Wait til you hear about our NFL ring ceremony concept...Jonah is back in from his Fresh year of college and contributes in a big way. Maria can best be described as mildly bemused and tolerant as the guys propose the following:1) What would you do if you had the Stanley Cup for a day?2) A total reimagining of the NFL Super Bowl ring ceremony. What if NFL Super Bowl rings were turned over every year like the Stanley Cup? 50 yard line, previous winners line up across from new winners and (Benny Hill theme starts playing) each player has to find another one to wear his ring.Would there be Red Carpet event fan overlap for the Super Bowl if there was a week long leadup with players discussing the rings, their potential outfits for the ceremony and who their potential targets might be?If this sounds to you like it might be a terrible idea, maybe you need to ask yourself this question: “If Elvis Grbac, 1994 Michigan Wolverines starting QB, thinks its a great idea...is it possible that maybe I’m the one missing the point?”*If you are an NFL athlete or know an NFL athlete, please explain to us why or how you think this will be successful and who to contact to make it work.*To date, Elvis Grbac is definitely unaware of this idea and may or may not think it’s a good idea. Please visit us at https://thetragedyacademy.com On social media, you can find us at @thetragedyacademypodcast on Instagram, The Tragedy Academy Podcast on Facebook, and @tragedy_academy on Twitter.  Don't forget to subscribe, download, rate, and review! (39:50) Superbowl ring exchange proposal.(38:05) Stanley Cup lightning rod hat viral video. #nfl #football #sports #nba #nfldraft #nflnews #superbowl #nflfootball #life #mlb #espn #nflmemes #americanfootball #madden #touchdown #afc #nfc #comedian #laugh #rogan #bertkreischer #pattonoswalt #offensive #chrisrock #chappelle #equality #collegefootball #fantasy #roto #fantasyfootball #redcarpet #fashion #comedy #funny #hilarious #ridiculous #timanderic #joke #standup #lol #nfl #football #sports #nhl #stanleycup

Did we see a Robby Fabbri fight? Yes, yes we did. We also saw some bizarre goals from Jaden Schwartz and Patrik Berglund. While the youngsters stepped up, the whole streak really belongs to Brian Elliott. What a past couple of weeks he's had! So good, that it actually makes us a little paranoid- which we expand on as well. We actually disagree on a few things. On top of that, there's the Dennis Wideman hit on an official and, as predicted last week, the firing of Mike Yeo in Minnesota. Medverkande: Linus Hugosson Jonatan Lindquist Eddie Läck

Oh, dear-- it's happened again. Evgeny Malkin's latest bust-up has left the Pittsburgh Penguins and your fantasy team in dire straits. But have no fear! Elan and Brian have all the tips and analysis you'll need to recover on this week's episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast. Malkin is far from the only player injured this week, as we're watching depth charts shaken up around the league as the injury ninja continues his relentless late season assault. Islanders, Canadiens, Panthers, Stars, Ducks, Avalanche and Wings are all making adjustments accordingly, and we've got the scoop on who's playing with who, and in what role. On the flipside of that coin, so many Outjuries® this week, too! This episode has our usual look and how players in Edmonton, New York, Columbus, Arizona, Chicago, Florida, Carolina and Calgary are re-entering the lineup, and whether they'll get to reclaim their usual spots or be forced to lie in wait until an opportunity presents itself. This edition winds down with a list of players who are wound up! We cover a whole slate of lesser-owned players who are hot and ready to contribute to your fantasy team, including a Long Island blue-liner, a feisty Maple Leaf, an under-the-radar young Sabre, a rookie Blue, and an I-didn't-even-know-he-was-a Devil. Boxscores! Line juggling! On-ice events! Terrible goaltending performances! They're all finally here after a long season of waiting, and the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast is here to catch you up on all that you need to know about the first five days of NHL regular season play. First off, what the heck should you do with your team post-draft? Should you tinker with adds/drops or stand pat? Elan and Brian dish out some advice on early season management strategies, describing how they evaluate and react to the first handful of games played in a season. Next, they dig into the first week's most tantalizing performances, rolling through a list of the vets, rookies and tweeners who are scoring above a point-per-game pace at this early stage, and making the call on whether they're 'add now!!'s or wait-and-sees.  Elan and Brian then go over a handful of injuries, specifically speculating on what the heck might happen in LA's crease. On this episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast, Elan and Brian share some notable trends they've noticed in their fantasy drafts, and help you begin to build your watchlist and make your first FA acquisitions of the 2015-16 seasons. After picking our jaws up off the floor, we go on to try to make sense of Dano's AHL assignment, and consider a multitude of unexpected opportunities presenting themselves in Edmonton and elsewhere around the league due to early injuries. We also openly wonder about the updated fantasy value of one of last year's most surprising starters, an under-the-radar pick from last year who was understandably abandoned by most of his owners, a young Canuck on somewhat of an island, and a couple new names making impressions on preseason scoresheets.Players discussed on this episode include Marko Dano, Artemi Panarin, Andrew Shaw, Jordan Eberle, Anton Slepyshev, TJ Brodie, Dougie Hamilton, Zach Bogosian, Cody Franson, Andrew Hammond, Craig Anderson, Matt O'Connor, Kyle Baun, Andreas Athanasiou, Bo Horvat, Jori Lehtera, Patrick Maroon, Leon Draisatl, Anton Lander, Nail Yakupov, Brad Richards, Dennis Wideman, Kris Russell, Justin Abdelkader and more.* * *Download this episode, subscribe, and review us on iTunes! If you enjoy the show, please support future episodes by becoming a patron of Keeping Karlsson. Keeping Karlsson patrons can join our patron-only Facebook group and take part in (and receive audio from) a monthly live, face-to-face and interactive Keeping Karlsson recording! You can also support us by telling a friend, subscribing to and reviewing Keeping Karlsson on iTunes, and following us on Twitter (@keepingkarlsson).
