Whether practicing solo or with a partner, his classes provide a perfect end to the day and leave you feeling grounded and refreshed.
One of the best aspects of The Just Great Yoga podcast is the versatility it offers. With a variety of class types and lengths available in the archive, there is something for everyone. From gentle flows to more challenging sequences, each class provides a unique experience while maintaining Jayco's signature straightforward style. The fact that these classes are recorded live adds an extra layer of authenticity and allows listeners to hear Jayco's verbal adjustments to other students. Additionally, the option to pay $5/month for access to all archived classes is an incredibly affordable deal.
While it may not be suitable for everyone, one possible downside of this podcast is that it relies solely on audio instruction without any visual cues. Some practitioners may prefer being able to see demonstrations of poses or alignment cues in order to fully understand and execute them properly. However, Jayco's detailed verbal instructions make up for this limitation by guiding listeners through each pose with precision and clarity.
In conclusion, The Just Great Yoga podcast is an invaluable resource for both experienced yogis and beginners alike. It offers a wide range of classes led by an exceptional teacher who has mastered the art of guiding students through challenging yet accessible sequences. Incorporating these classes into your daily routine will undoubtedly enhance both your physical and mental well-being. Tune in to this podcast and allow Jayco's wise guidance and flow to transform your yoga practice.
Great times today with some lighthearted energy and a moderate flow.
A hippy and shouldery flow tonight with a wonderfully smooth vibe.
This was a fun one, playful, challenging. Great juju, lots of single leg standing.
I taught this class kind of wishing I could take it. Just a great all around flow with a little extra attention to hip and core stability.
Big class, sweet energy. Great sequence with lots of (totally optional) opportunities to invert.
Lots of shoulder opening and hamstring length. Sweet energy tonight.
A moderate evening flow. Lunging and folding up front, deep into the hips down the back end.
This was a strong on with a fun group. Lots of core but not a bunch of sit ups. You don't have to do it all.
A mellow, uncomplicated one on a lazy rainy day. Lots of hip opening.
A “bread and butter” type class with vintage vibes on a rainy day.
This one just moved well. A stronger class with lots of vinyasa and upper body strength otherwise.
Big energy in this class. A great one for the day after leg day with lots of lower body mobility and stretch.
A moderately challenging one with lots of heart opening in an unusual sequence.
An uncomplicated but challenging flow in the wake of the fires these past two weeks. A great one to find yourself in after being shooketh.
A moderate entrance to the new year. A great one to get the wheels turning again. I really liked this sequence, students were very complimentary after class.
A chill, releasing one, great for these last few days of Romjul.
A short and sweet fun one from Halloween afternoon; great vibes to balance these last few hectic days before Christmas.
A really great well-rounded flow floating on sweet Saturday morning energy.
Thanksgiving Day class, one of my favorite classes of the year. Well rounded, best vibes ever.
A strong work kind of sequence balanced with a no pressure kind of pace.
A great class with lots of upper body strength and lower body release.
A chill one in the wake of the election. Lots of release — folds, hips, and heart opening. Apologies for the late update following the long weekend. We'll keep this one up a little longer than usual.
This was a strong class on focused energy. Lots of balance and hip stability.
Chill vibes, moderate flow. A lot of students coming off weird days today. They showed up anyway, that's a win.
A power lunch today with a strong group. Lots of twists and shoulder opening.
I subbed the early early class this morning. A nice slow build, fundamental, moderate with a lot of vinyasas. A great way to start (or end) the day.
So many compliments after this class! Great energy, nice pacing and some unusual postures and transitions. Challenging but light-hearted, lots of side body length.
Moderate but challenging tonight. Great energy and some low ab excitement.
A strong, mostly fundamental flow with some fantastic upbeat energy.
Loved the flow and energy of this moderate class but I kept tripping over my words. A great practice nonetheless, especially for this transition into autumn we are in.
This class started strong but ended up mellow, adjusting for the energy of the room. Fantastic lower back releasing bit toward the end.
A moderate flow tonight in the hot hot heat of high summer. Lots of new faces in class brought light, fresh energy. Please excuse my lingering cough.
This class got right into things and just kind of cruised along. Lots of hip stability and balance.
Challenging one today with a room full of experienced students.
A mellow, alignment-based flow focused on spinal length.
A bright, summery Saturday morning flow. Nothing crazy, but still challenging. Heart opening and core coordination.
This class is a great example of how fundamental can still be challenging.
A great challenging well-rounded flow tonight with some unusual sequencing.
An unhurried Sunday practice. Lots of active twists, IT band length, and shoulder opening.
Right to the point with a great group of experienced students today. Lots of shoulder opening and an unusual ab/mobility challenge.
I subbed a “mellow flow” class and it turned out really sweet. Still vinyasa, but leaning into the stretch of the practice rather than the strength.
Sometimes what you need more than anything is just some peace and quiet. This one is powerfully quiet. Still a flow, still physical, but a lot of hip openers and calm surrender in general.
