Zijn zoon Robert is samen met nieuwslezer Malou Petter en liefhebber Eppo van Nispen tot Sevenaer te gast.    En we vieren de filmmuziek van legende Henny Vrienten. Dat doen we met filmproducent Maria Peters, componist Dick Bakker én het Dick Bakker Orchestra. 

Antonia Brico war die erste Frau, die das Dirigentenpult eroberte. Der Roman «Die Dirigentin» beschreibt ihre Karriere. Antonia Brico wurde vor 120 Jahren, am 26. Juni 1902, in Holland geboren. Die meiste Zeit ihrer Kindheit verbringt sie bei Pflegeeltern in den USA. Dort besucht sie unter anderem die Konzerte des örtlichen Blasorchesters. Bald wächst der Wunsch: Sie will Dirigentin werden. Aber zu ihrer Zeit ist das eigentlich ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Doch Antonia Brico gibt nicht auf und geht ihren Weg. Obwohl ihr der ganz grosse Durchbruch verwehrt bleibt, kann sie einige Erfolge feiern: Sie dirigierte beispielsweise als erste Frau die Berliner Philharmoniker. Zudem gründete sie 1934 ein eigenes Orchester, welches ausschliesslich aus Musikerinnen bestand. Das Buch «Die Dirigentin» von Maria Peters beschreibt Antonia Bricos steinigen Weg an das Dirigentenpult. Das Buch ist keine Biografie, sondern ein Roman. Er hält sich an Fakten aus dem Leben von Antonia Brico, enthält aber auch fiktive Handlungsstränge. Maria Peters Roman «Die Dirigentin» ist im Atlantik Verlag erschienen.
