letting people know that "Your vanity is welcome here". The days of slut shaming women who celebrate the bodies they have worked are for is over. Sheyne and I leave no topics off the table. In today's episode we discuss sex, slut shaming, body image, sex shaming, only fans, masturbation and more. We hope that by having open conversations about sex we can normalize female pleasure and change the mindset regarding sex for women. I cannot thank Sheyne enough for coming on the show and having such a vulnerable conversation. Please head over to Sheyne's instagram and chet out her videos, @sheynesalwayseating - trust me, you WANT TO FOLLOW HER. She will change your perspective forever. I love you all so much, thank you for listening to today's episode. It's a beautiful life. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Hey everyone. Wow, this episode hit me right in the feels. At so many times in our lives we find ourselves in situations that make us feel truly powerless. Time and time again we give up our power to others and allow them to have power over our emotions, actions and sense of self. It’s time to regain that power and fill your own cup. Once you learn to fill your own cup, no one can take your power away from you. Find of why and how in this episode. Hey everyone, welcome back to the Crazy Beeutiful Life. Today we are so fortunate to have a special guest on the show, Miss Lilly Callender. Lilly and I met working on the boats, and have been friends for the last few years. I have always admired Lilly for her confidence, intelligence, and grace. She is truly a bad-ass gal who is fearless - someone we can all look up to. Lilly came on the show today to educate us about her experience growing up in Canada and facing racism. She helps us understand white privilege, micro-aggression, what it means to be anti-racist and so much more. Please listen to this episode, it is very important for us to educate ourselves. Hey y'all! Through communicating with my followers and looking through the research, I have come to understand that many people with biological female anatomy do not truly know what is going on down there. It appears that there is no much shame, embarrassment and guilt around biological female anatomy that we have lost connection with our bodies. The mind-body connection that we have all heard about is lacking with regards to periods, hygiene, sex, menstrual cycle, and more. So I decided to make an episode about it! I asked you guys on instagram about what you wanted to know about vaginas and vulvas and I was OVERWHELMED with the amount of questions I received - it appears people have many questions but simply are not sure where or how to have these questions answered. I'm here for you! The Estrogen Empire is not a diagnostic criteria, but rather a tool for education, awareness, and advocacy. Please share the Estrogen Empire on your instagram stories, spread the message, share the knowledge, build the empire. It's a beautiful life, xxo Bee. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Hey y'all! For those who don't know, I just finished my bachelor's degree! I thought it would be fun to talk about who I was before uni, who I was during uni, and who I am now. I feel incredibly grateful for all the roles I played during uni, and I am so excited to be becoming the person that I am supposed to be. I also share both my long term goals, and my current goals. My undergrad was a complete roller-coaster of a ride, I am so grateful for all the people I met throughout uni, and the friendships that I will have for the rest of my life. I am looking forward to finally having time to prioritize my health and my fitness. I also have some major projects that I am working on that I can't wait to bring to life.
