Blueticks are slow. Blueticks have bad feet. Bluetick breeders are kennel blind. Blueticks have never won the UKC WORLD HUNT. The list could go on and on. In spite of it all, Bluetick folks are dedicated. Brian cut his teeth coonhunting with some of the greats. Indiana is home to more UKC World Championship trophies than any other state, by a wide margin. So, Brian could have gone any direction with any of the hound breeds but he found his groove with a line of blueticks commonly referred to as the Rambo Line. Lonnie Smiley and Kevin Leach took Brian in and raised him up in blue tick tradition. Brian is now sharing this inheritance with his son Conor. Chris, Brian and Conor spend a morning talking about hunting and hounds with a deep dive into this sliver of Bluetick History. They look at how the Utchmans, Peryymans and Smileys all came together to produce this dominant line of Bluetick Coonhounds. ►Get Your Houndsman XP Info, Gear & More Here!www.HoundsmanXP.com►Become a Patron of Houndsman XP! Welcome to the Red Letters & Whitetails podcast! On episode 6, host Steven Crawford kicks off part 1 of a 3-part series talking about how to balance family, work, and the outdoors with co-owner of Latitude Outdoors Kevin Leach. Before the discussion with Kevin, Steven jumps into the gospel of Matthew, where he does a deep dive into Matthew 6:14-15. These verses talk about being forgiving to others who have wronged you, in order to be right with God. In these verses, Jesus declares "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Powerful words to live by. If we are continuously asking God for forgiveness of our sins, are we also continuously forgiving others who have wronged us? After a discussion around the Letters in Red, Steven and Kevin discuss balancing family, work and the outdoors. Something we can all strive to be better at! Kevin has a 20 month year old daughter at home, so last year was his first full hunting season trying to balance having a child, along with maintaining a quality marriage, and still finding time to enjoy the whitetail pursuit in the fall. This was a great conversation that would be great for any father, or expecting father, to listen to; Kevin also talks briefly talks about what's new at latitude outdoors and what we can expect from them this fall as hunting season approaches! Dr. Elizabeth Hoefer, DCCJP, tells the story of how her anxiety and suicidal thoughts left her in an instant. Now she is devoting her life to multiplying the kind of help she herself received by being a leader within the Upper Cervical Chiropractic Profession, where she has obtained the highest level of specialty in head and neck issues in order to continually be able to help even the most severe, chronic and complicated conditions. In this episode, we talk about the following:Suicidal thoughts. Looking at where she is right now as a successful doctor in private practice you can draw the conclusion that the beginning doesn't dictate the ending. Your choices every day are what make the difference. Dr. Hoefer always had a resolute determination to be successful. It didn't necessarily mean financial; it just meant that she was going to get up every day and survive. Education was a pathway to success.Getting off medication, she started feeling a little better, but it didn't take away that suicidal ideology, which is that overwhelming perseverating thought of just wanting to die every day. A friend recommended Blair Upper Cervical. She didn't believe it would help because she had been under chiropractic care her whole life.It was determined that she had a tiny posterior inferior left misalignment of the atlas vertebrae. The reason it's called the atlas is that they named it after that Greek God that held the world up on his shoulders. This little two-ounce bone holds up this big bowling ball of a brain and a skull. The implications of that being misaligned and literally choking off communication between your brain and your body and your body and your brain is massive. Kevin Leach, a student, gave the correction. Instantaneously, her mind was healed. Dr. Hoefer had hope for the first time in her life and had never experienced that kind of peace.Dr. Hofer says God healed her so that she can heal others. This is the motivation that has driven her to continue to pursue education to get to the top of the profession in order to understand healing better and to help more people. You can find Dr. Elizabeth Hoefer at Well Connected Chiropractic in Mission Viejo in Southern California.info@wellconnectedchiro.comTo contact Ruth, go to https://www.blairclinic.comruth@blairclinic.comhttps://www.facebook.com/rutelinWe hope you will consider sharing this episode to share hope with someone who is struggling with mental health issues.

For more information: https://www.voschoolpodcast.com This week on the VO School Podcast we are discussing studio connectivity. While this may not be the sexiest subject, it is an aspect of voiceover that needs to be understood in order to compete as a voice actor in 2018 and beyond. What is ‘studio connectivity’? This is the technology that allows you to connect your home studio (however modest) to the world. This enables you to be directed live in much the same way as a talent visiting a recording studio, but from the comfort of your own home! This can be a complicated subject and is often misunderstood, so allow us to strip everything back to the basics as we discuss the history of this technology, where we are today and where we think this tech is going in the next five to ten years. If acronyms such as ISDN, IPDTL, SPID, SIP, VOIP or PRI hold little meaning for you, this episode is for you! Joining us this week are Kevin Leach, founding director of In:Quality, makers of the popular ipDTL studio connection service. Kevin is also an engineer with decades of experience in radio for the BBC. Tim Friedlander is a voice talent and owner of SoundboxLA a recording studio in Los Angeles that specializes in recording voice talent.
