I was always an athlete, competing in all types of sports; gymnastics, wrestling and football (to name a few). But at the age of 15 I was introduced to bodybuilding, and knew right away that I wanted to take part in this sport and be a professional bodybuilder. It all began in that moment the desire to learn everything I can about diet, nutrition, training, supplementation and recovery. Learning the breakdowns of nutrients, how they work in your body, and most of all how to manipulate them into working for sports performance was my true passion.

Long never got to fulfill that goal, but he is still remembered for his posing, presentation, and incredible physique that stood out in an era of mass monsters such as then Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates, Nasser El Sonbaty, and others. He also has transitioned into the meal prep business, which has been very successful for him. “We're doing it in a big way,” said Long. “We ship nationwide, and we have 40 to 45 different drop off locations with gyms and coffee shops and things like that.” Long feels that his service stands out because of the attention to detail that he and his team pay to what their customers need.

Oktane was founded by Toni Covington (former bodybuilder) and ISupreme Watkins (Marine Corps veteran). We are black-owned and family operated business based in MD. We came up with the idea to produce an energy drink that is not only great for the everyday on-the go athlete, but the everyday working person as well. We wanted to develop a drink that is 0 calories, 0 sugars, and fuel efficient without the gitters or fillers. Oktane Energy Drink is made with clinically proven ingredients that accelerate your metabolism and provides great source of energy. This carbonated drink of choice has the perfect balance of flavor and energy that serves as an amazing boost for active or busy lifestyles. The problem we encountered in the industry is that many energy drinks lack proper nutrients, loaded with sugars and contains toxic fillers. How we are solving the problem, we are committed to sourcing the purest ingredients that also encourage the health and wellness of consumers that they reach. we are uniquely qualified to pull this off because we have interacted in the fitness/wellness industry for over 10 years, which makes us highly qualified to develop this brand with great conviction. We have partnered with the USPC, the World Powerlifting Federation, The NPC, and now approved to represent Oktane Energy at the world-renowned Mr. Olympia. Minority-Owned Business

Freeman's nickname is The X-Man because his body characterizes the "X-frame" of classical bodybuilding: broad shoulders, narrow waist, and flaring thighs. He has been featured on the cover and pages of Flex, Muscular Development, and Musclemag. Freeman did not become a competitive bodybuilder until his late 30s because, for many years, it was a hobby and the sport was dominated by his idols Lee Haney and Dorian Yates. It took Freeman many years to fill out his large frame and he was mentored by Dave Palumbo to become a professional. Freeman's first (National Physique Committee (NPC)) competition was in 1993, where he won the heavyweight class of the NPC Junior Nationals. His first IFBB event was the Night of Champions competition, where he placed 11th. His first Arnold Classic was in 2005, where he placed 10th. His first Ironman Pro Invitational was in 2006, where he placed 7th. His first Mr. Olympia appearance was in 2006, where he placed 7th. In 2007, he won the Ironman Pro and Sacramento Pro and placed 3rd at the Arnold Classic. He made the top 5 at the 2008 Mr. Olympia.[2]

After achieving a somewhat toned build, she was rejected at model agencies for being oversized. She then decided to give up modeling and dedicate herself to bodybuilding. During her bodybuilding career Sharon had gained nearly 50 pounds, but then cut back when she changed to fitness competitions.[5] Bruneau was on the cover of Muscle & Fitness and Flex.[when?]
Martínez's career was launched when he competed in the 1997 National Physique Committee (NPC) New York Metro Championships as a light heavyweight, where he placed first. He continued competing in NPC tournaments until 2001, where he competed in his first IFBB tournament, the Night of Champions, where he placed 8th. The following year, in 2002, he competed in his first Arnold Classic, and placed 13th. He also competed in his first Ironman Pro Invitational the same year, placing 9th. In 2003 he went on to win the Night of Champions.

History shows that Bill went onto have a successful career as a professional bodybuilder. In 1968 he entered his first serious competition Mr. USA and placed a respectful 6th. Then, he completed the very same year in the Mr. America where he placed 17th. This shook Bill into a realization that he needed to train harder to come back stronger for following year. There was a slow and steady progression through the ranks as Bill climbed to the top of his game in 1972 where he walked home with 1st place in the Mr. World. He again took 1st place in 1974 Mr. World and Mr. International. Bill's career has been filled with top places for over two decades with competitions not only in the United States but also across Europe. With over 44 professional competitions under his belt, it's clear to see that Bill's a true champion.
