In this episode of the Conscious Fertility Podcast, Dr. Marcus Anthony speaks about his research on integrated intelligence, which is the idea that human consciousness is embedded within layers of intelligence that transcend the local mind. He explains that this form of intelligence involves the synchronization of the mind through mirror neurons, connecting us to each other, the environment, and spiritual realms. Dr. Anthony describes how this connection can be accessed through non-ordinary states of consciousness, such as dreams and meditative states, and can potentially change the way we think about intelligence. Dr. Anthony explains the concept of psychoneuroimmunology, which is the idea that one's thoughts and feelings can impact their nervous, hormonal and immune systems. He shares examples of how this can manifest in fertility and pregnancy, and how integrated intelligence can be used to positively impact these areas. The discussion explores the idea of knowledge, intuition, and synchronicity as part of an integrated intelligence, and the potential power and limitations of these concepts in understanding oneself and the world. Dr. Anthony shares a personal experience of how synchronicity had helped him to understand a difficult relationship with his mother, and suggests that it can be a powerful tool, though it should not be relied upon as the primary source of understanding. The conversation delves into the idea of integrated intelligence as a form of enhanced intelligence that connects us to realms of understanding that are difficult to access through traditional means. It explores the practical applications of this concept in areas like fertility and pregnancy, as well as its potential to change the way we think about intelligence and our relationship with the world around us. **LISTENER CONTENT WARNING: This podcast contains a discussion of sensitive topics some listeners may find offensive.** Marcus Anthony Ray, author of Seven Years of Skin, took his life experiences and put them into print in a tell-all book. It is a gripping, honest portrayal of what happens when someone gets everything they want seemingly without consequences. His journey as a male exotic dancer began in his 20s as a way to make money to save his parents' house from foreclosure. Ray himself says that the “deep dark world of ‘anything goes' sucks you in” and the book highlights his journey into this world and how he was able to crawl back out, which many others weren't as lucky, and change paths, including becoming an award-winning motivational speaker. He says it was a difficult book to write but decided to publish it as a cautionary tale of when boundaries start moving too far without checks and balances. He is seeing similar patterns emerge in the world we live in and he wants to create awareness about the need for boundaries and accountability. Learn more about your ad choices. From entertainer at nine years old, to award winning male exotic dancer, to serialpreneur to RCMP Constable to motivational speaker and author – Marcus Anthony Ray prepares to soulfully bare all on Living Fearlessly with Lisa McDonald! A not-to-be-missed show guest on my C-Suite Radio / C-Suite Network!! At only age 9, Marcus Anthony Ray launched his career as an entertainer singing and playing his guitar, touring Canada with major groups even before his 12th. birthday. Sweet success came at 16 when he accidentally stumbled into the lucrative world of MALE MODELLING which quickly progressed to the wild world of Male Exotic Dancing, including many prestigious awards such as MR NUDE NORTH AMERICA while he danced his way across Canada and the United States. By the age of 28 Marcus realized he was truly an entrepreneur at heart and he left his dancing career to purchase 2 businesses, a Male Stripping Agency and the Katz Klub in 1988 (“Every dog has his day, but the nights belong to Katz.”) Being physically savvy, Marcus sold his businesses and opened his first Powerhouse Gym in Canada and soon afterwards was runner-up in the Okanagan Body Building Championship. Always on the lookout for ways to improve himself, Marcus’ fascination with law enforcement prompted him to join the Special Constables Force of the RCMP in 1992, but when he broke his back when hit by a car during a chase on his mountain bike, the lure of entrepreneurial flair found him creating a new line of rustic home furnishings. His 1998 “Pebblecreek” manufacturing company housed under 20,000 sq. ft. of factory saw spectacular growth to 10 retail stores by 2006, and one of British Columbia’s most successful companies, well-known all the way across Canada. “In 2008 I was hit by the humbling hammer,” says Ray, “It was a year of re-evaluation for me when my entire business empire was about to be crushed!” Keeping up his stage appearances became too costly and his vision of success began to fade. House flipping was the natural progression since he still owned a factory suitable to allow the customizing of homes for his customers for some time before years of struggling took its toll and he bravely decided to embrace the situation and let the curtain close on part of his life. That, for Marcus heralded a new beginning, not an end! After being asked to give a small presentation about his history as an entrepreneur at a university in Vancouver, BC, he was invited to speak at the City Hall of Surrey to a group of public speakers. A new avenue of entrepreneurial spirit opened up to him in 2016 when he was approached afterwards by a world-renowned stage speaker who encouraged him to pursue a new career as a motivational speaker. The results came quickly – Marcus was awarded with the British Columbia’s 2017 Toastmasters District Rookie of the Year and in April 2018 the champion of British Columbia District and went on to become an International Award Winner. Concurrently, he has published his first book; “Seven Years of Skin”, encompassing his personal story about his 7 years as Mr. Nude North America. Armed with a series of motivational and inspirational presentations and humourous keynotes on How To be Yourself and Get Away with it, The Life Equation, The Art of Being You and his most popular, The Naked Truth. Marcus’ messages, unique delivery, as well as his humour have taken the Speaker World by Storm and stem from his core belief – “You Only Fail When You Lose the Will to Succeed.” Uplifting you to fear less and to live more! #Grateful #Radio #Podcasts #CSuiteRadio #CSuiteNetwork #CTRN #HaltonHonda #Forever #AHAthat #VRRMediaProductions #CrackingTheRichCode #BrittVentures #JimBritt #KevinHarrington #GoldsmithStakeholderCenteredCoaching #Entrepreneurs #LivingFearlessly https://livingfearlesslywithlisa.com/event/the-naked-truth-with-marcus-anthony-ray/ Learn more about your ad choices. Black Citymakers revisits the Black Seventh Ward, documenting a century of banking and tenement collapses, housing activism, black-led anti-urban renewal mobilization, and post-Civil Rights political change from the perspective of the Black Seventh Warders. Drawing on historical, political, and sociological research, Marcus Hunter argues that black Philadelphians were by no means mere casualties of the large scale social and political changes that altered urban dynamics across the nation after World War II. Instead, Hunter shows that black Americans framed their own understandings of urban social change, forging dynamic inter- and intra-racial alliances that allowed them to shape their own migration from the old Black Seventh Ward to emergent black urban enclaves throughout Philadelphia. These Philadelphians were not victims forced from their homes - they were citymakers and agents of urban change. Marcus Anthony Hunter is Assistant Professor of Sociology, University of California, Los Angeles.
