Today is November 28, 2022. I am still working on Ben's hat. I talked about how I am planning on knitting socks, hats and scarves for the homeless in my area. I talk about my Thanksgiving issue with Green Bean Casserole. I also discuss a little about the Nativity Fast. On Black Friday, after going to the gym, I went to Yarnivore with my mother and picked up some beautiful yarn from Jody Long called Rovesoft. I found some colors that will be great to see in the dark. I also talk about a little about how I consider knitting art and my history with art in general. I also talk about how I love to give my art away and want people to appreciate and enjoy wearing and feeling my art. I am looking for an Eastern Orthodox Saint who knitted. I am still searching for that, if you know of them please let me know. I am available to knit socks if you would like me to. I also can test out yarns for socks. Just reach out for either of these and lets get talking. If you have thoughts or suggestions to make this show more valuable to you please feel free to reach out on my social media links below. Almost every mature woman on this earth has a menstrual cycle and many of those women will have menstrual cycles on a monthly basis for an average of forty years of their lives. But knowing these facts has not helped society at large come to better understand the menstrual cycle and how to track it so that women can be functioning at their highest energy levels and resting at their lowest. Thus, so many women feel defeated because of their menstrual cycle and are therefore not reaching their highest potential. Coach Jody Long focuses on coaching women with ADHD and chronic overwhelm. In her work with these women she has found that having them track their cycles and learn their body's natural ebbs and flows can help them perform better and understand themselves so they can have compassion instead of self loathing. She and Heather talk about the importance of women tuning into their bodies' natural cycles and how doing so can make women the best experts on their bodies. This episode is enlightening and it's not just for women. Men listen up and see if you gain any insight into the energy cycles of the women in your life. When many think of someone who has ADHD they think of hyper, overactive little boys. While that definitely can be a symptom, for many girls and women the hyperactivity is in their brains and therefore often goes unrecognized and undiagnosed. Coach Jody Long was not diagnosed with ADHD until she was thirty-five. With that diagnosis the ways she had been all growing up started to make sense. She now helps other women with ADHD come to peace with their diagnosis as well as realize it's one of their greatest superpowers. If you have ADHD or think you might, you will definitely come away with a feeling of hope after listening to this episode.
