In our third conversation together, John Fehr shares his incredible journey of transformation after being set free from meth addiction through simple faith in Christ. At his lowest point, when his life was unraveling, he found hope and restoration in a rehab (Joshua House) center in British Columbia. Since then, John has repaired broken relationships with his wife and children, launched a business, and developed a deep passion for helping others overcome addiction. John's current mission is to establish a new rehab center in northern Ontario called Born Again Ministries. Through this center, he hopes to offer the same hope and healing that changed his life. To make this vision a reality, he's using GiveSendGo and GoFundMe for crowd-funding, alongside an active Facebook page to connect with supporters. Join us in this conversation as John shares his story of redemption, his vision for Born Again Ministries, and how you can support this life-changing initiative. https://givesendgo.com/GE1QF?utm_source=sharelink&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=GE1QF https://gofund.me/3551ef75 You can also give directly to John by e-transferring money here Johnnytorch52@gmail.com Follow on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61569351944614&mibextid=ZbWKwL

This is the first session at the Spring Retreat held at the Joshua House. In this episode, Joshua answers questions from the retreat guests live in our old window greenhouse here at the Joshua House. This session kicked off five days of channeling, healing sessions, activations and the heart-opening ceremony. In their opening remarks, Joshua illustrates how fear is derived from the illusion of separation. They explain how our reality is really one of Oneness and unity, yet the fear creates urges that separate us. As we seek the higher perspective, we begin to understand the unity that surrounds us. A new Bootcamp is starting May 27th and is open to all. Take the Activations Survey - Click here Check out our new podcast - 'An Unimaginable Life' available on Spotify
We all get caught up in sin. We ALL need to be saved. We probably ALL get addicted to something that isn't good for us!...however, some of us sinners get addicted to terrible things like drugs! If you begin to take some of the more seriously addictive ones it's too late to turn back after just the first hit... There is not much hope for these people to get off of these addictions apart from Christ! With Christ there is always hope, and that's what Joshua house attempts to provide...hope and help through Christ! https://www.yahwehsavesrecovery.ca/ Contact Richard directly at 778-241-1499

On this edition of On the Record, I am honored to share the news desk with two women who proudly represent Tampa's LAMPLighters. Debbie Trujillo, previous LAMPLighters President, and Amy Hull, the LAMPLighters Vice-President give me the full rundown of their organization's mission that is committed to helping our community's homeless and at-risk children since 1986. LAMPLighters currently encompasses over 200 women with a passion to serve families and children that are in need of health, education, and rehabilitation resources, all while providing opportunities for spiritual development. How do we navigate grief and disappointment when it seems like everywhere we turn there is a new thing to mourn? How could we possibly move forward when things feel so heavy? Barb Hill explains the connection between grief, disappointment, and vulnerability and how to move forward with care and curiosity. She is a licensed therapist and founder of Holding Space Counseling, a private practice located in Franklin, Tennessee. The practice was birthed out of the desire to create a safe place where clients could feel free to be fully themselves, while also encouraged to reach for wholeness in all areas of their lives. When she's not seeing clients, she's likely out grabbing coffee with a friend, writing, or walking her dog, Nash. When Kentucky legislators passed, then overrode the veto, of HB 563, it was a huge step forward for school choice in our state. Families that desperately needed and deserved options for their children's education, now had some hope. Unfortunately, there are groups in Kentucky that will always defend the status quo of education. Thus, some have decided to filed a lawsuit to stop this program. On today's podcast, Joshua House, one of the attorneys defending the program, joins us to talk about the problems with the legal challenge and why this program would benefit our state's families.

There is a collective consciousness of human beings that exists in physical reality. These are not only all of the combined consciousness of humans alive right now, but also all of the thoughts that humans have ever thought. There are thoughts based on love and thoughts based on fear and they all exist simultaneously. When you are in a state of fear, perceiving that something wrong has happened, will happen or is happening in the moment, you are existing within this stream of consciousness. However, in alignment, you are tapped into the stream of consciousness based in love. In these times, you receive love-based thoughts, ideas, intuition and inspiration. As you bring in love-based thoughts to physical reality, you add love to the mass consciousness of the planet. This helps to improve conditions for everyone. This is your power as a light-worker. This is why you have come forth into physical reality at this time. In this episode, Joshua explains how your contributions of love energy help uplift the vibration of all humanity.

On Thursday, June 21, 2018, NACDL hosted a discussion about the model legislation and a review of states that have enacted occupational licenses. Speakers included Lee McGrath, Managing Attorney of the Institute for Justice Minnesota office and IJ’s Senior Legislative Counsel; and Joshua House, an attorney with the Institute for Justice. The Institute for Justice has developed a campaign including model legislation that serves as a resource for state legislatures to institute laws designed to alleviate the barriers those with a conviction are faced with in applying for licenses. NACDL is supporting the occupational licensing model legislation (“Occupational Licensing Review Act”) and the “Model Collateral Consequences Reduction Act.” Background One of the primary barriers for those formerly incarcerated who are reentering the workforce is the ability to obtain an occupational license. While incarcerated, many individuals are trained and employed in industries that require a license. However, even upon reentry they are unable to apply for these licenses that would enable them to work in those very fields that could essentially help end the ever-revolving recidivism door.
