The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - recapped a cold Day 7 of Washington Spring Football, held inside Husky Stadium. It was a Wednesday where some different combinations were being used on both sides of the ball during the 11-11 period where the media was able to watch. And Sam Huard got the first-team reps today. The guys broke down their post-practice conversations with some of the offensive coaches and players they spoke to, including Lee Marks, JaMarcus Shephard, Aaron Dumas, Jay'Veon Sunday, Junior Alexander, and Rome Odunze. After a quick break, talk turns to recruiting - namely the prospects that we were able to see watching practice, including one big local name and one big name from California that we were able to identify. We also spoke a little bit more on Washington's latest hoops transfer, guard Noah Williams from Washington State, his potential impact on the roster, and the ongoing search for a couple of big men. When we talk about domestic abuse, the first image that comes to mind for many of us is of a physically abusive male partner, intimidating or attacking his female partner. But is there more to it than that? Today I'm delighted to be joined by Lee Marks, who is a researcher, and author of the book Break the Silence - A support guide for male victims of domestic abuse. He is the founder of Break the Silence where they support people of every age, race, class and gender in dealing with the devastating effects of domestic abuse, seeing that the victims are from all segments of society. Their mission is to support everyone affected to “break the silence” and live a violence free existence. Former Fargo radio host Christopher Gabriel sent along this brief clip from his current show on 940 ESPN in Fresno in which Fresno State running backs coach Lee Marks recalls coaching in the Fargodome while he was an assistant with South Dakota State in 2012.  It's pretty standard fare -- and opposing coach saying the dome has a great atmosphere -- but Christopher thought Bison fans would enjoy it so he passed it along. Marks was with SDSU only one season, but he's been around and coached games in a lot of places. What he says about the dome is very complimentary.
