Il lungo ponte del Primo Maggio si è trasformato in un incubo per chi si è messo in viaggio in auto, con colonne che hanno raggiunto i 14 chilometri, davanti al portale sud del San Gottardo, al momento del rientro verso nord. Uno scenario che si ripete puntuale, non appena si respira aria di vacanza. Innumerevoli le colonne lungo la “Via delle genti” e anche innumerevoli gli atti parlamentari che sono stati presentati in questi anni a Berna su questo tema. Tre di questi verranno discussi proprio oggi in una sessione speciale del solo Consiglio Nazionale. In aula sarà Uri a fare da traino, con un'iniziativa cantonale che chiede di introdurre nuove misure per rendere più “sostenibile” la gestione del traffico di transito. Diverse le proposte avanzate a questo scopo: l'apertura prolungata del passo del San Gottardo, l'introduzione di un pedaggio dinamico, la riservazione online del proprio passaggio all'interno della galleria oppure ancora la chiusura delle uscite autostradali, per impedire il congestionamento delle strade cantonali a causa del traffico parassitario. Allegedly, over 100 trees were illegally removed by a resident, and may owe around $9 million in fines. Nella sessione del Gran Consiglio ticinese, che si apre oggi a Bellinzona, i deputati devono trattare l'iniziativa parlamentare presentata dal Centro per rinunciare a 10 milioni di franchi di risparmi sui sussidi di cassa malati così come previsto nel preventivo 2025 del Cantone. Un preventivo passato anche con i voti del Centro, che ora fa marcia indietro tenendo conto di una migliore situazione finanziaria del Ticino. Ma anche se il Gran Consiglio dovesse dire no, confermando quanto è a preventivo, sappiamo già che il popolo potrà esprimersi sul tema, perché l'iniziativa del Centro si sovrappone ad un referendum promosso da sinistra e sindacati. Nobody wants to miss a concussion. Mind Mirror uses your cell phone to measure Pupillary Light Reaction or PLR. Glenn Bowers joins Ben Stephenson and Jeremy Jackson to discuss the new concussion tool. Artificial intelligence, mobile computing & pupillary light reflex (PLR) In 2022 Mind Mirror started because I was coaching my kids and missed a concussion with my own son. We saw an opportunity to take AI tech and pupillary light reflex to assess concussion risk within 30 seconds. Is Mindmirror used as an on-field assessment tool or a return-to-play tracking/monitoring system? Both, with the speed of the test and subjectivity taken out of the assessment, it can be a great tool for on-field assessments. It also provides an objective return-to-play measure providing clinicians with the ability to determine safe RTP without bias, subjectivity or dishonesty from patients. One study found that the PLR test isn't affected by exertion or emotions which can't be said about all of subjective tests commonly used for concussion testing.  Mind Mirror doesn't use baseline tests, so how are normative values collected? While baseline testing isn't required it is highly recommended.  Baseline testing for this model is extremely efficient, it only takes 7 seconds for each athlete to be tested and automatically stored in the system. Will be adding a roster system that can link the rosters with Healthy Roster, Rankone and other EMR software.  Could this help prevent lawsuits and protect athletic trainers when returning players with a possible brain injury? Is it lawfully sound? There is no single test to definitively determine if a brain injury has occured, we are more practically used as an objective test to determine if symptoms associated with a brain injury are present.  While most concussion testing is subjective we provide an objective measure.  What biomarkers are we testing? (like Sway tests balance, memory, and movement coordination) what makes the PLR test superior to these existing solutions?   Velocity of constriction Velocity of dilation The system calculates all 14 biomarkers and provides a probability score ranking them into 3 categories green, yellow, and red.  Green is less than 0.3 probability indicating the brain is likely healthy. Yellow is between 0.3 - 0.6 probability which is in the middle and requires further testing.   Red is above 0.6 and indicates there is a high chance that the patient has a concussion.  How was the AI software created? Iris, an old colleague from Italy had a cool idea and I knew that if we could figure out the technology this could be big.  We are already working with the U.S. military, collegiate, and high school settings. Le recenti elezioni in Germania ci hanno parlato anche della cosiddetta “5-Prozent Hürde”, una soglia minima di voti per poter accedere, come partito, all'assemblea federale tedesca. Un tema che fa discutere anche in Ticino, dove alcuni deputati del PLR mirano a introdurre una quota d'accesso simile per il Gran Consiglio, fissata al 4%. La loro proposta vuole in primo luogo ridurre la forte frammentazione delle forte politiche che al momento caratterizza il Parlamento ticinese. Dopo le elezioni di due anni fa sono infatti ben dodici i partiti che siedono a Palazzo delle Orsoline, nel 2007 erano soltanto sei. In una quindicina d'anni c'è dunque stato una moltiplicazione per due del loro numero, con una serie di piccoli partiti che se fosse introdotta una soglia di sbarramento rischierebbero di trovarsi esclusi dal Gran Consiglio. A loro dire questo quorum minimo metterebbe a rischio il dibattito democratico e priverebbe l'elettore di un'alternativa ai partiti tradizionali. E la Lega ha subito annunciato il referendum. 100 nouvelles places de crèches, par année, 515 pour les sans abris ou encore l'élaboration d'une nouvelle stratégie climat. Voilà les grands thèmes mis en avant par le conseil administratif de la Ville de Genève, lors de son bilan de législature, jeudi. Le conseiller municipal PLR, Kevin Schmid, a réagi à ce bilan, avec Béatrice Rul, à 7h30, sur Radio Lac.Réduction de la dette de 12,5% en cinq ans. Note de AA- attribué par la société de notation financière Standard & Poor's, preuve de la bonne gestion des deniers publics. Vous applaudissez des deux mains, Kevin Schmid…"Chaque année quasiment sur ces 5 ans de législature, la Ville de Genève a bénéficié de revenus extraordinaires essentiellement liés aux impacts de RFFA et de l'économie privée, qui a reversé des montants inattendus en fin d'année à Genève. Le Conseil administratif n'a pas mené une gestion rigoureuse, d'ailleurs la plupart des réformes qui ont été menées par la majorité de gauche du conseil administratif sont des réformes coûteuses qu'on les qualifie positivement ou négativement et c'est bel et bien les revenus extraordinaires qui ont permis de rembourser une partie de la dette sans quoi nous n'aurions pas pu le faire. Ajoutons à cela que la majorité de gauche du Conseil administratif a présenté un budget déficitaire avec plus d'une centaine de postes à nouveau. On parlait municipalisation des crèches puisque ça fait partie de ce bilan qui est proposé. On juge cela comme on le souhaite. Aujourd'hui on a un déficit de 1000 places en crèches en ville de Genève avec des parents et des enfants qui se retrouvent sans solution. La municipalisation des crèches coûtera des millions aux contribuables et on n'a toujours pas vu le bout de leur nez, de cette centaine de places supplémentaires par an. C'est-à-dire qu'on n'est pas à la hauteur des défis".Vous reprochez à un conseil administratif de gauche d'avoir mené une politique...de gauche!"La réalité c'est qu'aujourd'hui, nous n'avons pas les moyens opérationnels de faire en sorte que les gens vivent dans des conditions dignes dans les immeubles qui appartiennent, à la ville de Genève. Il y a une différence énorme entre ce qu'on veut bien nous communiquer dans ce bilan de législature, et ce que la majorité de gauche du conseil administratif a pu faire. Il y a des bonnes politiques de gauche et la politique de gauche qui a été menée ici est une politique de chicanerie et une politique inefficace et coûteuse. Regardez l'ordre dans lequel on nous présente les choses dans ce communiqué de presse. Numéro 1, priorité de ce conseil administratif de gauche, lutte contre les discriminations LGBTQ ou liées à l'origine. C'est évidemment important de lutter contre les discriminations, mais on a une Confédération, on a des cantons et ici nous sommes dans une commune. Nous sommes, et c'est bon de le rappeler, dans une commune qui passe une grande partie de l'année, à faire du déclamatoire sur les grandes questions du monde. Moi je voudrais qu'on s'occupe un petit peu des gens ici qui nous disent qu'ils ont besoin de logements salubres, de pouvoir vivre de leur activité commerciale sans chicanerie, de se déplacer lorsqu'ils n'ont pas le choix que de prendre une voiture pour aller en dehors de Genève, et c'est précisément ceux-là qui pendant 5 ans ont été chicanés. Priorité numéro 2, les fameuses places de crèche et 3 millions, et c'est seulement en 5e position que la sécurité, le sport et l'espace public de la conseillère administrative de centre droit dont je vous parlais, intervient"Avec IA.

On today's episode of the podcast I'm joined by guest Danielle Ryan, a content creator and YouTuber, to discuss what MRR is (and no, we're not talking about monthly recurring revenue this time). MRR stands for Master Resale Rights and refers to a product, typically a digital download or a course, that someone creates and assigns MRR to do that anyone who buys it has the right to resell it to their own audience. One of the original MRR courses was "The Digital Roadmap," a lengthy course priced at $497 USD and the premise was to teach you how to leverage digital marketing to sell digital products in your business. When talking about MRR we should also talk about PLR, Private Label Rights, which is essentially white labeling. With MRR you don't have to change or rebrand anything, you can just resell it. When reselling an MRR product, the original creator does not receive commission, so they really need to capitalize on being first to market in order to maximize their profit on the MRR products. What ended up happening with this digital marketing course is that instead of people learning from the content, often people buy it, position themselves as the expert and then resell it without learning the skills to back up their claims. How can you coach someone on something you've never done yourself or previously helped someone achieve? Eventually, the reselling of an MRR product will come to an end with someone not making their investment back. This begs the question from people, Is MRR a pyramid scheme? From the traditional definition of participating in sales, MRR is not a pyramid scheme because the people at the top are not benefiting from the people at the bottom, but Danielle would argue it's very pyramid shaped because it gets saturated and harder for the people on the bottom to sell it. This has begun to pose a problem for some course creators, where people are buying their course and reselling it because they think it has MRR when it doesn't. To protect yourself and your digital products from resale, you'll want to add a paragraph to your contract and terms of agreement when buying your course that it does not grant them Master Resale Rights. This contract clause is available inside our Contract Club and it provides extra protection since they can't sell your product anyway since you didn't grant them copyright.
