In this episode, Erika and Morgan share their experiences through the different seasons of life, including motherhood, and how embodying their own soul purpose has allowed them to help other women walk this path too. Morgan Day Cecil has a Master's Degree in Philosophy and has spent 20-years training in mind-body-spirit methodologies for healing and transformation, including yoga, breath work, trauma-release, hypnotherapy, deep feminine psychology, energy healing, contemplative Christianity, and Tantra. Self-reclamation is healing. With the images of womanhood that are carved in our collective and a shared wounded feminine history, often times women find themselves with a profound disconnection between their conscious and unconscious desires and goals. But the good news is that you are allowed to shed your identity and create a new one! You can reclaim the parts that have been deeply wounded, even if it was by other women, and start the process of healing, to show up in the world being who YOU want to be. Self-reclamation is brave work, our mothers didn't get a chance to do this, we are the front runners, so sharing the process can be really inspiring, and that's what you will find in this conversation. A new womanhood What you do for your soul and your healing is bigger than you. It begins in your heart and impacts the collective because we are connected to all women. When we understand this, we know it is safe to let other women do their own work, because together we are creating a new kind of womanhood, where each of us gets to embody their soul's purpose. "Step into our future self, the woman that we decide we are becoming. It doesn't matter what happened in the past, it doesn't matter our history or what we carry from our ancestors, we are conscious beings and we get to decide in this present moment who we want to become" [35:05] “Coming home to yourself is about learning to trust what lights you up and letting other women be on that journey too. We don't need to police each other, you can absolutely trust another woman with her journey of coming home to herself and what lights her up ” [49:40] "When you are connected to your soul and what she is here for, like, it doesn't matter what anyone says, there is such clarity and confidence that comes through that" [54:23] Let's connect! *TRIGGER WARNING* This episode contains brief conversation on rape and sexual trauma. Morgan likes radical honesty. She asks, "Are you living the epic life of the woman you were created to be? ...Or are you living the too-small life of the woman you were conditioned to be?" Without the language to process, she embodied a rape at 15 and took on the story “you are bad” which rooted itself in her psyche. “Shame is not my identity. It is not who I am.” The roots of shame grew branches and trunks in the form of beliefs that Morgan said dictated, “who I am and what's possible as a woman and that's what I had to get to the root of and free myself from.” It manifested as: Chronic Depression No desire to move To motivation for her life Overwhelmed with exhaustion …just thinking about being the woman of her dreams sent her into lethargy (I'll just sleep until I die!) - it was too overwhelming to make the leap from chronic depression to a free woman. The truth is: we store so much of our wounds in our body and getting free from that was a “homecoming” to her body. That is why she has such an interest in the concept of embodiment. The old belief was that she was bad and her body was a part of the problem. But if her body was a part of the problem, what could possibly be the solution? Her body isn't going anywhere! What if we just disconnect? Wouldn't that be easier? Often times, we don't want to be where the pain happens and so we disconnect from the source of the pain: the body. Now, Morgan realizes that she is separate from her body. “I think therefore I am.” It's been a journey from the head (consciousness) down through the honey pot (the body aka the subconscious). She used to think “I could get there from the mind alone” but she soon realized that she needed to heal her gaze and heal her relationship with her body (and the embodiment of her feelings) in order to really step into her power. Now, she believes in the possibility that all women everywhere can be reconciled with their own wholeness and brought back into their power by their own resources. Her greatest desire is to bring light to dark places and help women heal their own gaze and expand their capacity to love and be loved (...AND make A LOT of money!) _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Morgan shares with us a few interesting Past Life Regression hypnosis (PLR) experiences and the learnings she took from them. While she had interesting learnings from these experiences, she reminds us that we don't want to get lost in the past - we want to focus on the future. -_-_-_-_-_-_- Morgan Day Cecil has a Master's Degree in Philosophy and has spent 20-years training in mind-body-spirit methodologies for healing and transformation, including deep feminine psychology, breath work, tantric studies, trauma-release embodiment practices, hypnotherapy, nature-based wisdom schools and perennial spiritual disciplines, including contemplative Christianity. Morgan is the creator of the Feminine Wholeness Method ™ teaching women the technology of delight to wake from the old identity-trances and boldly embody their unique and brilliant soul. Morgan was a single mother when her healing journey began and was motivated to face her own sexual and spiritual trauma for the sake of her son. She was married in 2006 and her husband adopted her son in 2009. They had another child (a baby girl who's name, Emma, means wholeness) in 2012. Today on the Everything Belongs Podcast, Madison is in conversation with Morgan Day Cecil. Morgan is the creator of the Feminine Wholeness™ Method, a daily embodiment practice and holistic framework that helps women come home to their whole self—head, heart & honeypot. Twice a year she leads the Embody Academy, a feminine mastermind and supportive chrysalis for women who are ready for next-level self-expression and influence in life, business and love. Her clients get to enjoy becoming the women they’ve always desired to be- joyful, sexy, self-expressed, and free to go after their soulful ambitions, without the hang-up of what other people think. She leads with her own vulnerability, models what wholeness looks like (unapologetic womanhood and shame-free imperfection), and gives women the permission and the tools to come home to herself. In this episode, Madison and Morgan speak on feminine wholeness, true expression and reclaiming our inner sense of safety. This discussion is for anyone wanting to own more of their feminine in a way that welcomes its expression beyond the "shoulds" and shaming, and who desires to remother themselves back to delight, sexuality and a life of possibility.Listen in and find the full show notes here: http://madisonmorrigan.com/podcast-rss-feed/38Join the Everything Belongs Membership for Madison's personal shownotes, journal prompts for each episode and seasonal private workshops: https://www.madisonmorrigan.com/membershipGuest LinksSite: http://morgandaycecil.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/morgandaycecilBlog: http://morgandaycecil.com/blogFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/FeminineWholeness/Twitter: https://twitter.com/morgandaycecil

My guest this week is Masculine Wholeness Coach, Ron Cecil. We were introduced by our mutual friend and previous guest Darrell Wade of Black Men's Wellness. Ron was good enough to engage in an experiment that most of us white folks are very hesitant to engage in- talking about waking up to the racism that is in us, all around us, that we knowingly and unknowingly participate in. We wanted to model in this episode honesty, vulnerability, and owning the things we've done that we wish we could bury and not admit to. Ron embraces this conversation with transparency that all white folks trying to look at racism and live anti-racist should aspire to. We sat smack in to middle of the discomfort around having this conversation and tried to not get stuck there but move forward one step at a time. Did we do it all right? No. Did we try? Yes. Is there more work to do? Always. As always thank you for listening. If you have any suggestions for topics or guests email me here at angiefadel@gmail.com heading podcast. Men who were partnered with women on a journey of self-discovery, sexual healing, and feminine wholeness (aka: re-establishing their connection to self and divine feminine energy). The Punch Drunk Soul Podcast - Soul Alignment + Business Chats
Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! I'm your host Ali Daniel. Before we dive into today's episode, I want to explain my absence for the last few weeks! I didn't plan to pause the podcast episodes however...the last 2 weeks have just been absolutely nuts for me!! I had 40 women sign up for clarity sessions with me after my 4 Day Soul Aligned Biz challenge and I was booked back to back all day every day for pretty much 2 weeks to meet with these women. I ended up enrolling 22 of them into my accelerator program and another 6 in my self-study course! The past two weeks have been an insane adventure in my business and now that things are finally settling down back to normal, I have a chance to reconnect here with you guys! I am SO excited to lead these 22 women on the journey of their lives - this really is the beginning of their new lives and I can't wait to show them how to launch successful coaching businesses that align with their souls and transform the world, one person at a time. It's a beautiful process and I feel so incredibly honored and grateful to have this be my mission right now. Ok, so let's dive into today's episode! This episode I am joined by a very special guest, one of my own coaches (yes, I do have multiple coaches!), and her name is Morgan Day Cecil. Morgan is a feminine wholeness coach who helps women experience divine sexy energy in relationships, business and life so they can really find more pleasure, abundance and success in all aspects. I'm a testament to this first hand! I started working with Morgan back in December of last year, 2019 as part of my deeper mission to feel more present in my life, experience more joy and pleasure, and deepen my relationship. It wasn't a typical business investment like I'm used to, it was one for my own personal growth. At the same time, I knew that feeling more at home in my body, more present in the moment and experiencing more love and joy in my life could only lead to more business success too. A few short weeks after working with Morgan I actually signed my first $10K client which was a fun milestone for me! As you guys may now know, my income for this year is already more than it was for ALL of last year and it's only February! So that's insane. It just really goes to show that when you increase your attunement with your feminine energy, it's a blessing for all aspects of your life, not just your relationship, which I'm happy to report, is also thriving for me. I wanted to bring Morgan on because I just truly am in AWE with how comfortable she is being her fullest self. It's so incredibly refreshing and inspiring to see and I have learned so much from her about how to slow down and feel more pleasure. I am in love with how she shows up as her full authentic self as all her many various sides of herself. I think ultimately, that's why we're all here, right? What does it means to be whole, holy and sexy? As humans we have a full spectrum of emotions and that is a vital, fundamental part of this human experience. Morgan Day Cecil is a wife and mother and a woman in love with the messiness of being human. It was such a joy getting to chat with Morgan Day Cecil, a Feminine Wholeness expert who I have followed and looked to for wisdom for years now, and to get to benefit from all of the life-giving goodness that poured from her story and the words she shared during our conversation. A question I often ponder, and hear from other single women, is around sexuality and how to incorporate it or delight in it without the presence of another human. Morgan's definitions of romance and adventure had me "Amen-ing" like crazy, and I really believe the words in this episode will bring healing, wholeness, and freedom to every woman who listens. Integrated feminine wholeness coach Morgan Day Cecil's message is that God designed you to embrace your inner sexy, and you deserve to lean into it. We are new friends, and already her femininity has inspired me. I hope she will inspire you to embrace your womanhood and sexiness as well. We talk about owning your sexuality for you, and not another person. We explore a topic I never have discussed publicly yet: self-pleasure a.k.a. masturbation. How to Embrace Your Sexuality When women ask how to embrace their sexuality, they are asking the permission to find freedom. “We want a feeling of authenticity and freedom and wholeness in this area of life that sometimes seems scary and shameful.” The typical definition of ‘sex' is focused on the male experience. “I want to feel alive. I want to feel desired, loved, wanted.” Often, people see sex as the answer to these needs. Morgan recalls how her relationship with sex changed before and after becoming Christian and finding a deeper understanding of her sexuality. “I started experiencing my sexuality through sensuality.” Your Sexuality Is for You One of the biggest lies I believed was that my sexuality was for another person. But then I bought myself some La Perla lingerie for me, because I am worth being connected to my sexuality whether or not a man gets to experience that. Morgan went on a retreat in Rome and distinctly remembers bringing these women to buy lingerie for themselves. “It doesn't have to be about men. When that masculine energy comes in, we feel like we are in the seat of power. Not power over, but power that belongs to us because we are inhabiting our wholeness.” Too often, female sexuality is seen as dangerous and manipulative. “It's this divine dance of intimacy that we are invited to be a part of.” Coming to a deeper understanding your own sexuality is to become closer to God. “Start intentionally making love with nature.” Heartbreak to Healing Morgan found herself pregnant with the child of a man who wanted nothing to do with it. She reflects on the moments of loneliness in this time. Fear and anxiety led her to the hospital, but she left with a clearer vision for her life. “I empowered myself to do what I could from where I was at.” She was in the Cinderella mindset: “Somebody else has the power to give me a beautiful life.” Inviting God into the Desire Masturbation is one of the number thinsg Christian women ask us about. Intentional self-pleasuring can be a very sacred practice. Most people masturbate in a fantasy that is devoid of any real emotion. We talk about the slippery slope between the experiences women can have with self-pleasure. To avoid the wrong experiences, we have to ask ourselves, “What story preceded this desire? Was it a story where the theme is fear or love?” If self-pleasure seems like a big step for you, go at the pace you feel comfortable with. Maybe that means just being present in nature. This is your journey and you make all of the decisions. I am so grateful for Morgan and for this unexpected turn in our conversation that I hope will speak to your souls.
