Send us a textJamie Alcroft (previously part of popular comedy team of "Mack & Jamie" and TV's "Comedy Break") has done it again! About 18 months ago we did an interview where Jamie was trying to set up an Organ Donor "Thank-you" program at comedy clubs. The "Comedy & Magic Club" in Hermosa Beach was the first supporter. BUT now the "Levity Live" company and all the "Improvisation" comedy clubs around the country are offering Free Admittance to shows each month to peopl who signed up as Organ Donors....an amazing program!Jamie Alcroft, a comedian known for his work as part of the comedy duo Mac and Jamie, and for hosting the TV show "Comedy Break", is on a mission to promote organ donation through his Laughs for Life program. Inspired by his own heart transplant experience, Alcroft launched this initiative to offer free comedy shows to organ donors, thereby raising awareness and encouraging more individuals to register as donors. The program, which has already been successful in 12 comedy clubs nationwide, including the Comedy Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, aims to expand further, incorporating music venues as well. By collaborating with renowned figures like comedian Alonzo Bowden and organizations such as Levity Live, Alcroft hopes to spread the message of organ donation while bringing laughter and gratitude to those who support this invaluable cause.(00:01:00) Comedy Shows Promoting Organ Donation Initiative(00:03:39) Laughter Inspires Organ Donation Awareness Movement(00:04:32) Laughs for Life: Comedy Promoting Organ DonationSupport the showWebsite: Standup Comedy Podcast Network.com www.StandupComedyPodcastNetwork.com Free APP on all Apple & Android phones....check it out, podcast, jokes, blogs, and More!"NEW" Video Podcast: Tag Team Talent Podcast on Spotify & YouTube See your favorite comics and other performers...Fun! Taking money at the foosball table is to be expected from the daughter of an International Yo-Yo Champion and a Professional Foosball player. Oh, and she too is a World Champion foosball player. Kelsey Cook is right in the midst of "The Hustler Tour," on which she is headlining forty cities across the United States. Kelsey is a paid regular at The Comedy Cellar, The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and the Comedy and Magic Club. Earl Skakel is a working comedian who's been at it since the late nineties, a paid regular at The World-Famous Comedy Store, has appeared on Comedy Central's Roast Battle, appears as the voice of Barry Jelly on the Adult Swim series, The Jellies, created by Tyler the Creator, and hosts Inappropriate Earl which you can listen to wherever you get your podcasts. These two are absolute fire and I couldn't have bene for thrilled to get them in the same room. One of the oldest and most mysterious comedy clubs in LA is the revered Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. Alternatively, one of the newest and yet also, incredibly mysterious comedy clubs is The Stand Up Comedy Club in Bellflower, CA. They exist on either extreme of LA County and one man books both of them, Richard Barrett. We talk to Richard about how exactly he pulls that off and what goes into bringing stand-up to two very different cities as well as giving deserving comics as much work as he can. Danny manages to persuade the rest of Magic Club into coming to his possum-centric college audition show on Halloween, but when the Alterran Monster shows up out of nowhere, things get... complicated. Danny's thoughts, grappling with the pressure to make crucial life decisions, muddle his show and his work with Alterra. He tries to get a change of perspective, but it only ends up complicating matters further. Can Magic Club help Danny find himself?
Fresh off of a failed Homecoming heist to catch the monster, Magic Club is left to regroup and answer some of their ongoing dilemmas, like whether or not Peyton is officially a member of magic club, and what they will do about the monster going forward. With Mr. Shepherd leaving town on teachers' conference trip, Magic Club will have to fend for themselves and find their own answers to these problems. Such an ordeal will mean that the tape that documents all of their actions and thoughts will need to sufficiently thorough. Unfortunately, Danny is on the tape recorder this week.
Peyton West already has a lot on her plate. School, her social life, and of course navigating the many sports she plays, and with the Homecoming volleyball game just around the corner, she couldn't afford to have any distractions. Unfortunately, Avery and the rest of the new Magic Club are a bit of a distraction. With the discovery of an Alterran monster lurking around, Peyton will have to decide whether or not she still wants no part of Terra Altera, or if it is too important to not step in and lend a hand.
It's day two of the new Magic Club's exploration into Terra Altera, also known as Alterra, and they quickly begin to discover and hone newfound magic abilities. But not Harper. With a mind more of metal and wheels than magic and mysticism, Harper struggles to discover her power. Meanwhile, the group realizes a strange force is roaming around the city of Helmont, stealing any personal belonging that relates to Julie.

On the show, we will discuss the importance of embracing all of your God-given gifts and how to focus yourself for success as an artist even when you are working a 9-5. ABOUT ANGEL: Angel Gaines began her comedy career at a college talent show. She signed up to sing a song, but fear wouldn't let her sing, so in her brilliance, she told the emcee to introduce her as a comedian. That ideas was bound to work because in the early 90's, most comedians were boo'd before they could say a word, and Angel thought that would be her ticket to quit the show! Wrong! The Emcee encouraged the crowd to give her a chance and behold a comic was born! From that moment, Angel Gaines continues to shine on stages both nationally and internationally! She has performed as a feature comic with Mo'Nique, George Wallace, and many others! Angel is a crowd favorite at Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, and is certainly a home grown comic from The Comedy Union in Los Angeles, CA. Her daring honesty and clean humor combines to create the perfect show! Angel performances are her ministry and she spreads nothing but joy to her audiences! Her comedy talents reach far beyond performing standup, she uses her talents as an amazing sitcom warm-up! Angel was delighted to be chosen to hype and guide the live studio audience for Disney's Hit Show, Raven's Home! She is a host, emcee and engaging podcast guest! Angel has appeared on shows with Daphnique Springs, Earthquake for Hartbeat Entertainment Sirius radio, and Tavin Smiley Show on NPR.Angel was a featured comic at the prestigious JUST FOR LAUGHS Comedy Festival in Montreal! She performed three nights at this dynamic festival and sharing stages with Comedian Lil Rel and Kevin Hart's LOL Live from Montreal production. Angel has accompanied many all-star comedy lineups and is currently performing at colleges and clubs all across the country. You've been listening to us for several episodes, it's about time you knew who we were. We'll start with Pam. Pam Downing grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, which is so small that they had shirts made in high school that said they really do exist. But this small-town girl didn't stay that way for long. She attended Virginia Tech and then moved to Los Angeles, California directly after college. She fell in love with comedy when she worked at the Comedy and Magic Club, and found herself in front of the mic on several instances. Eventually she moved back to Virginia, living in Fredericksburg, then Richmond. She became a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Elite in Fredericksburg, where she found a home.

How to BUILD a new version of masculinity that makes sense in the modern world. My guest this week is Spencer Brown, amongst lots of things he's the author of "The Rebuilding of Tom Cooper" and "The Lockdown Diary of Tom Cooper". In this episode we explore how exactly to build a new type of masculinity plus building a life around our talents. Spencer Brown started life as a stand-up. He cut his teeth doing sketches with the Cambridge Footlights, and since then he’s performed everywhere from London’s Comedy Store to LA’s Comedy and Magic Club and UCB Theatre, as well as appearing internationally as far afield as Slovenia and Mumbai. Stand Up then led to presenting and acting. Spencer also writes, both screenplays and novels. His debut novel The Rebuilding of Tom Cooper (‘a joy-seeking missile’ Richard Ayoade, ‘Philip Roth meets Cold Feet’ Helen Lederer) was out last year and became a Kindle top 5 bestseller, and the stand-alone sequel The Lockdown Diary of Tom Cooper (‘so very funny’ Jenny Colgan) came out this November to a fantastic reception. To pay the bills, Spencer also works as a freelance creative director for advertising firms and voice over artist.

He did The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, who was already a fan of his, starred in the ABC sitcom Out of The Blue, where he also guested on Happy Days and Robin Williams kicked off his sitcom. He became closeasthis with Jay Leno, becoming his go-to guy, which landed him a gig on The Tonight Show, working with Jay and booking the comedians, becoming the power broker of TV funny. Michael Jr. got his start as a comedian when George Wallace took him to the legendary Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. The club’s owner slipped the unknown comic onstage to perform; and a week later, Michael Jr. was performing at the “Just for Laughs” comedy festival in Montreal. Michael Jr. has performed on The Tonight Show, The Late, Late Show, Oprah, Jimmy Kimmel Live Comedy Central, The Tom Joyner Show, The Bob and Tom Show TV One, Bryon Allen’s Comic Unleashed, BET’s ComicView, SiTV, CNN, DayBreak USA and ComedyTV. Here @adam_bush chats with Michael Jr. about "giving" laughs and why a joke is A + B + 3. [ About Pete and Penelope Podcast] This is a podcast for storytellers. Each episode @adam_bush interviews a storyteller in the industries of television, film or literature. Why is it called The Pete and Penelope Podcast? A couple of years ago, Adam and his pal Stephen began creating a television show for preschoolers called Pete and Penelope. To coincide with the creation of the show, they started a blog to let other people passionate about storytelling enjoy the journey with them. The Pete and Penelope Podcast is just another way for Adam and Stephen to give back to those who have been such a support. [ About Pete and Penelope ] Pete and Penelope is an educational, puppet, television series for preschoolers starring our two favorite siblings with a taste for adventure and a wonderful imagination. These crazy kids spend their days in the ultimate treehouse, complete with rope swings, secret passage ways, trap doors and so much more. To add to the fun, every time they step inside, the treehouse comes alive with a host of unlikely, wonderful characters. While there are great educational shows that focus on kids' IQ, this series focuses on their EQ, or emotional quotient, helping kids develop their emotions and social skills. Pete and Penelope is currently being prepared to pitch to networks and producers. Visit PeteAndPenelope.tv to stay up to date, or visit Facebook, Instagram & Twitter @PeteAndPenelope.

The new theme song is by . It is adorable, fun to sing and fantastic. and had the longest conversation, before this, at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach two weeks ago. They learned that they were Kennedy dorks. And here they are REALLY talking about the Kennedys. It was fascinating and quite perfect for TDF. They are also hilarious and you should see them do standup out there. Notes on this show: 1. The picture on this show is of Rosemary Kennedy. This photo is mentioned on the show. I could not find a workable family tree image in the heartbeat I looked if you want to "play along." 2. John Winthrop and Anne Hutchinson are the Puritans that I refer to - not by name - that are the ancestors of John Kerry and George W. Bush. 3. Around minute 102:00 Laurie Kilmartin announces her new job!! First place to be announced! (except to loved ones I assume). 4. Right after that I run out of memory on my flash card. So... min 104:00 ish... smash cut to us wrapping it up. I will buy a larger one... and... 5. The show ends with me wandering in my mind about things and a reprise of Mexican Hat Dance by by request. Thanks for listening! Jackie P.S. - has a free APP for you if you have a nice phone and want to listen to TDF on it... Review the show on iTunes and maybe someone over there will care... I know I will :) My websites are and and my standup calendar is on my
