With over 200k followers across her social media platforms, this breakout artist is stamping her name all over the music scene. With a Top 40 hit under her belt, chart-topping singles, well over a quarter of a million combined streams just on Spotify, a golden ticket to Idol, and many more noteworthy accolades, this PA native has been receiving positive feedback from radio and press. She has appeared and performed at legendary venues such as the Bluebird Café, the Wildhorse Saloon and The Listening Room as well as the home of the Grand Ole Opry — radio station WSM-AM and also numerous CMA Music Festivals. She recently became a part of Song Suffragettes, the only all-female country music singer-songwriter weekly showcase in Nashville and also joined The Highway Women, an all-female country group bringing a musical movement to support other women in country music and beyond. She has also followed in the footsteps of country music icons, Rascal Flatts and the late Charlie Daniels by joining The Jason Foundation as their first national teen ambassador. This foundation is dedicated to the prevention of youth suicide by raising awareness through education and empowerment. By teaming up with this foundation, Bailey has been able to spread their mission to the forefront and has partnered with them for numerous campaigns including Won’t Be Silent and their current Tennessee Won’t Be Silent campaign which helps raise the conversation about the silent epidemic of suicide.
Singer/Songwriter Drew Haley has landed cuts on five Independent Artist’s albums in the last three years and was nominated for the Hollywood Music and Media awards in 2014 for "It's Gonna be a Good Day". In addition, Drew has appeared in several episodes of the hit T.V. show, "Nashville". Drew is a co-founder of the collaborative initiative "Be a Highway Woman" which was featured in Forbes Magazine in September 2020. Fearlessly forging her way down Music Row to the beat of her own drum, Drew has now chosen the very best of over 300 songs in her catalog for her upcoming release. “This EP is 100% honest, raw and created based on some of my personal experiences of being a mom, a wife and the highs and lows that go along with this crazy, messy, beautiful, ever changing thing we call life.” says Drew. "Songwriting has and always will be my therapy, my safe haven where I can really tap into what I'm truly feeling within and express it. I wanted to be very intentional about what songs I chose to put on this EP because I think of my songs as arrows and I want them to bring light, hope, love, peace and healing to people. Music has been extremely healing for me during my hardest times and I want to spread that to others through my songs, ultimately. That's my "why"." Drew’s laid back acoustic driven show connects with her audience as her East Texas country roots flow through her voice with an element of soulful sincerity. Her heartfelt melodies, mixed with honest storytelling, connect with her fans leaving them with a sense of personally knowing her. September 2019 Drew joined the all female fronted band "The Highway Women". Drew will be recording and touring with the band in in addition to her solo career. The Highway Women release their new single "Shake the Dust" on June 19, 2020. Their video garnered over 400K views on social media. Their new single "The Highway" releases on October 30, 2020. Drew's single and music video Wildflower released November 15, 2019 and debuted on Apple Hot Tracks with Heart Songs Records. On this episode, Hope talks to Kim Falconer who is a friend and WW Coach (formerly known as Weight Watchers). Kim and her husband David have been married for almost 21 years. They have 3 daughters who are all in the performing arts and have 2 dogs, ZuZu and Olive. Kim is also the mom to, as she calls her "A little angel baby in heaven.". Kim shares her story about accepting Jesus at 15 years old and at the same time being a teen mom to her "angel baby" who was born with a genetic syndrome called Trisomy 18. At that time she shares how she pulled away from the church because she couldn't bare that her community didn't feel like her faith was genuine. Not to put blame on the church but this was rather a lie that she told herself. We will also dive into how she and David met and how her faith in Jesus became real. We also chat about life in quarantine, WW, family fun with theme nights known as Quaran Queen Super Club and how her faith has kept her going. And to wrap it up, I also ask the question, "Who are you listening to?" I know you are going to enjoy my conversation with Kim. I am so glad you are here and are part of the conversation. Breaking down the hits, talking about home, and holding hands on the struggle bus with Natalie Hemby and Hailey Whitters. Both songwriters, but one is a member of the Highway Women and the other is living in a 10 year town with The Dream. Behind a great song is a songwriter with crazy abilities to be able to pen those songs. Most of these tracks you've heard might have been penned by Natalie Hemby. Songs and projects include Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour, Miranda Lambert's "White Liar", "Automatic", "Highway Vagabond", Little Big Town's "Pontoon" and "Tornado", Republican Hair's "Fuck A Bomb", songs for the motion picture A Star Is Born, and way more than what can fit here. Always being connected to the industry doesn't give you a free pass. We go through Natalie's personal, family history and connections that even though it sounds like you get a pass. Natalie has proven time and time again that she is a staple in the songwriter community. We talk about trying to do the artist thing, quitting music, and coming back strong. We break down some of her biggest hits including "Rainbow" and "Always Remember Us This Way". Then her unique, supernatural ability to write songs like the way she does is discussed. Natalie also shares some news about a new album in the works after her critically acclaimed, Puxico. To keep up with Natalie and to follow updates about the Highway Women supergroup, give her a follow @wruckestrike on Instagram and Natalie Hemby on Facebook. Hailey Whitters is 12 years in, in a 10 year town. I felt connected with Hailey, not just as a fellow musician but someone who is on her journey of figuring things out too. Her latest project, not yet released, The Dream is an introspective look into the cycles of life. Not just an artist, as a songwriter Hailey penned Little Big Town's "Happy People", and continues to show up every day in the songwriting room. We talk about her latest releases "10 Year Town" and "The Days" and looking for validation in life beyond a like and when to start trusting yourself. Life's journey and challenges continually change for Hailey, as it does for everyone, but for the conversation, we take a look at past songs and look at the growth up to the present. Follow Hailey @haileywhitters to keep up when The Dream will be released and go to for tour dates with Maren Morris, Lori McKenna, and Brent Cobb.
Prior to her performance on Nashville's Next Night, Sara Ann Garrison swing by the studio to kick it with Benny. They talk about her music career, whats new with the Highway Women and Sara's love of cats!
