Best friends Caleb, Silas, and David use their celebrated cinematic palates to discuss and review movies (no, wait—"films," because real movie critics call them "films"). The only rule? No sevens. Although really, it's more like a guideline.
Our final episode of 2024! Thank you to everyone who listened this year NO SEVENS WILL RETURN IN 2025
Universes collide in this episode! Our first double feature, we review not one but two multiversal movies and discuss the merits and pitfalls of each. Oh, also, on Spotify you can answer Q&As and stuff now, I think. NEXT UP: Probably Oppenheimer, but who really knows? Barbie is also on deck.
We recorded this so long ago. So long ago that everyone still liked Jonathan Majors (caveat: I don't really read the news so I have no idea where we're at with that whole situation). NEXT UP: Definitely not whatever we said in the episode— Instead, it's our first(?) COMBO episode, where we discuss the Flash and Across the Spiderverse!
This week, we encounter two things with the supernatural ability to stick around: the MCU and Paul Rudd's agelessness. In this episode, we're diving into our review of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonathan Majors and Kathryn Newton. NEXT UP: Creed III 2023 | PG-13 | 1h 56m
Quoth the Seven, "Nevermore!" This week's film is a 2022 Gothic mystery starring Christian Bale, and Harry Melling as esteemed American poet Edgar Allan Poe. ### NEXT UP: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania 2023 | PG-13 | 2h 4m
Just when you thought we were out— we pull you back in! And there's about to be a much needed absence of sevens in the world once again. In this episode, your favorite unsolicited film critics give their analysis of 2022's biggest movie moments, masterpieces, and mess-ups. Plus, riveting speculation about what the future of cinema will bring in 2023. This is one episode you will *not* want to miss. ### NEXT UP: The Pale Blue Eye 2022 | R | 2h 8m
We live in a twilight world, and there are no sevens at dusk... We are finally BACK! Sort of. This week's [month's?] movie is Christopher Nolan's 2020 film Tenet starring John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Robert Pattinson, and Kenneth Branagh. In a weirdly apropos turn of events, the release of this podcast was delayed and may also have some audio problems. I don't even know what our next movie is gonna be for sure. Probably Top Gun at some point. Maybe something else. Just watch all the movies and be ready for anything. We'll try to put something out soon-ish
Riddle me this: what's the latest superhero flick directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, and Paul Dano? The Batman. The answer's The Batman. Also our next movie is Tenet
Of all the episodes in all the podcasts in all the internet, you listen to this one... In honor of its 80th anniversary, we discuss the 1942 film Casablanca starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid. Our next movie: The Batman (or Tenet, so just watch them both)
With a great podcast comes great reviews...right? Our next movie: Casablanca Watch on HBO Max I'm not going to do the whole link thing because it's a lot of work tbh and I'm already late putting this episode out Also thank you to all of our listeners who supported us through 2021!
I must not rate a seven. A seven is the review-killer. A seven is the little death that brings total obliteration. We're back this week with our review of the highly anticipated Dune, directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, and Josh Brolin.

No Sevens is a movie review podcast featuring best friends Caleb, Silas, and David. Episodes will come out every Monday where we talk about the movie we watched that week, and decide which movie we’ll watch next so you can watch along with us for your weekly movie nights if you want to. On our first episode we discuss Korean director Bong Joon-Ho’s 2013 movie Snowpiercer starring Chris Evans alongside Song Kang-Ho, Ed Harris, John Hurt, and Tilda Swinton. It’s a sci-fi thriller about a dystopian future where the world has frozen over and all of remaining humanity is trapped on a giant train. Fair warning, some of the movies we’re going to be watching will be rated R, including Snowpiercer. But we’re going to try to keep things fairly accessible to people. At least if we're watching something that is R-rated, we'll try to pick films that are available on VidAngel. It's a service that allows you to connect your Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts and watch their movies with filters that you can control to remove unsavory content, so you can have the option to watch along without having to worry too much about the content. Our first episode reviewing Snowpiercer drops on January 25! Subscribe so you don't miss it!
