Welcome to episode 51 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! If you didn't know me during the beginning stages of my business, then I was pretty much known as the YouTube girl. If you needed to learn everything about YouTube, then I was the person that you needed to go-to. I was doing webinars and challenges, creating free content online, and also teaching that free content in my YouTube videos. It was a lot, and I got burned out. This is why I took a THREE-YEAR hiatus from my channel from 2021 to 2024. And now that I'm back, I want to share with you how I'm using my YouTube channel moving forward. I've decided to use my YouTube channel as a way to talk about travel, which is something that I love to talk about and experience. But when it comes to this podcast, this is where I will talk about business growth and things that I do to grow my business, and share with you that all things are possible when you're growing your online coaching business even while working a full-time job. How do I know? Because I'm doing it right now! Here are the reasons why I'm getting back on YouTube ⬇️ 1 - YouTube allows you to have more visibility without having to pay for views - When I post my videos on YouTube, YouTube is pushing my content out to others and I'm not even fully promoting my videos on other social media platforms. People are seeing me on the platform just from how I'm optimizing my videos when I upload them every single week. 2 - I want to create content that's fun for me - I am no longer subscribing to creating free content on my channel and regurgitating that same content on my social media platforms. I've solely focused on one platform to share my message when it comes to online courses and online coaching programs (this podcast). Talking about travel as a hobby is where I have the most fun, and being able to create content on YouTube is where I feel comfortable 3 - I still use my channel to grow my emailing list - Yes, the videos I create are all about travel content, but I still give the option for others to learn how to start a YouTube channel with my YouTube Channel Checklist freebie that I promote in my videos. You don't have to talk about YouTube on YouTube in order to grow your coaching business. hint hint 4 - What's the difference between my channel and the podcast? - This podcast is about business coaching, growing an online business, growing your email list and running ads, creating online courses and so much more that relates to business. The YouTube channel is about travel, and that's what I like! 5 - I create consistent episodes when I can - I still work a full-time job, and when I can create content and have the free time to do so, then I will. The goal is to be consistent, but sometimes, life gets in the way! But the goal is to create content consistently because that's the only way that you will be able to grow. Welcome to Episode 41 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! If you're creating offers for your coaching business and you want to create bonuses that get people to BUY and say YES to your program, this episode is for you! Over the years, I've had to learn how to create bonuses that actually solved different problems and objections that my audience has. This is what a lot of business coaches don't teach and I want to solve this problem for you here. I used to do this with my early YouTube programs and I thought I was doing something correctly. I was wrong. Take a listen to this episode and I hope that you learn something new today! Welcome to Episode 40 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! I want you to think about the unsolicited opinions that others have gave you over the last few months or years. Were they worth it? Did they help you in any way? Did they alter your course of action for your life or your online business? I want to talk to you about that in this week's episode of the podcast. When it comes to people's opinions, I personally had to learn this the hard way. Other people's opinions won't help you grow and they won't help you achieve the success and greatness that you want to achieve. There are so many business coaches who let other's opinions of them stop them from taking action on the idea that they feel would bring them success. When this happens, the idea never takes place and they are still stuck in the same place they were months ago. If this is something that you're dealing with, then I want to help you in this episode! Ready to dive in? Let's do it! In this episode you'll hear: Entrepreneurship is about yourself, not about others. This is your life and your business, and you can do what you want! No more asking for permission, no more asking for opinions on what you should do. You are the star of your business, and it's time to let YOU shine. There's a difference between passion and emotion. If you're passionate about something, the idea will eventually come to life. But you also need to have emotional intelligence as well. This will help you move along and acheive your goals and dreams faster. Don't care about what others think. I used to have this problem, and it's the reason why it took me so long to do what I wanted to do in business. I was afraid of what others would think, and how they would judge me for doing something different. It'll be okay in the long run. Develop a sense of self and start to build confidence. In order to stop thinking about what others think of you, it's time that you start to build your own self confidence and feel okay about what you're doing, even if you think that it could be a bad idea or not. Surround yourself with accepting and supporting people. You deserve to have those types of people in your corner. The more supportive people that you have, the better! I hope that you enjoy the episode! Welcome to Episode 38 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! If you are thinking about starting a podcast, then this episode is for you! One thing that I can definitely say about having a podcast is that I truly love it! I'm able to reach out to my audience and it doesn't require much from me to make that happen. Having a podcast and creating weekly episodes for your audience is a great way to grow your audience organically. When you have an online business, you want to make sure that you're consistently showing up for your audience and that you can help them solve their problems with the content that you create. If you don't know a little of my story, I used to be on YouTube between the years of 2018-2022. Utilizing YouTube was the main way that I grew my audience and my online business. But I decided to get into podcasting because I wanted to reach my audience in a different way, and it's been a wonderful decision that I have made. So, if you're thinking about starting a podcast for your ideal audience so that you can reach out to them in a more personal way, this episode was created just for you! You're going to learn the five questions that you should ask yourself to make sure that having a podcast is the right venture for you and your business. Ready to dive into the episode? Let's do it! In this episode you'll hear: What is the purpose and the message of your podcast show? If you can't come up with this before you start recording episodes, you may want to check this out. Do I have the time and commitment? Being able to record and edit your content for your podcast show can take time. Are you willing to do what it takes to make this happen? If you're not able to set aside time (minimum of 6-8 hours a month) to record and edit your content, then having a podcast may not be the right avenue for you. Am I passionate about the topic? Being truthfully honest, I have switched the content that I had on my podcast because I wasn't too passionate about the content I was initially putting out. But this is why you want to make sure that the content you put out is something that you absolutely LOVE creating. This will make the process easier for you, and your audience will love it too. What's the main statement for my show? Having a main statement is going to help you stand out from others in your niche, and it will also let people know what your podcast is all about. When they see and/or hear your podcast statement, will they know that your podcast show is for them? What is my unique angle or value proposition? This is important for you to have, even outside of creating a podcast. What is your unique take on how you do things differently than other people? How were you able to achieve results in a way that others weren't able to do? How does this make you stand out? Your unique angle/value proposition is going to take you far, as long as you let people know your angle and why you are for it or against it. I hope that you enjoy the episode! Welcome to Episode 37 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! If there's one thing that I have learned over the last few years, is that is definitely OKAY to love money! There's this thing in the coaching industry where people are telling other brand new coaches that it's not okay to love money, but instead it's important if you focus that energy into working with your clients. I agree to a certain extent. I believe that you can do both. I don't want you to love money from a greed standpoint because that's what we don't want. I want you to understand that it's okay to love money from a standpoint of "money will help me do great things, money will expand my business, money will help me to become a better coach to my ideal clients." Money is good, and I want you to feel good about money coming to you. You need money to survive and to build a successful business. I think it's time for you to change your relationship with money, and it can start with this podcast episode. Ready to dive into the episode? Let's do it! In this episode you'll hear: How money is energy. Once you realize this, it becomes easier for you to understand how your mindset and mood can either repel or bring money to you. The answer to the #1 question: why is it okay to love people, things, and experiences but why is it not okay to love money? How money can buy you the freedom and time to do more of what you love! Money can literally change your life in more ways than one. Money can amplify and multiply your positive impact on the world. I hope that you enjoy the episode! Welcome to Episode 33 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! If you are a business coach, and you have created online courses before, and they've "flopped", then this episode is for you! A lot of course creators and business coaches have had a course flop, and it's something that's very common in our niche in the online space. I've also had courses flop throughout my time of being a business coach, and it was truly devastating to me especailly since my main focus in life is to help people succeed and serve them in any way that I can. Over time, I learned that I had to turn my course flops into opportunities for me to do better. I took those lessons that I have learned over the years, and it led me to have my very first $10k course launch just a few years ago! If you're thinking of creating an online course, or if you've created an online course before and you want to learn how to become better, this podcast episode is definitely for you. Let's dive in to this week's episode! In this episode you'll hear: Why you should be delivering what your audience NEEDS instead of what they want. Delivering what they need will serve them better in the long run. Why you should neve skip the pre-sell opportunity before creating your online course. This will help you so much more in the long run. If you want to be successful online, then you need to take course creation seriously. What should go into your online course and what shouldn't go into your online course. The difference between being an expert and becoming a teacher. Your audience and future students need a teacher, not someone who's known as the "expert." I hope that you enjoy the episode! Welcome to Episode 32 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! As a business coach, I believe that it's important that you have a great relationship with money. When you do have a great relationship with money, it allows you to experience so much more and you're able to do good things for others and for yourself. But as time has gone on since I've started my entrepreneurial journey, I've seen a lot of business coaches speak negatively about money. They're upset about the bills that they have to pay, they're upset that money isn't coming into their business, and they're upset that they have so many expenses to pay in order to keep their business running. I used to think this same way, but it all changed in 2019 when I got some devastating news about a family member. That was when I had to change my mindset and start thinking positive about money and the success that I wanted to happen in my life. 2020 was an eye opening experience for me, and it was an experience that allowed me to see so much and do more than what I thought I could when I had the right mindset, especially when it came to money. In this week's podcast episode, I'm talking all things money with you. Expenses, bills, mindset and how I strive to have a positive mindset around money even now. If you want success, having positive thoughts around money is going to inspire you in ways that you never thought imaginable. I want you to feel that for yourself and see that it's possible for your business. You just have to keep at it. Let's dive in this week's episode! In this episode you'll hear: Why it's definitley OKAY to talk about money! And why you should strive to have friends in your life and business who are also comfortable talking about money as well. My mindset and thoughts around investing/investments and expenses, especially when it's something that I know that I need to do. How I view paying my personal bills - and why I'm grateful to pay them. Like I truly love paying my bills and utlities, y'all! All my thoughts on money and why I'm not afraid to spend income on things - lessons learned from my week long cruise from 2023. Why I still live on a budget and a particular income for my personal life and for my business. I hope that you enjoy the episode! Welcome to Episode 30 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! When I was focusing solely on YouTube when I was first getting started with my business, one of the biggest questions I got asked all the time was, "How do I always look and sound so confident on video?" Believe me, looking and sounding confidnent on video is not an easy task, but it was something that I strived to get better at because I knew that my business depended on it. It took me years of practice to finally feel confident to speak on camera and get used to the sound of my own voice. I also had to go through some mindset shifts around putting myself out there for others to find me, and being confident to not let judgement from others get to me. I'm going to share with you in this week's episode the things that I had to do in order to feel confident on video, and I'm going to be sharing my secrets with you! I hope you're ready because this particular episode is going to help you in so many ways. When you're visible on video and you feel good and confident about putting yourself out there, success will come to you in more ways than one. Let's dive in! In this episode you'll hear: Why you have to realize that talking to a camera is not normal at all, and what you should actually start doing. How to talk to yourself while recording and how you can become more comfortable with your look, your mannerisms, and your voice. Why it's important for you to remember your message, why it's important, who you're talking to and WHY you're speaking to them Personality over perfection - why it's important to share your personality with your audience instead of making sure that your videos are perfect Having a plan to create stellar videos that convert instead of using a teleprompter to speak in your videos. Welcome to Episode 29 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! One thing that I know about achieving your goals and having success is that you have to be consistent. And for 2024, I have created my own consistency plan and it's something that I'm going to stick to. I've followed a ton of business coaches who have been consistent over the years, and it still amazes me how they are still successful even while doing the most boring and mundane things. That's what I'm going to share with you in this week's episode. I plan to do two things for the remainder of this year, and I can't wait to share the results with you towards the end of the year. When you're consistent, you grow. I want to do the same. Let's dive in! In order to have the success that you want, you have to put yourself out there for others to find you. If you want them to find you, it all comes down to you being consistent in all areas of your life, including your business and the way you show up for your ideal audience. Your audience is out there waiting for YOU to show up to help them. And when you're not consistent with showing up, giving value and making the sale, they find other people who can help them, but it doesn't end up working out for them in the long run. If anything, especially after you listen to this episode, I want you to make a plan to be consistent. Be consistent with showing up, be consistent in the value that you provide, and be consistent with how often you ask for the sale for your offers. In this episode you'll hear: What my consistency plan consisted of in 2023 (running paid ads, creating a 2-day free mini-course, automated Instagram DMs, etc.) The two main things I'm focusing on this year and what my plans and goals are for 2024, and what I plan to achieve. Why am I going to put all of my focus on webinars to help grow my email list to my goal of 10,000 email subscribers How I'm going to continue this plan for two years, evergreen it, then move on to something else in 2025-2026 I hope that you enjoy the episode! Welcome to Episode 28 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! If you're looking for ways to become an authority in your field, this particular podcast episode is for you! When I first got started with my online business and I was focusing primarily on YouTube, I had to find ways on how I could be an authority for my niche. In order for me to become an authority in my niche, I had to show up for my audience, as well as show them what I had to offer to help them solve a particular problem that they had. This is what it takes to become an authority in your field: you must solve a particular problem for your ideal clients, and you must be willing to show up online for them to find you! If you're ready to learn how to make this happen, then this podcast episode will show what steps to take. Let's dive in! In this week's podcast episode, I'm going to share with you the strategies that I used to become the authority in my niche when I was focusing on YouTube. I did a ton of things, but two things that I did were to do weekly videos on my YouTube channel, and run ads to a free offer. Now that I'm an Online Entrepreneurship and Digital Course Expert, I still do the same thing, but instead of creating videos, I now create weekly podcast episodes. It's something that I like to call "The Tortoise and Hare Strategy" and this is something that I got from one of my business mentors, James Wedmore. I discuss more in this episode, so check it out to find out more! In this episode you'll hear: The things I did to grow my business while being a YouTube expert when I first got started with my online business What the Tortoise and Hare Strategy consists of, and how you can use it for your business Why consistency is KEY when it comes to using the Tortoise and Hare Strategy to show up as the authority Understanding how your goals can help you stay focused and help you achieve your goal of being an authority in your niche. Welcome to Episode 27 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! This week's episode is all about what worked for me and my business in 2023, and what didn't work. And to be completely honest and transparent, a lot of things didn't work for me in 2023. But there are lessons that I learned in 2023 that I will not take into 2024, because you don't want to repeat those lessons for another 12 months. What I like to do with this podcast is be transparent with you and that's what we're going to dive into this week's episode. Let's dive in! I wanted to do this particular episode because I've noticed that a lot of business coaches don't share what worked for them and what didn't because they want their business to seem as if it's the perfect thing so they can inspire others to get into the industry. I've done a lot of things that I loved and it worked for me (and it's something that I would always make sure to do no matter what when growing my business online), but there are some things that I would change if I had to do 2023 all over again. One thing that I will say to you: not every business strategy will work for you, and that's okay. This is what gets other business coaches stuck with seeing results because they feel that someone has the best strategy and it's going to explode their business. I was that person in 2023. But I also didn't give one particular strategy a chance when I first got started in 2016-2017 because I felt that it was too slow of growth for my business. Now, in 2024, I'm going to try that strategy and see what comes from it! In this episode you'll hear: The two things that worked in my business and what I will be doing more of The one strategy that I more than likely won't do again (even if someone paid me to do it, it's a hard NO) Why I'm focusing on one particular strategy to grow my business this year How consistency is going to be your best friend when it comes to the growth of your business I hope that you enjoyed this episode! Welcome to Episode 25 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! This week's podcast episode is all about how I'm using paid ads in my business for 2023 and what my strategy is going to be for 2024. Let's dive in! If you've been following me on social media and listening to these podcast episodes, then you'll realize that I talk about paid ads often. I didn't realize how much using paid ads would change my life and my business because I was afraid to invest into them. "What if I don't get my money back? What if this doesn't work out? I'm afraid of investing because I'm paying for something and I'm not getting the results I want or need." I would have these thoughts on a daily basis, and that was the reason why I was so against paid ads and telling my clients that they could do the same work and get the same results organically. But I'm going against that now, and I want to share with you the reason why. Let's get into it! In this episode you'll hear: Facebook + Instagram Ads/Automated Training Funnel - If I haven't said it before, I'll say it again: Facebook + Instagram ads are a game changer when it comes to growing your business online. Running ads also helps when you have an automated funnel running 24/7 and you're not having to do all of the work organically. Being able to create a training that helps to build your emailing list every single day is one of the most important things you should be doing as a business coach. I love having a funnel that runs all day every day and it also helps to bring more awareness to my business and to my brand, and it also attracts my ideal clients on a daily basis without me having to do all of the work. Learning How To Use Different Media - I've also learned that it's important to use different media images when using paid ads because you don't want to have ad fatigue. I'm in the process of learning how to do simple content on Instagram so that I can start being more active with my content and what I share online. It's all about testing, and doing what's necessary to attract more of your ideal audience online, and switching up with images and videos is a must! Increasing My Ads Budget - When it comes to creating an ads budget, I have a little bit of a money block because it's sometimes scary when it comes to increasing your ad spend, especially when you don't know what results may come from it. So I'm learning to slowly increase my ad spend, and this comes down to increasing it by $2 extra per month. I want to eventually get to $50/day in ad spend and have amazing results from it. Staying Consistent and Never Turning Them Off - Running ads and being able to scale them means never turning them off! I have a bad habit of turning things on and off, and it's important for you to let things run for a week before you change anything with ads. When you turn them on and off, this doesn't give your ads or Meta any time to put your ads out to your ideal people. Create the ads, turn them on and never let them turn off! Welcome to Episode 23 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! This week's podcast episode is about why it's important for you to create more joy in your life, especially since 2024 is right around the corner. Let's dive in! One thing about me and my life is that I'm always going to work on creating more joy. Joy is a great thing to have, and it's one thing that I will never compromise when it comes to my life. Being a business coach can have its advantages and disadvantages, but it's an amazing feeling when you learn how to create joy in your life. When you do, you feel excited about life and things to come, you're happier and you start to look at things differently. I want you to experience that, and the best time to do that is now, not when the new year starts. In this episode, I want to share with you the things that I plan to do more of in 2024 so that I can have more happiness around me every single day. I want you to experience this as well, and it can all start today by listening to this episode. Let's get into it! In this episode you'll hear: Why I'm Letting Go Of What Happened In The Past - If there's one thing that I have learned over the years is that some people never want to see you succeed in life, and they always want to bring up the negative things about what you've done. I used to have someone in my life do this to me all the time, and I had to stand up to myself and let them know that I don't dwell on the past and that I'm always focused on my future. In the book Be Obsessed or Be Average by Grant Cardone, he speaks about being completely focused on your future and being obsessed with it. To help me be obsessed and focused on the future of my life and my business is that I write down all of the goals I want to achieve twice a day. This helps me to continue focusing on what I want to achieve instead of dwelling in the past about what happened and/or what I didn't achieve in my life. How I'm Surrounding Myself Around More Positive People - I've learned during my years of being a business coach that you want and need to surround yourself around positive people. In my workplace, I try to stay away from negative talk with my coworkers because I don't want to keep that negative energy around me all day for 8 hours while I'm there. So instead of participating in the conversation, I'll put in my airpods and listen to an inspiring podcast or an audiobook. Take time to pay attention to what kind of things you're participating in and how it affects your outlook on having more joy in your life. How I'm Learning To Be Present - I'm also learning that it's important to be present with family and friends. We're so used to having our cell phones and being glued to them all the time, and it takes away from being in the moment with those people that we love. I'm learning how to take a step back from social media and being glued to my phone and enjoying every moment. This could be from going out to dinner with my husband and putting my phone away to enjoy time with him, or turning off the social media notifications of all my apps (except my IG messages because that's how I grow my business) and only checking my apps three times a day. It takes time to get used to it, but it's definitely worth doing. Why I Tell Myself "I'm Happy" Every Single Day - In order for me to be happy, I have to tell myself that I am happy. It's just like saying that you're beautiful, and when you say it enough times throughout the day, you'll start to believe it. Telling myself that "I'm happy" is something that I know will help me be happier with my life and happy with the future that I'm creating. This is something that you could start doing! Being More Optimistic and Focusing On The Good In My Life - Being negative or pessimistic is something that can hinder your success with your business and in your life. Even though I've been a business coach for a few years, there are still pessimistic thoughts that creep up every now and then that I have to learn to keep at bay. When this happens, I like to focus on the good in my life. I look at the things that I have accomplished, the things I'm going to do presently, and what's to come in the future. Life should be cherished and it's important that you stay optimistic no matter what's going on in your life. I hope that you enjoyed this episode! I look forward to chatting with you next week! Welcome to Episode 22 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! This week's episode is about why it's important for you to stop overdoing it on social media! When you're to embrace entrepreneurship and become a business coach to the masses or to your ideal client, there comes a time when you are going to have to reinvent yourself, and it can start with your online presence. Let's dive in! Social media should be used as a tool to help you grow your emailing list, period. Several business coaches feel that social media is their lifeline to making an income and being able to help out their ideal clients. Yes, this can be true, but we also have to look at this in a different angle. When you're relying on social media to help you grow your business and your audience, you're under their mercy. Anything can happen to these social media sites and they can shut down in an instant. But because you haven't built an email list, you don't have a way of reaching out to your ideal people. I don't want that to be you. So in this episode, I want to share with you some things that will help you to not overdo it on social media, and how you can start looking at your profiles differently when it comes to your online business and it's success. Let's get into it! In this episode you'll hear: Why Posting Content From a Content Calendar Doesn't Help You - When it comes to social media, you want to stay away from content calendars. Having a content calendar and using that to post social media content is not really going to help you when it comes to attracting your ideal audience. When you're consistently giving free content to your audience, you're basically yelling and shouting at them. And when you're using a content calendar, some of the content you're supposed to post online may not resonate with you, and then you're confused because you don't know what to post. You want to create content that inspires your audience so they can see what working with you looks like, and also to see what they can achieve by the content you post on your social media profiles. No More Complaints or Food Pics - This is a huge one because many people who aren't in our world of online coaching use social media to complain about EVERYTHING. As a business coach, we have to think differently about social media and how we post on our profiles. Our profiles are an extension of us and our business, and consistenly posting negative content is not going to inspire people to take action with us in our courses and programs. Another thing to elimate are pics of our food! Here's the truth: no one cares about what food you're eating. And think about it, how does the food you're eating have to do with enrolling someone into your course? Be sure to create content that inspires your audience and doesn't make them to hurl when they see your stuff on their timeline. Relying on Social Media To Grow Your Business - If there's one thing that I have learned when it comes to being a business coach is that I cannot rely on social media to grow my business. Social media can shut down at ANY time, and those who rely on it to grow their business and creating content such as images, posts, reels and stories are going to be in big trouble if the social media platform they're trying to use shuts down. If you're going to be growing a business, it's important that you learn how to use paid ads to supercharge your growth. Paid ads has been a gamechanger for my business, and if you're willing to take the risk and invest into yourself, it can do the same for you! Go Silent and Reinvent Yourself Before 2024 - We're in the month of November, which means we have about 4 weeks left of 2023. Now is the time to stop posting random content on your social media profiles, look at the content you're creating and see if it resonates with where you want your business to go, and reevaluate! You want to start the beginning of the year off strong, and now is the time start preparing yourself for that. Go silent, take time to look at the type of business coach you want to be, and prepare to create content that allows you to become that person. We have a few more weeks, it's time to make it happen! Welcome to Episode 21 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! This week's episode is about my favorite books of 2023 that I have either physically read or listened to. I wanted to share these with you because books hold so much knowledge inside of them, and as a business owner, it's important that we absorb this knowledge and actually implement what we're learning. I want to share with the things that I have learned this year. And hopefully, they will inspire you to read them and take the knowledge and RUN with it for 2024. Let's get into this week's episode. In this episode you'll learn about the following books that I have read/listened to: Rich As Fuck by Amanda Francis We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers Two Weeks Notice by Amy Porterfield You Are The Brand by Mike Kim The Dream Chaser by Tony Gaskins, Jr. Be Obsessed or Be Average by Grant Cardone My favorite non-business book for 2023: Spare by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex I hope that you enjoyed this episode! Welcome to Episode 20 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! This week's episode is about helping you overcome the dreaded imposter syndrome as an online buisness coach, and it's something a lot of coaches deal with, especially those who are still working 9-5 jobs. Let's dive in! Imposter syndrome will have you looking at life differently, and it will also have you thinking that you aren't worthy of doing something you absolutely love because you're "not qualified". I used to have these same thoughts when I was focused on teaching YouTube a few years ago. I felt that because I didn't have a ton of subscribers or a ton of views on my channel and videos, I wasn't worthy of teaching others how to have success on the YouTube platform. I remember doing a five-day challenge to help other entrepreneurs start their YouTube channels, and I only had 212 subscribers on my channel, wondering WHY IN THE WORLD were people taking action from all of the daily content I was helping them take action on. I don't want you to have the same feelings that I had, and I want to help you put a stop to it right now. 2024 is on the way, and it's time that we start working to uncover the imposter syndrome, and figuring out how we can make this work so that we can start being more successful with our businesses and being a successful online coach. I want to share my thoughts with you in this episode. Let's get into it! In this episode you'll hear: Understand WHERE the imposter voice is coming from. When it comes to having imposter syndrome, and you're looking at all of the competitors in your niche, you have to figure out where the imposter voice is coming from. Is the voice from a place of jealousy because they have what you don't have, or is it truly because you don't feel qualified to do what you are called to do? We are all put on this earth to do something in a way that helps others and makes us feel good about the work that we do. If you're focused on others and not having your blinders on when it comes to your business, the comparison bug will kick in and it will stop you before you even had a chance to do the work. Understand where your imposter voice is coming from, and understand why it's there and why is it stopping you from being successful with your business. Keep failure in perspective. All of the failures you've had in life are here to show you the correct way in how you should be operating. Many people see failures as literally a failure. They see it as the end goal of something when it's really trying to help you go down a different path. Failures are teaching moments, and if you're not learning anything from the failures that have come about as you've grown your business over the years, then you're not growing as a person. Just because you tried something once and it didn't work doesn't mean that it's the end. Life is trying to tell you that you're supposed to take another path and keep going! Keep your failures in perspective, and this will help you to overcome the imposter syndrome. Practice self-compassion. As business coaches, we don't give ourselves enough credit for all of the work that we do. Self-compassion is all about helping you feel good about the work you do, who you serve and how you're helping them on a daily basis. Be happy about the results that you have, whether they are good or bad. When you celebrate yourself and all that you do, things will start to look up for you and the imposter syndrome will slowly start to disappear. Reframe your mind around growth. Growth is inevitable, and if you're doing the right things to grow, then growth will happen. Creating a business while still working your 9-5 job is hard, and it's difficult when you can't see how or when the growth is going to happen. Always have a growth mindset when it comes to your business. This will help you to see that there are PLENTY of opportunities available to help you grow and become a better version of yourself. Write down your fears. When I did my very first 5-day challenge in 2018, one of the exercises was to help others overcome their fear of being on camera and their fear of being on YouTube. This was a fun exercise because it was something that I did for myself before I started creating online courses and programs around the topic. What I want you to do is to grab a sheet of paper, and write down all the fears you have about growing your business and putting yourself out there. Once you've done that, feel free to burn it (in a safe space!) or rip it up into tiny pieces and throw it in the trash. Writing down your fears allows you to be aware of them and why they're holding you back from sharing your greatness with the world. But in order to do this, you have to write them down so you can see how long these fears have been holding you captive and allowing the imposter syndrome to come into your life. DM me a pic on Instagram (@symoneredmond) and share with me how this exercise has made you feel! I hope that you enjoyed this episode! I look forward to chatting with you next week! Welcome to the Episode 19 of the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! In this week's episode, we're talking about how I'm using one funnel and one online course to help bring more success to my business for 2024. Now, yes you can make money in your business in many different ways, and that can include having a ton of other courses that are making you money and helping to serve your clients. But what I've done is that I decided to simplify things: one funnel + one online course. There's a thing going around in the online coaching industry that says that you need to have multiple funnels running on evergreen (autopilot) in order to make sales, but I don't agree. When you know who your ideal audience is, you know what their problems are and you know how to get them results, you only need one funnel. That one funnel can reach millions and thousands of people (especially when you run ads to it) and it can help you to make sales automatically! This is what you want to have! I was always one to shy away from investing in running Instagram + Facebook ads, but I absolutely LOVE them right now and I will make sure that they continue to run at all times. This is one of the things you need to have if you want to find more people online and find more of your ideal people so they can purchase and invest in you as a business coach. In this episode, I will share with you what my funnel looks like, how I'm running it, and why I'm going all in with this for 2024. Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: What my coaching program, Five Figure Launch Accelerator, is all about and how it can help you create a successful online course especially if you're still working a 9-5 job. How Five Figure Launch Accelerator is an eight-week online coaching program with group support and what all comes inside of the program to help you create your first or next $10k online course. What my one funnel strategy is how I'm currently running ads to this funnel - and why I'm no longer planning to do live launches or any free discovery calls to find my ideal clients. Why I'm going all in with this strategy in 2024 and how this will be the only strategy that I do with my online business. If you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hello! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". In this week's episode, I want to discuss how your next business idea can come from the bare minimum. In last week's episode, I talked about how I created an online course that generated $10k while still working a full time job. But what I didn't talk about was how I literally created that course using what I had: my phone, my laptop, and my willingness to succeed. Many brand new business coaches feel that in order to get started with an online course or a coaching business you need to have all the things: a website, a membership, a course hosting platform, and email list provider, and all the other things that many business coaches have. I want to share with you my thoughts around starting from the bare minimum and how you can create a successful coaching program and online coruse from nothing. Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: How successful ideas come from the bare minimum. When I had the idea of my online course, it literally came to me and I decided to invest into a program that taught me how to utilize it to my advantage. This specific program taught me how to create that course without using a bunch of tech, and it really opened my eyes to how you don't need a lot to help you create a successful online course. If you are starting from the bare minimum and you're starting as a beginner, this is your time to really hone in on what it is you want to do! You truly have the advantage here because no one knows who you are in the online space, and you can truly bring your ideas to life. Why "The Power of Broke" inspired me to take action even when I didn't have a lot. This book by Daymond John is one of the books that inspired me to keep going even when I didn't have a lot of funds to get started with at the time. I didn't have the income for a course hosting platform, I didn't have the funds to create a website, and I didn't even think that I would be where I am today with my business. The point of this book is to show you that what you want to accomplish can happen, you just have to be willing to start from nothing. There's an example in the book of a cupcake shop in my hometown (Nashville, Tennessee) where the owner started at the beginning, and was able to take her cupcakes and turn them into a profitable business all over the country. Don't ever feel as if you can't become an "overnight success" especially when you're putting yourself online. How and why I was willing to start from scratch. In 2022, I decided to stop running my business and take a break from it. This meant that I stopped all of my ads, I deleted everyone from my list because I wanted to do something different. I spent all of my time gaining a lot of overtime at work during summer 2022 because the opportunity was there. But when I came back to my business, I realized that I was starting ALL the way over. Trying to figure out where my audience was now hanging out at, how to create content that would attract them and how to make it all work. What excited me the most about this is that I was able to build my list based on people that I acutally wanted to work with. The people who inspired me the most, and those who I knew that I could help. Not purchasing all of the business things. A lot of business gurus will always recommend some type of asset to help you run your business more efficiently. Every tool they recommend to you is not something that you need at the moment, especially if you're starting at from the beginning. I was the person who bought all the things, and realized that I didn't even need 3/4 of them. Don't be in a hurry to get to a certain level that your business mentors are at. It takes time, and there will come a time when you will need their business recommendations to help your business scale and grow. If you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". In this week's episode, I want to discuss how I was able to work full time at my oncology pharmacy technician and still have a successful coaching buisness. This is something that I'm very passionate about sharing with you, especially if you still work full-time and want to start an online course and successful online coaching business. In 2020, when I decided to create a program that wasn't geared towards my regular audience at the time (helping business coaches with YouTube), I was afraid that it wasn't going to work. But I decided to look past the fear and do it anyway. Doing that led me to making $10K with my brand new online course, and I did it with a brand new audience. Even though I was coaching my program live, I was still working a full time job making oncology medications for patients at work. But knowing that I was able to launch a new online course around my work schedule, and still show up for my audience is what many "business gurus" aren't talking about online. I want to share with you how I did it, what steps I took, and how you can do the same. Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: Why I schedule everything in my business using Google Calendar. In order for me to stick to my agreements with other people and with myself, everything goes in the calendar. My work schedule, working out at the gym, taking time for myself, spending time with family, working and doing things in my business. It doesn't matter what it is, it goes in the calendar. This also helps me when I'm doing calls with potential students for my course. I even put in my calendar when I'm going to record podcast episodes and when I'll edit and post them! If you're not using a calendar system to schedule your day while you're working a full-time job, then you're not really in control of your time once you get off. Schedule it on your calendar like your life depends on it! I also utilize downtimes as much as possible. There's only so many things you can get done in a day. And when I have downtime at work, I use that time to listen to audiobooks, listen to podcasts, and create content. I even take time to go through courses and programs once I know that I'm done for the day and there's still some time left. A lot of people may see this as "stealing time" but it's better to be productive for something that you want instead of scrolling on TikTok or Instagram. When you have downtime at home, that can be for spending time with your family. But downtime at work? Use that towards doign something that's going to get you closer to your goals in life. Why I make sure I exercise in the morning or at least once a day. I'm an early bird, so with me having to be at work at 7:30am, I get to work around 6:30am and give myself enough time to walk 2 miles around the parking garage. I can walk two miles within 40 minutes. And during that time while I'm walking, I listen to podcasts and audiobooks to get my mind in the right state before clocking in for work. They give me so much to think about while I'm working and it helps me to stay focused on what I want to achieve. Why I will always run some type of automated funnel in my business. As a full time business coach, automated funnels give me so much more free time in my business. They allow me to live life and enjoy what it has to offer. Being able to run ads to reach my ideal audience allows me to now have to spend so much time creating organic content where I'm giving free tips all the time. If you're not running paid ads, I want you to start trying. It's worth it, and it helps you to have more free time with your business and in your life. If you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, in this #THROWBACK episode, I'm going to discuss with you the very first high-ticket coaching investment I made in 2017, and how it led me to where I am today! I wanted to include this episode again because before I did a revamp of my podcast, it was one of my most downloaded podcasts. Seeing that it was so popular, I wanted to bring it back, especially for those who are new to the podcast, and they're thinking of making their first coaching investment. Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". In this week's episode, I want to talk to you about why doing discovery calls shouldn't be in your business strategy, and what other options you can do instead. It's going to be a great episode, so let's get into it! When I first got started with my business, and I really started to take it seriously in 2017, I was taught how to do discovery calls. Discovery calls worked for me because for the most part, it was a 50/50 chance that I would make a sale with my calls. But the calls started to become a little overwhelming for me because I was attracting low-quality people to my business and my offers, and it wasn't something that I was proud of. When I had a call that led me to be on the phone for 30 minutes and that particular person was talking to me about their problems, and not wanting to sign up for my program, that's when I decided to stop doing discovery calls altogether. There's a better way of doing calls for your business, and it all starts with knowing your worth and knowing how valuable your time is. I didn't understand this a few years ago. If you're going to do sales calls (which I recommend!), in this episode, I will share with you what mistakes I made, and what I would do differently now if I was to go back and do it again. I don't want you to make the same mistakes my friend! Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: Why I feel that doing discovery calls is a great way for people to get free coaching without having to invest into your coaching program. Remember, you are the authority and you are the business coach. It's your job to respect your time, and understand that you don't have time to waste. The goal of a discovery call should be to see what their objections are and if they are a good fit for your coaching program. If you notice that you're starting to get calls that are full of low-quality people, start charging for your calls! This helps to weed out anyone who really isn't interested in being coached by you. People are starting to become hip to the term "discovery call", and as long as you continue to post that type of verbiage out to your online audience, they will see it as a free opportunity to speak with you. A lot of them will have no intention of working with you because they realize that you don't respect your time and you don't understand how valuable you are. Make sure you set up a funnel that helps you to have more freedom. I have set up a funnel in my business that allows me to enjoy my weekends and holidays. A lot of brand-new business coaches don't do this with discovery calls because they feel that if they don't have an open calendar, they aren't going to bring in sales. When you have a freedom funnel (what I like to call it) set up to bring quality people in your Instagram DM's and book calls that way, you're basically losing out on a ton of leads and sales. Why low ticket offers bring in low-quality people. In this episode, I will tell you all about why I decided to delete everyone off my emailing list and completely start over. At the time, no one on my list was the type of person that I wanted to work with or who I wanted to speak to. If the person who books a call with you doesn't fit the ideal person for your coaching offer, it's okay to cancel their call. You want to make sure that you're working with the right people, and also making sure that they're people you want to spend your time coaching inside of your program. If you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, in this week's episode, we're talking about why I decided to go ALL IN with using Facebook groups as a strategy for my online business. Facebook groups can help in so many ways, especially if you want to increase your sales and also increase the amount of leads that you have for your business. Because you need both for your business to survive! I decided to do something that a lot of coaches weren't doing at the time. I noticed that I got better results than others, and this is why it was something that I decided to teach in one of my programs at the time. Facebook groups helped me make my second $10k in one year, and it's a strategy that I tell others to try, especially if they're doing the whole live launch thing and posting content on social media, but they weren't seeing any results. Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: When you have a Facebook group, it's easy and to find your ideal people in one spot. You're not having to post all over social media and make posts 3x a day just to bring people into your world. Your OWN Facebook group is where your ideal people hang out. Having your own Facebook group allows you to ditch the free content that you're posting on social media. Organic content can work, but it takes a ton of work to make it happen. When you have your own Facebook group, it allows you to post a ton of great content that allows your members to convert into high-paying clients. How to grow your list of buyers when using a Facebook group. Instead of creating free offers that people may or may not download, it's better to create a funnel that allows your people to come directly into your Facebook group. This makes it easier for them to become a paying client within a matter of days or weeks, and it will help them see you as the authority within your niche. Easy to sell your products/programs. Your audience that's in your Facebook group wants your help and they know that they need your help. When you're ready to sell your content online, it makes it easier to do so, and you don't have to spend a lot of income on advertising for a launch because you can do it all within your Facebook group! I've done this before, and it was amazing what I was able to accomplish with just having 700 members in my group. If you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, we're talking about why I decided to say NO to having low-ticket offers in my business. Low tickets offers are still a trend in the online business world, and many people are wanting to create and sell them to help grow their business and their income. I fully believe in them but using them to solely grow your business income just to say that you've made money is not the thing to do. In this particular episode, we're going to discuss why I created a low-ticket offer in 2020 and why I decided to stop doing them all together. Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: Why low ticket offers bring in low quality people. In this episode, I will tell you all about why I decided to delete everyone off my emailing list and completely start over. No one on my list at the time was who I wanted to work with or who I wanted to speak to. It takes more traffic and more effort to achieve your goals with a low-ticket offer. If you're wanting to make $20,000 or $50,000 in your business, it's going to take a lot for you to do that with a low-ticket offer. Having a low ticket offer shouldn't be your end goal, and you should eventually want to scale up with other offers and programs. You'll hear as to why I never did this with the offer I created in 2020 and why it's one of the biggest mistakes I made (and regret). Your new students will expect more quality time with you. They're looking for high-ticket answers for a low-ticket price. You have to understand that your time is limited and you have to see this low-ticket offer as an entryway to your world and eventually have your clients work with you on a larger scale. They're low-paying seekers and they stay on your list waiting for the next low-ticket offer. The clients who have invested to work with you in your low ticket offer won't look to invest in your higher ticket programs because some of them are still waiting for you to create the next low-ticket offer that's not going to fully solve their problems. Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, we're talking about how I'm wanting to structure my business for 2024 and what plans I'm putting in place to make my goals happen at a rapid pace. As a business owner and business coach, it's important that you always have goals that you want to achieve. Your goals can be small, or they can be big. It's completely up to you! I've learned over the years that no matter what your goals are, you always want to strive to achieve them in small increments. This will help you achieve your goals in an easier way and it won't seem as if you're being stagnant. Ready to listen in to what steps I'm taking to make this all happen? Let's get into the episode! In this episode you'll hear: How having a freedom-based business has allowed me to spend more time doing other passions of mine. One thing that I've always wanted to do was become fluent in other languages and I've always had a passion for it. Because of how I've built my business, I'm able to learn Spanish and French while not being attached to my computer or phone because of the need to make a ton of money in my business. Why I want to achieve a $3M business by the end of next year. The goal is to dream big, right? That's exactly what I'm doing. You'll hear why I want to achieve this goal, and the women who are inspiring me to make it happen. Living a rich woman's life. Over the years, I have understood that it's okay to live a life of a rich woman and that it's okay to do so! Living a rich woman's life means not making any excuses, and spending money when you want to, and not limiting what you want based on someone else's opinion. Increasing my ad spend per day. Running consistent ads online can lead to a great deal of income and leads. I'm on a mission to increase my ad spend because I know that this will lead to the $3M goal before the end of 2024. Hiring team members. Hiring team members helps you to scale, and that's one of the things I want to do before the end of 2024. You don't need a ton of people on your team to make it happen, and I want to start building a dream team for my business. You'll hear all about why and how I plan on doing this. If you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, we're talking about a topic that can help a lot of aspiring entrepreneurs stop wasting time when it comes to creating online coaching programs: monetizing them before you make it. In March 2018, I made the terrible mistake of creating my entire YouTube course and then trying to sell it. I did an entire five-day challenge with a live grand finale at the end when I released the price of my program. CRICKETS is what I heard when I pulled the trigger. I spent an entire month not getting paid to create my program and no one enrolled. It hurt me because I felt that I should lower the price of my program in order to get those who want to enroll. I learned from my mistake, and in this episode, you will hear what I learned since March 2018. In this episode you'll hear: Why I created a course first before selling it and why I'll never do it again: As new and aspiring entrepreneurs, we have to learn that having a business is not like having a job. You want to get paid first before any work is made (by validating your coaching program idea). Don't make the same mistake I made! That's something I'll discuss in this week's episode. Monetize your idea first: It wasn't until years later that I realized that I made a huge mistake in 2018. Once I enrolled in a course that taught me the power of monetization first, it was a total game changer for me. How to eliminate the job mindset: Owning and having a business is not like a job where you do the work first, then get paid. It's the complete opposite and I discuss this in the episode. Why you should repeat this process for ALL of your coaching programs from now on: It can and will be a complete game changer, and this process is something that I'm doing with my brand new coaching program now! Throughout the episode, I'll also emphasize the importance of monetizing your coaching program first before you build it. There's a lot that goes into this besides creating pretty graphics for your lessons and modules. So, if you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth, and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, we're talking about a topic that a lot of entrepreneurs either shy away from or they're ready to go all in for it: paid traffic. Paid traffic has been a literal God-send in my business for 2023. Espeically when I learned how to use them on a daily basis, instead of using them for launches only. It took me a while to understand the importance of how paid ads and consistent traffic can help my business and I finally see how! For those of you who are on the fence when it comes to paid ads and paid traffic, I want to use this episode to help you understand just how important they can be to the growth of your business and your presence in the online space. The goal is to be profitable and this is how we're going to make it work! In this episode you'll hear: No more heavy lifting: With paid traffic, the heavy lifting of posting every single day and night is a thing of the past. You're going to hear how I got rid of my content calendar and why I barely post on my Instagram platform anymore. One thing that I learned from my coach is that when you're running paid ads, you have the upper hand, and I want to keep that upper hand when it comes to my business. You're not playing the organic algorithm game: There's a game being played with organic traffic, and they're always limiting what posts can be seen by your audience. I no longer agree to play that game because paid traffic allows your content to be seen by your ideal audience without doing so much. You'll have more free time: I now have the free time that I've always wanted in my business and it's because of paid traffic. I've been learning Spanish for almost two years now, and I'm now adding French to the mix. I have time to spend with my husband and my family, and never had that when I was depending on launches to bring me income for my business. Consistent leads and sales: Once you have your sales systems down, and you have your messaging put together, paid ads will MAGNIFY your sales system to continuously bring in qualified leads and sales. Who doesn't want that? Throughout the episode, I'll also emphasize the importance of paid ads and how they can change your life and help you to think outside of the box. So, if you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with business growth and you're ready to do something about it, this episode is for you! Hey there! Welcome back to another exciting episode of "The Scaling to Business Success Podcast". Today, we're talking about how you can find clients that are attracted to your goals as a business owner and entrepreneur. Over the last few months in my business, I have learned to understand how important it is to find clients who are attracted to your goals instead of trying to find clients that will simply focus on enrolling into my coaching programs. It's something that is completely different for me, and it's one thing that I'm learning to love more. We all have goals that we have set for ourselves, and we want to make sure that we achieve them. So, its important to understand how we can find clients that help us make a difference in our own lives and find those ideal clients who match up with the goals that we have set for ourselves. In this episode you'll hear: What are your goals and what do you want to achieve: This is one of the most important steps that you need to do first before trying to find ideal clients. Finding clients who want to achieve the same thing: A lot of entrepreneurs don't think that they can find clients who want the same goals as them. It's always that they have to conform to your goals and that's it. I discuss why your messaging is one of the most important things to have and put out in the online space so those ideal clients can come and find you! Talk about your goals and struggles: Just like before, your messaging is KEY! And one of the things I have noticed is that there's no transparency when it comes to being online and posting content. People only want to see the good stuff and never want to show the bad and the behind-the-scenes. I discuss in this episode why I'm not afraid of transparency, and how I will work with a coach who's transparent and one who's not. Mindset and thinking: Believe it or not, there are people who think and have the same mindset as you. Your messaging just has to be put out into the world in order to find them! We talk more about this in this particular episode as well. Throughout the episode, you'll learn why transparency and finding clients aligned to your goals is one of the best things you can do for your business and for your life. So, if you're a business owner or entrepreneur who is struggling with life and your business growth, this episode is for you! Today, we're talking about a topic that can help a lot of aspiring entrepreneurs become better CEO's of their online businesses: learning how to live by successful habits. As a CEO, I know firsthand how living by certain habits can help to change your life and make it better. I'll be sharing some actionable steps and habits that you can take to help you become better as you continue to grow your business. In this episode you'll hear: Why entrepreneurs keep going no matter what: We'll discuss some common reasons as to why they keep going despite facing failures, and why some upcoming entrepreneurs never prosper because they give up too soon. Automated funnels running at all times: It wasn't until earlier this year that I understood the benefits of having a funnel running at all times. We'll talk about why having a funnel running at all times is important to the growth of your business. Having a plan in place: We'll discuss why successful entrepreneurs always have a plan in place, no matter what. There's always a backup plan that will help them IF something does decide to fail and not go the way they envisioned it to be. The one thing that gurus are always telling you is that in order to make money in your business, you need to do a live launch and that you need to do this live launch every 90 days. Do you know how tiring that can be?! When you're in the beginning stages, live launching can be exhausting and tiring because you have to do so much before you even think about launching your course/program out into the world. There are the emails that you have to create, the social media posts that you have to create as well, and there's the actual content you have to put together for when you're doing your live launch. Then you also have to figure out what are the best days for you to do your launch, create your ads and ad copy, figure out a budget of what you're going to spend for your ads, AND create your emails for after your launch and for when people enroll into your program. If you can't tell, this is A LOT of work to do, especially for one person. This is one of the main reasons why I'm against live launching and I'm deciding to take a stand. There is an easier way to grow your business and I'm honestly shocked at how many entrepreneurs are not talking about it, but you're going to hear about it today in this week's episode. Check it out and take a listen! PLEASE excuse the language in this week's episode. This is not normal for me to do, but I get excited and passionate when it comes to this particular topic. Being a part of a community full of like-minded people is fun. You get to meet people, you get to connect with them, and eventually they either get to work with you or you get to work with them. But when you depend on Facebook groups to help you grow your business online, you might be doing more harm than good. Facebook groups can be oversaturated with people who are not your ideal clients. It will be harder to find your people because the Facebook algorithm limits what you see on your timeline, and even inside of the group. You have to figure out if being a part of a Facebook group is beneficial to the growth of your business or if you should decide to start your own. (I personally would tell you to start your own!
Over the last few years, I've realized that a lot of business coaches are creating programs based upon what their audience wants because they know that if it's something they want, their audience will buy it. But what happens when that specific program isn't what you wanted to create? What happens when you feel disgusted when you talk about the program or even think about adding more to it, and it doesn't feel good to you? That's exactly what I'm discussing in this week's episode. In 2016-2017, I realized that I was creating online coaching programs that weren't aligned to what I wanted to do. The guru's tell you that you need to serve your audience, and create what they want to have because they'll buy it. But sometimes, what they want you to create may not be what you want to teach about. I made that mistake early on, and I'm learning to be focused on creaing programs that excite me. Because when you create programs that excite you, that's when the income starts to come in. The income that matches your goals, and being able to attract the clients that are aligned to you. That's what business should be about. Business should be about having fun and being able to create programs that you absolutely love and finding those who want to experience what you want to achieve in life as well. When it comes to being on social media, you need to have a strategy. You have to figure out how you're going to show up, interact with your audience and followers, and figure out how you're going to sell them. But for me and my business, I'm trying a different strategy - one that doesn't require me to be present on social media every single day. The more you're in business, the more you start to understand that it's not necessarily required to show up on social media every single day, especially when you have an automated system in play. I've learned to let my automated system and funnel do the heavy work for me so that I can have more time to do more of what matters to me, and that's to interact with my audience and serve my clients who are enrolled into my programs. Listen in to this podcast episode as I explain what my new social media strategy is, and how it really goes against what the "guru's" are telling you online. When you're online and you're wanting to grow your business, you see a lot of people say, "I made five figures from my latest launch! Five figures is easy to make!" So that makes you wonder if you'll ever be able to achieve the same thing, and it seems as if it's becoming harder for you to do so. You're doing everything the business "gurus" are telling you - do a webinar, do a challenge, show up on social media every single day, create a ton of programs, and have 1:1 coaching session with your potential clients. Yeah... that's a lot to do. In this week's episode of the Scaling To Business Success Podcast, I discuss my entire strategy of how I generated five figures TWICE in my business a few years ago. And to be honest, it's not a hard strategy. It's one that will require you to do something that you've probably never done, and it will require you to invest in yourself as well. Everyone's journey of achieving five-figures is different, so don't expect my journey to be the same way yours is going to be. I'm here to give you my knowledge of what worked for me, what didn't work for me, and what I would do differently. Acheving five figures in your business is all about doing what's in alignment to you and what makes you feel good about what you're going to create and deliver to your audience. Take time to listen in to this week's episode, and I'll chat with you soon! To learn more about my two-day free mini course, you can check it out and sign up for it HERE. It's been a while since I've uploaded a podcast episode, but here we are! Welcome to the Scaling to Business Success Podcast! In this week's episode, I'm discussing with you why I decided to take a break from my business and why I'm back with a brand new outlook on where my business will go and where I want it to be in the future. I believe that it's sometimes necessary to start over from the beginning. When you start over, you're allowing yourself time to figure out what you're genuinely passionate about. And when you're passionate about something, that's when the success starts to roll in. Sometimes you can be passionate about something, then out of nowhere, you're not passionate about it anymore. It's like something clicked inside of you. That's what happened to me, and I'm discussing it with you in this week's episode. Here's what you're going to hear about in this podcast episode: Why I didn't like the niche that I was focusing on from 2015-2020, and the niche I focused on from 2022-2023. Why you shouldn't listen to what other coaches tell you about what your niche should be. How I'm going back to what brings me joy and why I never should have strayed away from it in the first place. If and when you should start over in your business - and if it's necessary to do so if you're already having success online. I'm excited to be back and creating content for you to dive into. You're taking a ride with me in this new phase of life I like to call "freedom." That's what life and business is all about... having the freedom to do what you want, build your business like you want, so you can live a life that you have designed for yourself.
