    It's not very often to you meet an athlete who for 30 years has been active in the field of ultra cycling & triathlon space! You know the amount of records that our very own Lt.Col. Bharat Pannu has broken in the last decade. On this episode of HTR, I am thrilled to have his coach Tracy Mckay or as people like to call him TMAC! He is the founder of one of the world's largest Facebook groups for cycling - Mumbai Cycling Enthusiasts! He has been cycling for more than 7 years now and has not taken a break, even for a single day!  He has bike packed extensively in Maharashtra & toured North India. Internationally, he has explored Canada and Switzerland! In this episode Explorer Edition, Chetan talks about how he got into bike packing, some mistakes made on the way, and what should you keep in mind before starting your tour, how to travel abroad with your bike. While sharing insights about bikepacking, Chetan shares his experience of touring Switzerland, the places he visited, and the preparation required for abroad travel.   Some points to keep in mind for touring Switzerland 1) Clothing: Fleece jackets, full-length winter gloves, rain gear, 3-4 sets of biking clothes, 1 extra pair of clothing 2) Training: The terrain is hilly, with long elevation gains and steep descents. Hill Training is a must. Also, One needs to train with a fully loaded bike with panniers in order to simulated the riding conditions. 3) For long ranges one can be isolated from any human habitation, food packets, battery packs, extra tube, spares, repair kit are highly recommended.
