Everybody has heard of GPresets. Like everybody. These Lightroom presets are stylistic and edgy and as if the signature packs aren't rad enough they've somebody partnered with a few of the coolest photographers in the world to match and sell their color science as well. This episode isn't about G though, at least not directly. It's about Greg. The guy behind GPresets. Greg is this brilliant musician turned photographer turned entrepreneur in Northern California who has spent the last several years simply helping photographers get more out of their images. This chat was really laid back and unplugged just getting to know Greg and talking through what the industry has been like through a different perspective over the last few years and though we didn't pack this thing with actionable tips on ways you can get better as photographer if you listen closely you'll soak up some really powerful knowledge from a guy who has conquered a lot of the wedding and photography world on his journey to the top. If you liked this episode, or any episode of the Photographic Collective Podcast please leave us a five star rating and a solid review and make sure you join the Photographic Collective. It's a free to join community of photographers from all over the world coming together to encourage and support each other along side a small group and 1TO1 training program hosted by Miles Witt Boyer.

Our guest on this episode is Steve Pacinelli. Steve is the CMO at BombBomb. BombBomb helps build better business relationships with video messaging. Steve and I discuss the value of video vs. email and voice. Its important to note that video is 3 dimensional you have, 1) body language, 2) tone and 3) word selection. Where email is just word selection and voice is tone and word selection. So if you want to be more personal start using video for intros, follow up or whenever the message would be better served one to one. There are a lot of great tidbits in this episode so take a listen and enjoy. But before we jump into the episode I would like to let you know that T-REX has gone virtual for 2020! Like many other in-person events we had to move online to make it happen. Join us for the first ever T-REX Virtual Conference Extravaganza. This will be a 3 hours virtual conference with 4 great speakers and lots of key sales takeaways. See the podcast notes for details on our agenda and tickets or go to trexsummit.com. Thanks for tuning in. This is Best Selling.
In this episode we talk about Trust as the New Currency with Don Peppers with co-author of "Extreme Trust" and leading marketing expert on the future of customer experiences. Not so long ago, being reasonably trustworthy was good enough. But soon only the extremely trustworthy will thrive. Today's modern customer experience where every action an organization takes can be exposed and critiqued in real time. Customers have access to so many instant options to share their dissatisfaction that the bar for trustworthiness is pushed higher than ever and continues to rise. Don argues that the only sane response to these rising levels of transparency is to protect the interests of customers proactively-even if that requires spending extra money in the short run to preserve your brand reputation in the long run. The payoff of generating extreme trust will be worth it. With a wealth of fascinating research as well as practical applications, this book will show you how to earn - and keep - the extreme trust of everyone your company interacts with. Don Peppers is recognized as a global authority on marketing and business competition. His first book, The One to One Future, written with Martha Rogers in 1993, is widely credited with having launched the CRM revolution. Research by SatMetrix in 2015 ranked Don and Martha as the world’s #1 most influential authorities on customer experience management issues. A genuine thought leader, Don was listed by The Times of London as one of the “Top 50 Business Brains,' while Accenture named him one of the “Top 100 Business Intellectuals,” and the UK’s Chartered Institute for Marketing called him one of the 50 “most influential thinkers in marketing and business today.” In 2013 the Direct Marketing Association (US) inducted him into its Hall of Fame. Don has authored or co-authored a legacy of international business best-sellers that have collectively sold over a million copies in 18 languages: • Customer Experience: What, How, and Why Now • Extreme Trust: Honesty as a Competitive Advantage (2012) • Managing Customer Relationships (2011) • Rules to Break & Laws to Follow (2008) • Return on Customer (2005) • One to One B2B (2001) • The One to One Manager (1999) • The One to One Fieldbook (1999) • Enterprise One to One (1997) • Life’s a Pitch: Then You Buy (1995) • The One to One Future (1993) Don Peppers: CX Speakers Podcast: Groundswell.fm Scott Martin: ScottMartin.org

Welcome to the Leadership Vision Podcast where we share our expertise in the discovery, practice, and implementation of a strengths-based approach to people, teams, and culture. The 1 to 1 conversation is the foundation of everything we do when building strong teams. If you want your team to operate at the highest levels, first you have to understand your team members. By extension then, it's good for them to understand themselves. At Leadership Vision, the way we help teams and organizations do that, is by beginning with a one to one conversation. Our clients recognize that the 1 to 1 conversation is a key differentiator for Leadership Vision. This 45 - 60 minute conversation is meant to stretch your thinking and challenge your assumptions. It also shines the light on how you can use your strengths positively, to impact and influence others. But at the core of this conversation is the story of each individual person. Their hopes, fears, dreams, desires, family background and cultural context. All of that! You'd be amazed by how powerful it can be to simply listen to another person tell their story. By paying attention and asking thoughtful questions to move the story along, the 1 to 1 conversation can be a catalyst for deeper introspection, greater self-awareness, and personal acceptance. While the magnitude of this individual growth and change is immeasurable and sometimes unknown, it is undeniably profound.Today on the podcast, Brian Schubring and I are talking about how to have a conversation with someone that helps them better understand how they are wired, within the context of their Strengths and their story. Brian and I talk about his earliest days of learning from the original Strengths Guru's, how he has tweaked and modified those lessons over the years, and also why it's so important to listen and not insert yourself into someone else's story. If you're not someone who is using Strengths for anything besides your own personal growth and development, well, keep listening. While this episode is rooted in the world of Strengths, and perhaps seems like it's just for Strengths professionals, there's some very practical advice for anyone interested in having more interesting conversations at your next team off-site, family gathering, or awkward school fundraiser. So keep listening.About The Leadership Vision PodcastThe Leadership Vision Podcast is a weekly show sharing our expertise in the discovery, practice, and implementation of a strengths-based approach to people, teams, and culture.
