Dr Kenneth Bruce So That You May Believe Healing Of the Blind Man John 9:1-23
So That You May Believe Sermon SeriesJesus did hundreds and hundreds of miracles during His ministry. In his gospel, John says that if he were to write about all of them the whole world could not contain all the writings. John didn't write about every amazing thing Jesus did, but he chose seven miracles to focus on in his gospel that serve as signs of Jesus identity. As we study these seven accounts we can't help but be amazed at the authority, power and compassion of the Son of God, and we celebrate the ways we see His work in our lives. Series Memory Verse – John 20:30-31"Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name."Pastor Matt Clausen preaches from the Shakopee Campus.

Studies in John: 49 Behold the Man - John 19:1-15
John Henry is an American folk hero. His mythology goes back to the 1800s and no one is quite sure what part of his story is real, or legend. Nevertheless his story lives on mainly in song form. And his story could not be more relevant today with the advent of LLMs and AI threatening to take people's jobs and change society forever. This week we take a look at some great renditions of his tale from; Johnny Cash, Lead Belly, Rhiannon Giddens/Justin Robinson, Woody Guthrie, Charley Crockett and Drive-By Truckers. I hope you dig it!
A man born blind sits at the gate. He didn't end up there as punishment for sin. He ended up there because Jesus was going to walk by. In John 9, Jesus shows us what he does with broken, blind, outcast people and how he does the same thing with us. He comes close, and shows his glory.Vicar Schroeder's sermon preached at Faith on March 1, 2026. Intro/Outro Music: “Depth of Field” by David Hilowitz
In John 9, Jesus heals a man who was born blind—but the miracle itself takes only two verses. The rest of the chapter is filled with arguments about what it means. This sermon explores how miracles aren't meant to simply make life easier; they reveal God's vision for the world and invite us to see reality differently. When God changes our lives, it may disrupt the systems and expectations around us, but it ultimately calls us to bear witness to a greater kingdom.

A single conversation reveals the mission of Jesus and the power of the gospel.
The conversation covers a range of topics, from snow clearing woes to family and travel, and finally delves into the life of John Merrick, also known as the Elephant Man. The takeaways from the conversation include resilience and compassion, which are evident in the various themes discussed. The conversation delves into the nature of visibility, validation, vulnerability, and the tragic consequences of visibility in the modern age. It contrasts the experiences of historical figures like John Merrick with modern influencers, highlighting the psychological weight of validation and the difference between being watched and being seen.TakeawaysResilienceCompassion Validation in the modern attention economy can carry real psychological weight.Attention isn't care. In this message, we continue our study in John 1, where we see two final titles that reveal who Jesus truly is, the King of Israel and the Son of Man. Through His authority, His knowledge of us, and His revealing of God's love, we're reminded why Jesus alone is worthy to call to us, “Follow Me.” Through the story of Philip and Nathanael, we see Jesus seeking ordinary people and calling them to follow Him as disciples. Listen and reflect on how Jesus not only knows us, but reveals God's love in a way that calls for a response of faith and daily devotion. Also on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x72FVAUYyZwSunday, November 9, 2025Pastor Kevin PierpontCalvary Church, Webberville, Michiganhttps://webbervillechurch.org

Pastor Micah Klutinoty in John 19:1-22 shares that before we can behold the beauty of the Lamb, we must first face the horror of our sin that mocked, rejected, and crucified Him. Our sin placed shame upon the innocent Man, King Jesus, who bore our curse and thorns in full obedience and grace. Yet in His rejection and suffering, the mercy of God triumphed as Jesus hung on the cross to bring salvation to the ungodly.
For our salvation to become a reality Jesus had to be fully God and fully man. In this sermon, we discover why this doctrine is crucial to our faith.

Numerous spiritual traditions speak about the miraculous power of Kundalini, the transformative energy and intelligence of the Divine Mother. However, much propaganda abounds regarding its requirements, effects, manifestation, and evolution within the individual. What people don't realize is that the widespread psychological imbalances, confusion, and dangers attributed to Kundalini is actually its opposite: Kundabuffer, symbolized by the tempting serpent of Eden (Genesis 3:1), the fiery serpents that afflicted the Israelites in their desert sojourn (Numbers 21:6), and the inverted tail that characterizes demons (Revelations 12:4). Kundalini is different: the brazen serpent of Moses that redeems and heals (Numbers 21:8-9); the prudence, serpentine wisdom, and dove-like harmlessness that guides authentic initiates (Matthew 10:16); the sacred power that uplifts the Son of Man (John 3:14) and the Pentecostal tongues of fire or Holy Spirit that descends upon the inspired apostles (Acts 2:3). The way to know and experience the difference depends on a person's ethics, purity, and cooperation within a perfect matrimony, not expensive workshops, fees, or blessings from a “guru.” By fulfilling spiritual laws through the qualifications of the heart, it becomes possible to work with the real power of divinity, the sexual force that allows one to be truly born again (John 3:5).
To outsiders, John List was a mild-mannered, church-going father of three whose oddest trait was mowing the lawn in a suit and tie. But then the bodies of his wife, mother and three children were uncovered rotting in the family's Westfield, New Jersey, home in late 1971. This was no whodunit: List left notes explaining not only what he'd done, but why he claimed he had to do it. Then he disappeared, becoming one of America's most wanted criminals.
