When Truck Drivers Go Postal. A truck driver walked into a trucking company and killed his boss with a gun. He then went to another trucking company and shot a female. Unbelievable he went to a third trucking company and inquired about a third person. That person was not there at the time. Jeremy Spicer then walked to another business and hid in the bathroom. Eventually he turned the gun on himself. Reports are saying he had an issue with a second load and was about to be fired. Ultimately he turned the gun on himself. This was a tragedy for all involved. If you are a driver and are felling angry, it might be time to quit your job. Walking away and starting a new job would be better than making a decision that is going to last a life time. There is a point of no return. Jeremy went to that point. There are many trucking companies that don't care about their drivers. All that matters is the profit they make. Some drivers can not be reasoned with and go too far. There are many trucking companies that are good and become victims of bad drivers. Again, some drivers can not be reasoned with. The nice word for it is ZEAL.  But frankly, Jesus goes POSTAL for His Father's House.  What is the big deal?  He lets so much evil slide during His 3 year ministry.  Why get Your divine undies in a crumple over this particular thing? Why pull out the WHIP for this?Remember He is in the most important country in the world; in the midst of the most important people in the world; in the most important city in the world; and just outside the most important building in the world.  For 1000 years, it has been the exact "location of God".  God had CHOSEN to be found right here in a unique, intimate way.  So that is why Jesus had such passion for the disrespecting of the place and thwarting of the purpose of the place.  Dis respecting the PLACE was disrespecting the PERSON of God.But let's use our full knowledge of scripture.  In about 3 years, Jesus CHANGES the LOCATION of the presence of God.  He puts it into the souls of His BELIEVERS.  In a sense, He DECENTRALIZES the presence of God from just one place to the hearts of many.  But what DOES NOT change?  His ZEAL.  His passion.  He is still ready to GO POSTAL for the LOCATION of the dwelling place for God.  But now, it is in BELIEVERS.  Ergo: Jesus will go POSTAL for YOU now, and does just that on the cross.  Please listen as Jesus shows us His PASSION for the place of God.  Please comment.

Anxiety is what happens when your nerves give the finger to your sense of logic.   Somehow that felt profound to me, during the editing process. I don't know. I spent more time with this episode -- living it, then overthinking it, then editing, blah blah -- than any previous one. I'm losing perspective.   But I know just how common, just how pervasive, just how absolutely miserable anxiety is, and in this episode, many of my friends, fellow podcasters and listeners chimed in to prove it. I opted not to share anyone's name, because somehow that sense of anonymity felt more profound, too. Feel free to identify yourself, if so inclined. I'm not opposed to it, I just wanted to be able to share everyone's story in the same way. (Except for the last guest. That's my husband. Isn't he a sweetheart?)   I was heading up to face my biggest, nastiest, snarliest, scariest fear -- the dentist, because while I do take it the extra mile, I couldn't be bothered to find a unique or uncommon phobia -- and I asked people to share their anxieties, too. And almost 20 people were brave and open enough to do so.
