Horny Eyes for Thor with Kaitlyn Tanimoto

It's a historic episode as Quincy and Kay welcome their first guest, Kaitlyn Tanimoto. A review of 2011 brings shock over 2011 being ten years ago, spoilers of Game of Thrones and Kay being wrong about Call Me Maybe's release year. They also show the world what it looks like when three Asian women get Domhnall Gleeson's name and patronage completely wrong. As they dive into Thor, they swoon over Norse Gods waiting/coming for them and are not surprised that Kaitlyn relates to Loki. Then, they share their love for the 1997 Cinderella film, worry over Quincy's fumigation protocol and learn about Kaitlyn's time on set during COVID. In the episode's epic conclusion, they quiz each other on their eyelined eyes and thematically connect Thor to mascara.Instagram: @MarvelandMakeupTwitter: @MarvelandMakeupYouTube: Marvel and Makeup PodcastInquiries: marvelandmakeuppod@gmail.comFollow Quincy and KayQuincy: Instagram | TwitterKay: Instagram | TwitterFollow Kaitlyn Tanimoto: Instagram | TwitterMusic by Clarence Yapp. Artwork by Patty Lin Hosted on Acast. Quincy and Kay realize that Iron Man 2 has more than two Iron Men and that everything in Quincy's past only feels like three years ago. Quincy and Kay also discuss iconic atom scenes, celebrate the arrival of Black Widow, plan a trip to Randy's donuts and get stuck in an epic Mickey mixup. As they stretch, they share an appreciation for Key and Peele and choosy cats. Then an exploration of foundation history births a connection between YOLO and brothels. Quincy and Kay dive into The Incredible Hulk and discuss the importance of all the colors, both in the visuals and characters. They also cover the connection between food and their movie opinions, an all-inclusive MCU mindset, the cuteness of Ed Norton and their appreciation for the anger of Liv Tyler. Then, Kay shares a cathartic moment involving Kamala Harris (sorry for the mispronunciations) and Quincy realizes that when it comes to concealer, generosity is not a virtue. In spite of their best intentions, Quincy and Kay's attempts to start the show right goes immediately off the rails. They course correct and do a recap of 2008, the year Iron Man was released, which leads to a discussion about the portrayal of diverse characters during that time, an appreciation of The Rock, a tangent on Britney Spears, and a big lightbulb moment for Quincy when she realizes who Jon Favreau is. When Quincy tells Kay she has five things on her face, Kay's brain breaks a little.
