Welcome to episode 4 of our Mini-Series, Patriarchy Detox Explained. In this episode, I talk about soul growth and expansion, and why honoring our intentions and realizing our goals towards a higher version of ourselves, isn't as simple as willing and pushing our way through. We'll talk about how trauma serves to keep us safe (and small), where that trauma comes from, where it lives, and how to shift it. Disclaimer: while I'm talking about trauma, my shared experience and perspective on trauma is not meant to replace professional mental health or medical advice. In the episode, I make reference to the following (all highly recommended reading for anyone interested in exploring trauma and Patriarchy Stress Disorder further): Dr. Valerie Rein's Patriarchy Stress Disorder: The Invisible Inner Barrier to Women's Happiness and Fulfillment Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk's book: The Body Keeps The Score: Brain, Mind and Body in the Healing of Trauma In this episode, I also invite soul-led sensitive mum entrepreneurs to join me in my upcoming signature zero cost training: How Sensitive Witchy Mums Can Make $2500 per month in their Soul-Led Business, Without Missing Pickups or School Plays which will take place under the power of the Full Moon on January 6 at 11am Eastern. In this training, I'll walk you through: — A simple mum-friendly business model for sensitive souls ready to generate consistent scalable $2.5K/ months, without missing out on pickups or school plays — Even if you don't believe that you have what it takes, how you can reach a consistent $2.5K/ month revenue in a way that feels easeful and natural — How to embrace soulpreneurship in a way that makes you a more present mama (and even better role model) for your littles. As you know by now, my mission centers around inspiring and teaching sensitive witchy women how to detoxify their internalized patriarchy so that they can stop living their life from a place of obligation and external definitions of what it is to be a good mother, wife and woman. And instead, start to redefine and then create a new way of being and doing life, motherhood, partnership and entrepreneurship. Our family has had a week. My wallet was stolen. My daughter got an ear infection. We tried and took a break from potty training. Recently, I got sick for the first time in YEARS – a head cold strong enough that I rescheduled some podcast interviews to give myself some rest. Our society doesn't support time for rest and healing from illness; there's this belief instilled in us that we must power through anyway. But it's important to remember where these “beliefs” come from – personal lenses, sure, but also communal, generational lenses – and that we are only human. So this episode is for the moms who feel they must “do it all” – and to let them know it's OKAY to rest. In fact, resting might be the most productive thing they do today.Resources & LinksSome books I reference in this episode: Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Perez and Patriarchy Stress Disorder: The Invisible Inner Barrier Between Women's Happiness and Fulfillment by Valerie Rein.Learn more about Project: Mom and follow us on Instagram at @projectmompodcast.Do you want to share your motherhood journey on the podcast? I'm so excited to share with you episode 22 of the WitchHunt podcast: “Yo no soy una bruja” — a conversation with plant-witch, kitchen-witch and a Spanish Witch's granddaughter, Angela Accomando. Ever wonder what it might have been like to be raised by a Witchy grandma? Well grab your headset and get ready to hear some hilariously witchy speaking-to-the-dead-at-family-dinner-parties stories from our beloved New York plant witch, Angela Accomando. Angela was raised in New York City by her Spanish grandmother — a clandestine witch who, while insisting on secrecy more broadly, practiced healing magic with her family and all those who asked. Angela denied her feminine witchy side until she began to unravel how the patriarchy manifested inside of her through her work with Dr. Valerie Rein. It was only after understanding Patriarchy Stress Disorder (amazon.ca link to book here) that she allowed herself to embrace the magic she grew up with. This episode offers a lot of laughs as Angela takes us into her childhood through story. It also speaks to the truth around how patriarchy-induced trauma has kept, and continues to keep women from honoring their witchy side for thousands of years. It also highlights how women of past generations have navigated the patriarchy in a way that keeps them safe, without denying their truth and power. A witchy episode for this witchy season — Enjoy! x Alex P.S. This summer wasn't the restful break I thought it would be, but I learned many valuable lessons that I'd like to share. These are lessons that will help you with parenting and mom burnout. I sent my kids away this summer and was looking forward to some quality time-off from "momming." What I experienced was a shift from in-person to long-distance momming, as I dealt with two of my kids struggling while away from home. Coincidentally, I was reading a book called The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting Up a Generation for Failure by Jonathan Haidt & Greg Lukianoff. This book addresses many topics parents need to know about the kids of "Gen Z/I-Gen." I only scratch the surface of the information in the book in this episode; there is so much more. I recommend you read the book yourself, it's well worth the time. One concept that I found relevant to my summer experience was new to me: "Safetyism." The authors of the book define safetyism as a culture or belief system in which safety (which includes "emotional safety") has become a sacred value, which means that people become unwilling to make trade-offs demanded by other practical and moral concerns. It is through Safetyism that modern parents are perpetuating fragility in our kids and, ironically, making our kids less safe. In my opinion, the helicopter parenting, overparenting, etc. that goes hand in hand with Safetyism is doing something else: it's exhausting us and burning us out. In this episode I go over how I personally applied concepts from the book The Coddling of the American Mind to my kids over the summer. Summer is upon us and it's time to take the ultimate mom break. How? By sending your kids to camp. Preferably sleep away camp. I can't think of a better way to push the escape button on momming. We're talking up to 7 weeks without kids!!! In this episode I discuss my personal experience deciding to send my kids to sleep away camp. I address the mom guilt that many feel and recommend a book that helped me a lot: Homesick and Happy By: Michael Thompson, PhD To help even more with the mom guilt relating to outsourcing some momming, we discuss Chapter 15 of "Hunt, Gather, Parent" by Michaeleen Doucleff PhD to review how throughout history humans have turned to others to help raise their kids. This is not a one mom job. It takes a village. If you don't have a village to help you, camp is a great substitute. Finally, I announce a summer reading assignment: Patriarchy Stress Disorder by Valerie Rein, PhD I will be taking a break from the BMB podcast for July & August but will return in September when we will talk about Patriarchy Stress Disorder and how, as written on the cover, it is "the invisible barrier to women's happiness and fulfillment." After reading the book Patriarchy Stress Disorder by Dr. Valerie Rein, so much in my life made sense that had never made sense before. Things just clicked and the experience was truly transformational. And specifically in business, so much of what I saw in sales wasn't designed with women in mind. With that knowledge, I recently shared a quote during a retreat from the book and it shifted the entire retreat and the lives of the women there. It resonated strongly with every attendee and I knew I needed to chat with Dr. Valerie Rein.   Dr. Valerie Rein is a psychologist, women's mental health expert, and business consultant who has discovered Patriarchy Stress Disorder (PSD) and created the only science-backed system for helping women achieve their ultimate success, happiness, and fulfillment by healing the intergenerational trauma of oppression. She holds an EdM in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and a PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Her bestselling book, “Patriarchy Stress Disorder: The Invisible Inner Barrier to Women's Happiness and Fulfillment” has been heralded by Amazon reviewers as “the most important body of literary work of our modern times” and “perhaps the most important book of the century for women.” Dr. Valerie is most passionate about the intersections of deep inner work and business. She is a sought-after speaker at conferences and companies committed to diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and unlocking people's full potential.   In today's powerful conversation, Dr. Valerie shares her background and how she came to discover Patriarchy Stress Disorder. She describes studies that prove through science that there is more to it than “just stress,” and through these scientific breakthroughs, she shares what can be done. The icing on the cake is that through this work, Dr. Valerie shares that every aspect of her life is better than anything she could have even previously imagined and it be that way for you, too.   Show Notes: [3:21] - Dr. Valerie's personal development journey started early and was guided by the question, “What's wrong with me?” [5:01] - She was living the life of her dreams, but she kept getting a message that there was something different for her. [6:04] - In addition to working in her private practice, she was pouring everything she was earning into a new business. No matter how hard she worked, nothing changed. [7:01] - Dr. Valerie wound up in the hospital with symptoms of a stroke, but was determined to be “just stress.” [8:04] - Despite years of therapy and personal development, Dr. Valerie could not crack the invisible wall. [9:01] - For thousands of years, women were oppressed and Dr. Valerie discovered how trauma response can be inherited. [10:27] - Our subconscious still recognizes success and wealth as unsafe. [12:14] - Once Dr. Valerie understood what the problem was, she was able to take her new business from no money to six figures in a year. [14:40] - What is the Cherry Blossom study from her book. [16:14] - This study demonstrates how trauma response is transmitted through genetics. [17:26] - Through her work, you can rewire your subconscious and trauma adaptations. [18:53] - There were many trauma adaptations that Dr. Valerie was experiencing and holding her back but she had no idea they were there. [20:21] - Currently, every aspect of her life has overshot her limited imagination. [23:16] - Through the healing journey, you can create your life from a place of alignment. [24:46] - “Prison guards” can come in the form of Imposter Syndrome, critical negative thoughts, and distractions.  [25:32] - Stress is created and driven by unprocessed trauma. [28:02] - How much time do you spend on average engaged with your prison guards? [30:35] - These issues are not character flaws. It is a part of us and not our fault. [31:52] - We work so hard but more can be accomplished and with a lot more joy. [33:14] - Elyse shares an experience that demonstrates how her brain held her back. [35:10] - The theme of Dr. Valerie's book takes readers from “How much can I tolerate?” to “How good can it get?” [36:23] - There is a five step journey that Dr. Valerie describes. [37:40] - Once we reclaim our time and energy, we can dig even deeper. [39:49] - You can download the first chapter of her book for free, including the audiobook, on Dr. Valerie's website. Why do we focus on the negative experiences in our lives, even when there is so much good happening? The answer: it's a biological design in our nervous system to keep us safe. If you think about it, it makes sense that it was evolutionarily advantageous to remember where pain was found, whereas remembering where you encountered joy was less essential for survival. Nowadays, we fortunately don't often have to worry about literal survival like our ancestors did, but we still carry threats to our survival ALL the time without even realizing it.  As entrepreneurs, this has an enormous impact on our businesses! Of course, your mental health and emotional wellness play a huge role in your ability to get things done in your business and your life, while feeling joyful and on purpose.  But one sneaky thing most of us don't realize is that we tend to overly identify with our businesses and think that we ARE our business, and that our safety comes from our business (newsflash: we aren't and it doesn't!).  Learning how to feel safe in our bodies and heal from past experiences is ESSENTIAL. It's the root cause of what we need to get unstuck and start taking the steps to follow our dreams, and that's exactly what we're talking about today! My guest today is Dr. Elizabeth Cohen, a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience specializing in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders. Dr. Cohen has a particular expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has treated adults, adolescents and children with state-of-the-art CBT treatments.  The underlying goal of Dr. Cohen's practice is for clients to achieve synchronicity with the person they truly want to be.  Throughout her practice, Dr. Cohen has witnessed hundreds of clients break away from the fear, worry, and despair that had once defined them. She believes that it is a unique gift to be part of their journey towards a new, healthy and fulfilling definition of who they are.   What you'll learn in this episode: Big T and Little T trauma and how it affects all of us (even if you don't think it does!)–including how trauma impacts our businesses How to optimize your gratitude practice How to better balance your nervous system, and what flight, fight, or freeze looks like in our business lives How the known, even when it's bad, keeps us safe from the unknown how healing the trauma IN our bodies (not our minds) can help us feel safe and take the steps we need to follow our dreams Practical solutions for healing trauma in the body   Subscribe and Review Thanks so much for joining me this week. Vital Force

In this episode we discuss how resistance is showing up in our lives and in our bodies and how this can hinder us from our truth and growth. We discuss what resistance is, how we feel resistance in the physical body, the ability to notice resistance, and the difference between resistance and fear. We share our personal stories of connecting to parts of us that we have resisted to meet. We explore emotions and trauma that keeps us resistant to outside things in order to feel safe, the connection between our heart and mind, how we can begin to trust ourselves to embrace what shows up, and how we can use our resistance to expand. This episode is for anyone who may be feeling resistance or discomfort leaning into something new, for anyone that may feel unsafe to explore the emotions that come up when they do, and for anyone that wants to learn how resistance can be used to feel more empowered. Resources mentioned in this podcast: The book Patriarchy Stress Disorder by Valerie Rein visit https://drvalerie.com/Human Design visit www.paulajeffrey.com To connect, follow, and explore with us: Paula www.paulajeffrey.com On Instagram @healingwithapaula Kellie www.kelliemox.com On Instagram @kelliemox.homeopath Krista wwww.kristarivet.com On Instagram @kristarivethomeopathy

Get ready to shake up your beliefs and behaviors about gender as we dive deep into Patriarchy Stress Disorder (PSD). A phrase coined by Dr. Valerie Rein, author of “Patriarchy Stress Disorder: The Invisible Barrier to Women's Happiness and Fulfillment,” in this podcast episode you'll understand the problem with our patriarchal society and how we as women hold ourselves back due to society's “norms” of achievement and accomplishment. If you've ever held yourself back, not spoken up, experienced self-sabotage, felt uncomfortable with receiving pleasure, not asked for help when you know you needed it, you may be suffering from symptoms from living in oppressive patriarchy that has held women back from their true power for over a thousand years. What if breaking through your self-limiting beliefs was not even about YOU? What if it was because you have grown up in the environment of a patriarchal society? After all, you can't heal yourself in the same environment that got you sick, right? As we are seeing more and more shifting gender roles and understanding how generational beliefs are passed down and triggered biologically, how can women break through the patriarchal structure and reclaim their power as sovereign, Queens! She holds an EdM in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Do you feel like you're one failed launch away from your business not surviving?   Sadly, so many women's businesses are in ‘entrepreneurial poverty'. What does that mean exactly? Financial poverty: Some businesses are simply not bringing in enough income to support the women who run them. Even if a business is bringing in $50k, the owner may only be taking home $20 – $30k a year, which is not enough to sustain a family or future on. Time and energy poverty: Time and energy poverty go together in the sense that the more time you spend on your business, trying to get it off the ground, the more depleted your energy becomes.   The keys to overcoming entrepreneurial poverty?   That's exactly what we're covering in today's episode! You'll learn how to plan for your business to be an asset that creates consistent income–not something that you simply just operate and bootstrap.   My guest today, Racheal Cook, is an award-winning business strategist, host of the Promote Yourself to CEO podcast, and best-selling author who is on a mission to end entrepreneurial poverty for women. Over the last 10 years she has helped thousands of female entrepreneurs design predictably profitable businesses without the hustle and burnout that doing #allthethings inevitably accomplishes.   In fact, Racheal is a sought-after speaker on entrepreneurship, marketing, and productivity and has been featured by the US Chamber of Commerce, Forbes Coaching Council, Female Entrepreneur Association, and more. Her real passion, though, is supporting savvy, soulful women as they implement the strategy, systems, and support to uncomplicate their business so they can work less and live more.   What you'll learn in this episode:   Why women aren't making nearly as much money as men How to avoid burnout and build up your energy reserves The red flag to look for in your business that's blunting your growth What you need to know about team building and avoiding common mistakes What to do if you don't have any extra money to hire support   Subscribe and Review   Thanks so much for joining me this week. When I first heard the term “Patriarchy Stress Disorder,” I had a gestalt moment. In an instant, it seemed, I experienced a revelation of magnitude in which I could see the formerly invisible structure that I had existed within and that had impacted me for my entire life, but for which I had no name. Listen in as Dr. Valerie Rein exposes the system of oppression the majority of us have been impacted by, but few of us have a context or a name for. Hear for yourself why her work is being hailed as the most important work of our time. Dr. Valerie Rein has discovered Patriarchy Stress Disorder (PSD) and created the only science-backed system for helping women achieve their ultimate success, happiness, and fulfillment by healing the intergenerational trauma of oppression. She holds an EdM in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and a PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Her bestselling book, “Patriarchy Stress Disorder: The Invisible Inner Barrier to Women's Happiness and Fulfillment” has been heralded by Amazon reviewers as "the most important body of literary work of our modern times" and "perhaps the most important book of the century for women." Her cutting-edge programs have helped thousands of women shift from survival to thriving and master the game of "How good can it get?" in their work and personal lives. PATRIARCHY STRESS DISORDER (PSD) is generational collective trauma or oppression that women have experienced in the patriarchy for thousands and thousands of years. It manifests in multiple ways but ultimately creates an invisible barrier to women's ultimate success, happiness, and fulfillment. Most of us are socially conditioned to be “Good Girls,” “A Good Wife,” and “A Good Mother,” and as long as we live a life of compliance, we don't experience a lot of friction. Most women are not in touch with our desires; we simply follow the tracks laid down by the Patriarchy in terms of what roles we can fill and how we can live. However, once we can see the invisible barrier, we begin the “jailbreak” journey, where we start to reach for our authentic desires and access our inner liberation. One of the most significant issues women face is not having role models of women living fully actualized lives who have stepped fully into their own sovereignty and feeling whole in all areas of their lives. Women may have mastered their lives in one area but still have trouble relaxing, being playful, or considering themselves successful. They can't identify what's wrong or what's holding them back, and this is when the psychology of PSD really begins to get interesting because this oppression lives in our nervous systems, and it must be released and expelled. When women go from surviving to thriving, once this hidden system of oppression has been revealed, a daily practice and community are essential to keeping the work alive.

Hello my friends! I'm very excited today because I'm in an actual recording studio! Yes! I got the book and read it and you know when you read a book and you have to keep putting it down because it's smacking you in the face with your own truth? It was too hot in my hands, too much. Yeah, it was one of those books. And I was so moved, I reached out to Dr Valerie on LinkedIn and asked her to be a guest on the show. What is causing stress for high-achieving women, no matter what we do or how much we achieve? This question led Dr. Valerie Rein to discover “patriarchy stress disorder”: intergenerational, collective, and personal trauma of oppression, the invisible inner barrier to women's happiness and fulfillment.   The more a woman breaks through the inner and outer glass ceilings and grows in her visibility and success, the more her nervous system drives up its hyper-activation, hyper-vigilance: Our nervous system perceives increased success as increased threat.    When we heal the toxic effects of PSD on our minds, bodies, and actions/choices, most challenging situations and crises resolve. And not just in a way that “fixes the problem” - but in a way that uplevels our whole-life success dramatically and brings more joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment to our work, relationships, and wellbeing than we ever dreamed of.   Key topics discussed in this episode: Creating a life of health and wealth Allowing your pleasure to move you Giving yourself grace and permission Breaking the cycles of oppression Owning your life and your voice   Quotes:   “It can be really scary to open up to feeling, and it's much more frightening to keep on moving on until something dire interrupts that trajectory.”   Want to connect with Dr. Valerie? https://www.drvalerie.com/ IG: @drvalerierein Join Dr. Valerie's Facebook group! Patriarchy stress disorder, pandemic parenting, and creating a wildly successful and profitable business from a place of pleasure and desire - these topics are just the tip of the iceberg in this incredible episode with my esteemed guest, Sage Polaris. Many of you may already know that I am a lover of language, words, naming “it," synchronicity, and mysticism. I knew that the name “Sage” already intrigued me, and so of course I had to go digging below the surface, feeling into the deeper essence of what it means: Sage. noun * a profoundly wise person; a person famed for wisdom. * someone venerated for the possession of wisdom, judgment, and experience. adjective, sag·er, sag·est. * wise, judicious, or prudent: * sage advice. It did not take me long to recognize that Sage is aptly named, but then the name “Polaris” also had me Googling! Polaris: Also known as the North Star. Polaris lies nearly in a direct line with the Earth's rotational axis "above" the North Pole—the north celestial pole—Polaris stands almost motionless in the sky, and all the stars of the northern sky appear to rotate around it. I mean, can you stand it? Sage Polaris. Her name got me thinking about what it takes to be "sage." What I know about wisdom is that it's often gained by having faced tremendous trials, difficulty, and extreme challenges. There is a reason for instance, that Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, has the companion totem animal of the owl. An owl is a symbol of wisdom and is known to “cleave” through the darkness, able to view things from a higher perspective. I am loving the wisdom, perspective, and “Sage" offerings delivered in this episode. Listen in as we dive deeply into work, life, and love, and what Sage is doing to invite women to join her in seeking higher perspectives that bring more love and pleasure to our businesses and lives. I think you'll be amazed by what you hear. Thank you for your time, Sage! You are a gem! Sage Polaris has written high converting copy for more than 350 clients earning them millions of dollars. She helps personal brands and service providers sell more of their service or offer with the words on their website. She has worked with Chrisette Michele, James Wedmore, Rick Mulready, and Amber McCue. Basically, she makes money for the “internet famous” people we all look up to. *Show Notes: * * Sage has created her business by design, "If you share my values, I can work with you.” * Pandemic parenting + entrepreneurship has meant that Sage gets to show up authentically, sometimes with kids crawling all over her, while knowing that she's chosen to work with the clients who understand that this is part of where we all are in this moment. * Women are showing up for work differently, and not just during the pandemic. We have been evolving towards more work-life balance and honoring each other in this duality, of women who are out in the workforce and mothering at the same time and bringing that together in a way that feels supported. * Sage takes 4 months off each year, consistently doubles her revenues each year, and she does so unapologetically. * Sage writes “copy that converts” but really her job is to create “resonance” using language and words, and integrity to communicate the essence of her clients' offerings which she also calls "the sixth sense of copywriting." * Using this method, Sage has had upwards of 1.2, 5 million in revenues in a single launch for her clients. * All industries have a gritty and sleazy side, but if you are aware of your values aligning with your clients' values, it can be a magical marketing experience for both you and the customer. * Valerie Ryan is the author of the book, Patriarchy Stress Disorder and Sage has all of her students read it as a reminder that we are in a system that was built to oppress many people, particularly women, and that this is at the core of how we “work” and do life. * As women, we have to be aware of how we burn ourselves out because when we do that we can't affect positive change in the world. * We have to pay attention to how we place conditions on ourselves as women, even withholding love from ourselves because we don't realize that we've loved ourselves with conditions based on how we “perform” in our business.

Hi love,   Today we're doing something profound.   We're unpacking (or rather, because this is such a *rich* topic, *beginning* to unpack...) something called "Patriarchy Stress Disorder".   Dr. Valerie Rein is a psychologist specializing in identifying hidden intergenerational and personal traumas underlying anxiety, depression, addictions, and relationship problems and effectively resolving them with the tools of psychology, biology, and neuroscience.    She's also a mom and incredible badass leader who's single-handedly discovered and taken on this disorder that's been afflicting the feminine community for millennia.   I was stoked to have the opportunity to have an honest and expansive conversation with Dr. Valerie about trauma, healing, and the experience of the collective, wounded feminine over the millenia, as a result of the largely unhealthy patriarchal system we've been subjected to.  #itsnotyourfault   This conversation was nothing short of mind-blowing.  I anticipate that you're going to learn and appreciate so much around this week's episode, including:    ~ Dr. Valerie's story and how she stumbled across this phenomenon ~ The power of epigenetics - how fears and traumas can be passed down from generation to generation ~ Some of the self-limiting habits and unhealthy adaptations acquired from the (painful) messages transmitted via epigenetics ~ How women have been programmed to fear and block our pleasure/desires, financial power, and success ~ How women have been programmed to apologize through our language, habits, and in other ways ~ How you can begin to heal trauma from your own personal experiences, as well as inherited PSD   If you feel informed and encouraged by the messages shared in today's podcast, I encourage you to share them wherever you feel called to share the radical self-love.  #healingpatriarchystressdisorder   Dr. Valerie is a wealth of knowledge on feminine psychology, epigenetics, and more! If the messages received from today's program have been powerful (and I bet they were!), I *highly recommend* that you reach out to learn more about her offerings.   She just hosted a powerful masterclass, and her new course called "The Thriving Solution" is about to kick off  *this week* (it's just started so if you're interested, I recommend jumping on that right meow!).  You can find out more about those here:  https://drvalerie.lpages.co/masterclass-optin/?oprid=82&ref=17739.   You can also grab a copy of her book, "Patriarchy Stress Disorder" here:  https://www.amazon.com/Patriarchy-Stress-Disorder-Invisible-Fulfillment/dp/1544505779.   Here's to living and creating in an even better world - a world that's elevating itself through the ascension of PSD-informed women healing their trauma so they can move from "how much can I take" to "how good can it get"!   Enjoy this week's episode here (subscribe to us on iTunes and/or Spotify!):   https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-feminine-ascendance-circle/id1469332419 https://open.spotify.com/show/48t6231e2vO30IEOaAmYLc?si=EiC9Aac0TDKvr7xMJLL7QQ https://katietiti.com/podcast/ #thefeminineascendancecircle #feminineinfluenceandmagnetism   Have a great one, and see you next week!  #happyfirstquartermoon

We go deep in this episode and talk trauma, how to not pass your trauma down to your kids, why we all have trauma we might not even realize we are experiencing.  You don't want to miss this episode! In This Episode Every woman has been guarding the same exact secret, Dr. Valerie says, “There's something wrong with me.”  We believe there is a problem individually with us, but really have very little to do with us personally: They're rooted in our shared trauma—the trauma of the millennia of oppression that I've termed Patriarchy Stress Disorder® (PSD).  Dr. Valerie shares what PSD is. Why despite women's achievements are they still often dissatisfied, and why Dr. Valerie says it's not their fault The 1 thing draining 90% of our time and energy. What is it, and how de we reclaim it What are some of the long term effects of trauma How we can begin to heal from trauma. What are some exercises women can put into practice, or action steps we can take if we have been exposed What do we do when we are working on ourselves and trying to heal ourselves, but those around us aren't as self-actualized or evolved - our partners, parents, siblings, friends. How do we keep our frustrations in check, and is it out job to change people and show them the light? Or leave them as they are? How do you not repeat cycles or patterns of toxicity in our life, how do we not pass them onto our children? How can we best support our kids during the difficult teen years when they are exposed to sex, drinking, vaping, drugs, peer relationships. The teens years are hard - how can we do our best to safeguard our kids and make them resilient? And more About Dr. Valerie DR. VALERIE REIN is a psychologist, women's mental health expert, and business consultant who helps people achieve the best ROI by achieving the best mental health—without therapy.
