This week we get into 1985's Perfect, starring Terl from Battlefield Earth, and our favorite scream queen, Jamie Lee Curtis... but the only screaming that can be heard would be coming from our respective domiciles as we thrust and wiggle our way through this two-hour-long abomination. Aerobics amateur and aerobics auteur are actually annoying and acting atrociously! On-the-nose artwork all over your architecture! Walking through women's post-workout waterworks! Gang-bang engagement party? Splashing your Sazerac on your stenographer, staining the scenic eatery! Johnny T's meat market meandering! Sphincter Muscles! Tarantino sucking on the brava-toes? Tits McGee! Curtis' yogurt devotion! Badminton in the West Wing? Gyroscopic genuflecting! Transcending the sniffing distance, and much, much more on this week's episode of The Worst Movie Ever Made! www.theworstmovieevermade.com
It was sort of the Segway before the Segway: a commuter monorail system balanced by a series of gyroscopes. While this innovation never took off, there are still modern-day companies working to revive the concept. Find out more this week, along with an apocalypse of cicadas, ungrateful fans sue Madonna, cold Tesla batteries, video proof that plants communicate with each other, Portland's biggest eyesore buildings being sold, and controversy around Bobi, the Guinness Record holder of "world's oldest dog."

I hope you are enjoying the podcast and if you are, please give us a rating and review on iTunes or connect with us at innovateipm.com Today we talk with Rob Shoup of Gyrodata about gyroscopes and the role this technology plays in the work of drilling. When I think of gyroscopes, I imagine a Victorian era bronze spinning devices performing magical measurements. Thank goodness I am not in that business, there is a lot of great uses for and variations of the gyroscopes including the tiny electronic ones in your smartphones. Rob is passionate about this technology and its applications. He is currently the operations technical support manager for Gyrodata. In this role, he works with engineering, product line, and operations to develop new technologies and solutions designed to overcome the challenges of the modern oil field. Mr. Shoup has held a number of positions over the past 32 years, including VP special projects, North American regional manager, global technical services manager, and senior technical advisor. He spent 5 years in the field running gyroscopic surveys and orientations and integrating Gyrodata’s technology with various service providers’ offerings. Rob is also an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Industry Steering Committee on Wellbore Survey Accuracy. Mr. Shoup graduated from the Institute of Electronic Science at Texas A&M University. So enjoy this conversation between Robs about gyroscopes.

The Kweens face off with some scaly scoundrels after uncovering a reptilian ruse. Sabrina acts out of character. Miriam makes a fine murder mist. Cleo eats leftovers.
By the end of the show five guests had rolled thru the studio to share their stories, or at least their unique perspectives. Not going to lie, there may have been alcohol involved. But, I think you'll agree, we tapped into some pretty raw honesty. Plus Mack gave one of the most touching shoutouts I've ever heard IN MY LIFE! Best part was, it was his way of referencing horizonal frequencies ;) 5:13 - "Softball report" > More of a beer league commentary than anything, let's be honest. #sports 19:00 - Rafa, from Montreal, steps up to the mic reminds us how beautiful the weather's been in paradise. Turns out he's got some legit hippie knowledge bombs for our listeners: "The universe pays you off differently than a paycheck." 49:25 - I read a passage from "How to DJ Right" https://www.amazon.ca/How-DJ-Right-Science-Playing/dp/0802139957 1:19:35 - I thought "devil sticks" died out in the 90s. But no, turns out they still bring meditational minds like Juan into the flow state in the 2000s eh? Actually, we just saw this dude straight-up gyroscopic juggling legit right outside the studio and bid him come in. So glad he did, because it brought a deep sense of chill to a situation that might have otherwise spun out of control, u know? 1:40:40 - Rafa decides to turn the tables and begins asking me questions. He felt my listeners deserved to know a bit about what brought me to Tuff City Radio. I hope you enjoy the details he managed to extract.
