Le projet de construction d'une 3eme ligne de tramway dans l'agglomération dijonnaise a été présenté ce vendredi matin par François Rebsamen, président de Dijon métropole. Après une période de concertation, les travaux devraient commencer en 2028 pour s'achever en 2030. Cette 3eme ligne partira du centre commercial « les portes du sud » à Chenôve. Elle remontera en direction de la place du 1er mai (le long de la ligne T2), elle desservira ensuite le quartier de la place Wilson et le quartier des facs, pour se terminer dans la zone d'activité Cap nord (Plan ci-dessous avec le tracé de cette 3eme ligne en violet).Ecoutez également ci-dessous notre interview de François Rebsamen :

À Maurice, le tramway introduit en 2020 est devenu un gouffre financier. Baptisé Metro Express, ce nouveau mode de transport en commun est destiné à désengorger le trafic entre les villes. Mais il accuse un déficit annuel de 300 millions de roupies, l'équivalent de 6 millions d'euros. Le nouveau gouvernement, en poste depuis novembre 2024, réclame des comptes et veut stopper l'hémorragie financière d'un projet qui plombe lourdement les finances publiques. De notre correspondant à Port-Louis,Présenté comme l'un des plus grands chantiers jamais entrepris à Maurice, Metro Express est devenu, selon le nouveau gouvernement installé en novembre, un gouffre financier insoutenable. Dans une déclaration à l'Assemblée nationale, le Premier ministre, Navin Ramgoolam, a placé le réseau ferroviaire en tête des sociétés étatiques déficitaires et a estimé qu'il était insolvable : « Metro Express est incapable de rembourser sa dette, un emprunt de 16 milliards de roupies (l'équivalent de 330 millions d'euros, NDLR) contracté auprès de l'Inde. »45 000 voyageurs par jourOpérationnel depuis janvier 2020, Metro Express relie les cinq villes de Maurice sur 30 kilomètres. Ses 18 trams desservent 21 stations, de Port-Louis à Curepipe. Environ 45 000 voyageurs, soit un tiers des usagers urbains, utilisent quotidiennement ce mode de transport apprécié pour son confort et sa rapidité.Cependant, sa rentabilité pose un sérieux problème. « Les coûts des opérations sont largement supérieurs aux revenus, déplore le ministre des Transports, Osman Mahomed. Je travaille sur un plan pour assainir le lourd impact de Metro Express Ltd sur les finances publiques. On ne peut pas ad infinitum faire de sorte que la compagnie soit financée par des fonds publics. »Metro Express dessert les zones les plus stratégiques du territoire, notamment les cinq villes du pays, ainsi que le technopole d'Ébène et la cité universitaire de Réduit. Selon la directrice générale au ministère des Transports, un compromis doit être trouvé. « Ce nouveau mode de transport a fidélisé de nombreux voyageurs à Maurice, notamment des voyageurs urbains, souligne Moheenee Nathoo. Il faudra continuer à offrir le même service, 45 000 voyageurs par jour, sans que cela impacte le coût des opérations. Nous mobilisons nos ressources au niveau de Metro Express Ltd afin de chercher à rendre le service rentable et de peser moins sur le budget national. C'est très important. »Vers une augmentation du prix du ticket ?Afin de rationaliser le service, le gouvernement envisage plusieurs mesures : une augmentation du prix du ticket – qui vaut en moyenne moins d'un euro en ce moment –, une révision des conditions de gratuité du service pour les seniors et les étudiants, ainsi qu'un report des prochains développements.Face aux critiques concernant le déficit du projet, les anciens administrateurs de Metro Express défendent un projet stratégique avec des bénéfices économiques, sociaux et environnementaux à long terme.À lire aussiLe téléphérique urbain, une solution qui monte

Artist and curator Amilcar Packer unpacks ideas of decolonisation and anti-colonialism in education, thinking through the works of Ailton Krenak, a leading activist in the Brazilian indigenous movement. Born in Santiago de Chile, and based in São Paulo, Brazil since the 1980s, artist and curator Amilcar Packer locates his life and work ‘between' the Pacific and Atlantic. An organiser and participant in Episode 11: To End The World As We Know It, five days of revolutionary art, discussions and performances at Tramway in Glasgow, run by Edinburgh-based collective, Arika, he explains the personal connections between South America and Scotland. Amilcar shares the work of Ailton Krenak, a leading anti-colonial activist in the Brazilian indigenous movement, who joins the programme along with transnational thinkers like Denise Ferreira Da Silva, Geni Núñez, and Françoise Vergès. We discuss his practice in popular culture, including literature and radio, and environmental activism, ‘one of the knots in a net' of entangled liberation movements. Drawing on these contemporary thinkers, Amilcar talks about time as a colonial, imperial, and capitalist construct. We consider the temporal othering of indigenous and aboriginal identities in different contexts, from the reclamation of the Americas as Turtle Island, to Karrabing Film Collective from Arson Bay, Darwin, Australia, and their presentation of The Ancestral Present - connecting with Ailton's 2022 book, Ancestral Futures. Challenging the monoculture of Western/European thought - and simplistic understandings of religion and spirituality, sexuality, and gender, which often lack relevance or utility with respect to indigenous worldviews.- Amilcar instead talks about cosmology. We discuss the ‘human archive' of violence and brutality, and ongoing conflicts in Gaza, Palestine, and over the definition of land rights. Amilcar shares where assimilation, making indigenous people Brazilians, has been used to ensure indigenous people lose their relations with their land, which makes it easier to dispossess. We consider whether the decolonisation of institutions like museums or universities is possible, and consider a plurality of approaches to study, learning, and education. Referencing thinkers like Fred Moten, Stefano Harney, we discuss the importance of multiplicity - of constructing and realising other ways of being with the world and each other. Named after the radical painter JMW Turner, the Turner Prize was set up in 1984 to celebrate British Contemporary Artists.   On Tuesday 24 September 2024 Tate Britain unveiled the work of the four artists who have been shortlisted for this year's prize: Pio Abad, Jasleen Kaur, Claudette Johnson and Delaine Le Bas. At the press view for the Turner Prize 2024 exhibition RNIB Connect Radio's Toby Davey caught up with one of the Curator's of the exhibition Amy Emmerson Martin, Assistant Curator, Contemporary British Art at Tate Britain to firstly find out a bit more about the history and background to the Turner Prize to then an introduction to each of the four shortlisted Artists along with an overview of their work that impressed the Turner Prize panel which is on display at Tate Britain.   The winner of the Turner Prize 2024 will be announced on 3 December and the exhibition of the four shortlisted Artists work continues at Tate Britain until 16 February 2025. About the four shortlisted Artists: Pio Abad presents a restaging of his nominated exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, which explores cultural loss and colonial histories. Featuring drawings, sculptures and museum artefacts, Abad brings together in-depth research and collaboration to highlight overlooked histories and connections to everyday life, often from the perspective of his Filipino heritage. Newly added works include Kiss the Hand You Cannot Bite 2019, which reimagines an Imelda Marcos bracelet as a three-metre concrete sculpture, are shown alongside works like I am singing a song that can only be borne after losing a country 2023, a drawing that turns the underside of Powhatan's Mantle - a Native American robe in the Ashmolean's collection - into an imagined map of colonised lands. Jasleen Kaur presents works from her nominated exhibition at Tramway, Glasgow. Rethinking tradition, Kaur creates sculptures from gathered and remade objects, each animated through an immersive sound composition. Items including family photos, a harmonium, Axminster carpet and kinetic worship bells are orchestrated to convey the artist's upbringing in Glasgow. A central feature is music, which is used to explore both inherited and hidden histories. Yearnings 2023, is an improvised vocal soundscape of the artist's voice, which is layered over snippets of pop songs playing from the speakers of Sociomobile 2023, a vintage Ford Escort covered with a large doily crocheted from cotton and filling the space with Kaur's own musical memory. Delaine Le Bas presents a restaging of her nominated exhibition at the Secession, Vienna. For her Turner Prize presentation, the artist has transformed the gallery into a monumental immersive environment filled with painted fabrics, costume, film and sculpture. Presented across three chambers, the work addresses themes of death, loss and renewal, and draws on the rich cultural history of the Roma people and the artist's engagement with mythologies. Textile sculpture Marley 2023, for example, reimagines Dickens' ghostly eponymous character as a harbinger of chaos, welcoming the viewer to this carefully constructed and captivating world, whilst the film Incipit Vita Nova 2023, projected onto organdie fabric, transports the viewer deep into a dreamlike sequence, matching the fluidity and distortion of the mirrored walls around it. Claudette Johnson presents a series of works from her nominated exhibitions at The Courtauld Gallery, London and Ortuzar Projects, New York, alongside new works. Using pastels, gouache, oil and watercolour, Johnson creates striking figurative portraits of Black women and men, often depicting family and friends. Her works counter the marginalisation of Black people in Western art history, shifting perspectives and investing her portraits with a palpable sense of presence. Friends in Green + Red on Yellow 2023 represents a recent development in her practice of creating double portraits, whilst Pieta 2024 is one of the artist's first works on wood, made from pastel and oil on bark cloth. Welcome to season 4 of Art from the Outside! This episode we are thrilled to kick off the season with the artist Zadie Xa. Born in Vancouver in 1983 and now based in London, Zadie has developed an expansive practice that addresses the nature of diasporic identities, global histories, familial legacies and interspecies communication. Working across painting, sculpture, textile production, and performance, she draws upon her Korean heritage as she seeks to elevate narratives that have been erased or repressed by the West and occupying powers. Her work has been presented at venues around the world, such as the Whitechapel Gallery in London, Remai Modern, Saskatoon, Canada and Tramway, Glasgow, Scotland. In 2019, Zadie was invited to contribute to the performance program at the 58th Venice Biennale, which was also curated by Ralph Rugoff and Aaron Cezar - another Art from the Outside guest. In July Zadie opened the exhibition Nine Tailed Tall Tales: Trickster, Mongrel, Beast at Space K Seoul, South Korea.
