Tim Booth, Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13 join Jason “Puck”Puckett for the Ground Puck Seahawks Podcast. They discuss the chances of Seattle trying to avoid a 6-11 finish. What would it take for Seattle to spend their offseason in a rebuild mode? Curtis doesn't think Seattle is that far off, Puck and Tim aren't so sure. If they do decided to play D.K. Metcalf in the offseason, do they have enough money to improve their offensive line? What happens if they move on from Geno Smith? Curtis argues that you should be careful what you wish for. Geno is not the number one problem. Even though Geno is not the problem, they don't have a future quarterback on their roster. The Cardinals look for real and the 49ers have Christian McCaffrey back so winning the division will be that much more difficult. Does John Schneider have the confidence of the ownership group to make wholesale changes to his roster in the offseason?

“Ground Puck Podcast” w/ Jason “Puck” Puckett and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13, Tim Booth Seattle Times. How in the world did the Seahawks lose to the lowly New York Giants? The defense was completely outplayed and had no answer for the the Giants, despite Malik Nabers and Devin Singletary being out. What is the biggest problem for the defense? Is it the defensive line or the lack of playmakers at linebacker? The offense wasn't much better. Ryan Grubb did not have a good day. Ken Walker managed just five carries in the game and just two in the first half. The Seahawks dropped back on 51 of their 58 plays. That just can't continue to happen if the Seahawks want to win games. The upcoming schedule is real pivotal for the Seahawks, starting on Thursday with the 49ers. After that they head to Atlanta to take on an explosive Falcons offense and then it's back home to face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The season has a chance to slip away real fast.
