In this transformative solo episode, abundance expert and business coach Sarah Walton reveals why traditional business strategies often fall short and shares the energetic approach to growth that's changing everything for ambitious women entrepreneurs. Through personal stories, including a remarkable synchronicity involving a pair of jeans, Sarah explores how shifting from chasing to receiving can revolutionize your business results. If you've built a successful business but still feel stuck, exhausted, or like you're forcing every outcome, this episode offers a refreshing perspective on scaling with soul, strategy, and sanity. What You'll Learn: 1. Why "just being strategic" stops working at higher levels of business success 2. The difference between chasing abundance and allowing it to flow to you naturally 3. How your nervous system impacts your ability to scale sustainably 4. The power of making clear requests to the universe while releasing attachment to outcomes 5. Why community and being truly seen are essential for business expansion 6. Real client transformation stories that prove it's about becoming, not just doing 7. How to shift from over-functioning to receiving what's already trying to reach you 8. The energetic frequency that successful entrepreneurs embody versus those who struggle Sarah Walton challenges the conventional wisdom that business success comes solely from better strategies and harder work. Drawing from 18 years of entrepreneurial experience, she reveals how the most successful business owners operate from a different frequency altogether-one of alignment, trust, and receiving rather than constant chasing and forcing. The episode opens with Sarah's powerful assertion that "businesses don't fail, they quit," setting the stage for a deeper exploration of what happens when entrepreneurs move beyond survival mode into true abundance. Through the delightful story of manifesting the perfect pair of jeans, Sarah illustrates how the universe responds when we make clear requests without attachment, demonstrating principles that directly apply to business growth. Sarah addresses the loneliness and isolation many entrepreneurs face, explaining how the quality of our daily conversations shapes our business reality. She emphasizes that successful scaling isn't about finding better tactics, but about becoming the person who can hold larger results without breaking. The episode includes inspiring stories from her Abundance Academy, where clients have achieved 7x revenue growth by shifting their energy and approach. Key insights include understanding that 90%of sales is energy while only 10% is what you're selling, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right community, and how our nervous system either supports or sabotages our next level of success. Sarah concludes with practical guidance on moving from strategy-focused to frequency-focused business building. Some Aucklanders have received Watercare bills that claim they have not used a single drop of water in the past month, or in some cases for months, no showers had, no toilets flushed, no house plant watered, no kettles filled; nothing. Online forums confused customers are asking about receiving zero use bills, others say they've had enormous catch-up accounts months after getting zero bills, all due to Watercare's smart metres. Checkpoint spoke to a few customers.

In 2012, because of an experience, I decided to be more open to receiving help from others. Trust me when I say my progress has been slow! I've always prided myself on my independence, ingenuity, and ability to do whatever needs to be done. I have always felt confident in “doing it myself.” However, it's a challenge to do everything by yourself, all the time, and you miss out on the other side of the coin, the value that comes from receiving. I've had to learn this the hard way. My inspiration to work on allowing others to share in my burdens came because of two people in my life that I loved, both with significant special needs. One was my unofficially adopted daughter, Michelle, in her thirties, and my granddaughter, Maggie. They both had cerebral palsy. Join me as I share their story and how it has affected me when it comes to serving and receiving. Your heart will be moved!

Giving and receiving are essentially two sides of the same coin. In the metaphysical approach to prosperity, giving and receiving are essential to becoming prosperous. The affirmative attitude is constantly saying “yes” to life and God's divine ideas. With such an attitude, you will become truly prosperous. Even if you are not concerned with material wealth, you will experience prosperity of the very highest order. You will be free from financial worries and thoughts of lack.
Recieving a diagnosis or prognosis around an injury can come with a flood of emotions. Sadness, anger, confusion, frustration, the list goes on. Whether you've been in this postion yourself or seen someone who has, hearing these words can be really hard, especially when it hasn't be delievered with the best bedside manner. Being told “you'll never be able to run again”, “surgery is the only answer” or “you'll always be in pain” can be devastating. The Electoral Commission is being defended this morning. About 1.4 million voters haven't received their EasyVote packs three days into the 13-day voting period. Electoral law expert Graeme Edgeler says the thing that delays them is that the cards have party lists and the names of local candidates. He told Mike Hosking that this delay is the norm, and it would be almost impossible to get them out on time. Edgeler says it's difficult for them because that information was only available mid-last month. He adds mail is not as fast as it used to be. Anette Dennis and Sister Kristin M. Yee. In 2022, Latter-day Saints answered the call to provide relief as the Church engaged in 3,692 humanitarian projects in 190 countries and territories — with 6.3 million hours of volunteer work and $1.02 billion in expenditures. Dr. Elizabeth Hoefer, DCCJP, tells the story of how her anxiety and suicidal thoughts left her in an instant. Now she is devoting her life to multiplying the kind of help she herself received by being a leader within the Upper Cervical Chiropractic Profession, where she has obtained the highest level of specialty in head and neck issues in order to continually be able to help even the most severe, chronic and complicated conditions. In this episode, we talk about the following:Suicidal thoughts. Looking at where she is right now as a successful doctor in private practice you can draw the conclusion that the beginning doesn't dictate the ending. Your choices every day are what make the difference. Dr. Hoefer always had a resolute determination to be successful. It didn't necessarily mean financial; it just meant that she was going to get up every day and survive. Education was a pathway to success.Getting off medication, she started feeling a little better, but it didn't take away that suicidal ideology, which is that overwhelming perseverating thought of just wanting to die every day. A friend recommended Blair Upper Cervical. She didn't believe it would help because she had been under chiropractic care her whole life.It was determined that she had a tiny posterior inferior left misalignment of the atlas vertebrae. The reason it's called the atlas is that they named it after that Greek God that held the world up on his shoulders. This little two-ounce bone holds up this big bowling ball of a brain and a skull. The implications of that being misaligned and literally choking off communication between your brain and your body and your body and your brain is massive. Kevin Leach, a student, gave the correction. Instantaneously, her mind was healed. Dr. Hoefer had hope for the first time in her life and had never experienced that kind of peace.Dr. Hofer says God healed her so that she can heal others. This is the motivation that has driven her to continue to pursue education to get to the top of the profession in order to understand healing better and to help more people. You can find Dr. Elizabeth Hoefer at Well Connected Chiropractic in Mission Viejo in Southern California.info@wellconnectedchiro.comTo contact Ruth, go to https://www.blairclinic.comruth@blairclinic.comhttps://www.facebook.com/rutelinWe hope you will consider sharing this episode to share hope with someone who is struggling with mental health issues.
(Loose) Transcript: 007. 3 Affirmations for Self Compassion Welcome to the Soft, Where? podcast where I talk about my journey toward finding softness inside technology. This podcast is presented by Seeda School, a skill building platform for learning how to code through a black feminist lens. I am currently offering 1:1 coaching for black feminists looking to develop a coding portfolio of 5 projects in 15 weeks. Visit http://seedaschool.com to book a free consultation call where we'll hop on Zoom to discuss your web development goals and how Seeda School might be able to help. When I reflect on my 3 “biggest” and most recent struggles, the core struggle beneath them all is grappling with a sense of worthiness. For most of us, struggles with worthiness are seeded during childhood and while I won't spend a whole lot of time talking childhood trauma I will get into the 3 growth areas I'm currently working through: Money Mindset, Receiving Love and Care, and Perfectionism. I will also share the new stories I'm telling myself rooted in worthiness, creating fertile soil for surrender and a harvest as wild and emergent as the love we're cultivating for ourselves and each other. You can find this podcast in all major podcast apps. I invite you to take a screenshot and share it on social media or with other black feminists who are also on a journey of finding softness inside technology.

The book is Demon Copperhead , the author is Barbara Kingsolver. That should be enough said. If you read it and don't come away thinking it is the best book you've read this year, it will be among the best. Her book is a prodigious feat on many levels. It is beautifully written. It gives you a sense of a part of America often ignored. It has wonderful characters. It is funny, and she writes it as a parallel to David Copperfield , Charles Dickens' most personal novel.
