The Rams are a mystery when it comes to the NFL Draft. They may decide they want to trade up to take one of the better Tight Ends (Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland) in this upcoming draft, or they may sit comfortably and draft an Offensive Lineman, (Armand Membou, Kelvin Banks Jr.) or add a piece to their defensive front (James Pearce Jr., Jihaad Campbell, Nick Emmanwori). Nobody knows, but the odds suggest there's 4-5 positions that we should be really focused on. The reality is, the Rams are in a good position and have had a really strong offseason thus far. And they have a couple incredible drafts to look back on and copy methodologies to try and bring in another great class.

The Rams are in the midst of free agency and have already made some great signings: Davante Adams, Poona Ford, Coleman Shelton while re-signing Alaric Jackson, Tutu Atwell, Jimmy Garoppolo and tendering Dylan McMahon. Puka Nacua also changed his number after a big pay day from Davante Adams, and Cooper Kupp is on the brink of being released by the Rams. The Rams just signed Davante Adams to a 2-year, $46MM contract. Are they legitimate Super Bowl contenders once again? And obviously, this means Cooper Kupp's future with the Rams is non-existent. But, they're gearing up for another run without him, and they will continue to invest in not only their offense, but their defense as well via free agency and the draft.

Rams vs. Eagles divisional round recap: man, they really had a shot at the end of this game to upset the Eagles in Philadelphia. Crucial mistakes down the stretch were the difference between hosting an NFC Championship game and their season ending abruptly. But, this wasn't necessarily a "Super Bowl or Bust" type roster. Next year, there's a legitimate opportunity to bring in some talent and ensure your Super Bowl window is back open for at least one more season. Rams vs. Eagles divisional round preview - do the Rams have enough left offensively and defensively to be able to hang with the Eagles in Philadelphia? The forecast is calling for some snow, which could affect the way both of these teams approach their gameplan. Regardless, the Rams' defense needs another stellar performance to force Jalen Hurts to become one dimensional and to find a way to slow Saquon Barkley down, while the offense needs to start fast and put together a near perfect gameplan to be able to combat Vic Fangio and the number one defense in the league.

Rams absolutely dismantled the Minnesota Vikings in State Farm Stadium and are now headed to Philadelphia for a date in the divisional round with the Eagles. How did they do it? They have the superior head coach/quarterback, and had a gameplan defensively, led by a young core, that had Sam Darnold seeing ghosts all night. The Vikings were no slouch, they were a 14-win team this season but couldn't get past the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams in any capacity. Do the Rams have a legitimate shot against the Eagles, with a chance for redemption? We very much think so.

Rams are now preparing to play the Vikings in the first round of the Wild Card playoffs in ARIZONA because of the LA wildfires. An unfortunate situation for the Rams who were set to host a playoff game and were estimated to have a massive home field advantage. Regardless, the Rams have a few things they can focus on to ensure they win this game and advance to the divisional round: starting fast, generating tons of pressure and making sure they perform better in the red zone than their opponents. Rams lose in the finale to the Seattle Seahawks and finish the season 10-7. They officially own the 4 seed in the NFC and will host the 14-win Minnesota Vikings (5 seed) in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Considering how Arizona has been playing over the last few weeks, Rams fans should be confident in this team to get a big win at home after a road trip. Of course, we remember back to earlier on this season when the Cardinals put up 41 points on our defense and tweeted a "yawning" emoji following the win, but this Rams team is coming off 4 straight wins and are poised to win the division. Every potential playoff scenario is featured in this episode.

The Rams have won 4 straight games (and back-to-back road games) to improve to 9-6 and are now in full control of the NFC West with only 2 weeks to go. The Cardinals, Seahawks and 49ers all lost yesterday and now Arizona and San Francisco are eliminated from playoff contention, and the Rams are hosting Arizona on Saturday night for a shot to become NFC West champions. This season has been a rollercoaster in many ways, but it's not about how you start. It's about how you finish. And this Rams team is poised to make some legitimate noise in the post-season.

The Rams have to travel to New Jersey to play the Jets this weekend, in a game that many would consider a trap. McVay hasn't historically coached well in cold weather games, but this Rams team is scorching hot and is in first place in the NFC West. They have a chance to put this race to bed early if they can win the next 2 games and Seattle loses this weekend to Minnesota. What do the Rams need to do in this game in order to head back to Los Angeles with a win? Run the ball consistently, establish dominance at the line of scrimmage, and ensure Aaron Rodgers is on the ground early and often.

The Rams SWEPT the 49ers for the first time since 2018. It increases their playoff odds to 52%, while the 49ers remain in the basement of the NFC West with a 0.1% chance to make the playoffs this season. The Rams theoretically slammed the 49ers Super Bowl window shut, in an ugly win that puts them in prime position to make some noise in the final 3 games of the regular season and win the NFC West. Will they do it? We very much feel like they will.

The Rams have an opportunity to sweep the 49ers for the first time since 2018. We know the history of these two teams in the McVay/Shanahan era, but the Rams are in the process of playing their best football after putting up 65 total points in their last 6 quarters combined vs. New Orleans and Buffalo. They were able to get the job done earlier this season without Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp and a healthy offensive line. All of these things are FINALLY in place, and the Rams are STILL underdogs to the 49ers on a short week. What's your prediction on what's going to happen tomorrow night?

Rams took care of business against the MVP favorite, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in SoFi Stadium tonight in DRAMATIC fashion. Absolutely incredible offensive performance (by both teams) but in particular Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua and the Rams' offense on third down, in the red zone and seemingly in every single crucial situation. Are the Rams going to make a legitimate playoff push and potentially win the NFC West? There's most definitely a chance. But they have to make sure they're ready to go against the 49ers on a short week. If they do, they'll move to 8-6 and will have swept the 49ers and beat them 3 straight games, going back to last year.

The Rams need this win to dramatically increase their playoff odds. Do they really have a shot? We think they may. The Bills struggle against the run, as well as defending against play-action and teams who run of chunk of plays out of condensed formations, which is exactly what the Rams' offense is doing right now. They've been much better since Week 8, when they got back their 2 primary pass catchers in Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. But how on earth are they going to stop the MVP favorite Josh Allen? It's a really tall task for an inexperienced defense. The bottom line: you can't stop him. You can only try to slow him down.

The Rams took care of business after a really shaky start in New Orleans yesterday. Scoring 0 points in the first half hadn't happened under Sean McVay since the 2018 Super Bowl vs. New England and the Rams hadn't won a game after scoring 0 points in the first half since 2009. But, they responded immediately in the 2nd half with some really good play designs, consistency in the redzone and discipline on both sides of the ball. RBTP42 is titled: "Family, No Matter What" in honor of captain Andrew Whitworth's post-game speech to close out the 2019 NFL season for the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams were able to sweep the Arizona Cardinals for the third consecutive year, but it wasn't enough to sneak into the playoffs. The Rams were the only team out of 13 teams with winning records to miss out on a playoff bid, finishing the season with a winning record at 9-7. The Rams Brothers (and head coach Sean McVay) believe that although this season didn't quite live up to expectations, that missing the playoffs was a "blessing in disguise" heading into the 2020 offseason. With plenty to be concerned about, it's fair to wonder if the Rams will ever return to their 2018 form - with lingering salary cap questions, big-time contracts to restructure, and free agents to prioritize over the next few weeks. In this episode, the Rams Brothers play the role of "Twitter GM" (as some would say) and look very closely into next years' salary cap, suggest roster moves that could clear up a ton of cap for 2020 and recommend players to trade. Additionally, we discuss the future of the coaching staff, and why the Los Angeles Rams were reluctant to send assistants or coordinators to the podium following their victory in the final home game at the Coliseum. RBTP41 is titled: "Better Days Ahead", because the Los Angeles Rams were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday night against the San Francisco 49ers (despite a Minnesota loss) - final score: 34-31. After a completely disheartening finish to the season, the Rams Brothers dissect the loss in San Francisco, specifically because the Rams put together one of their most complete games of the entire 2019 season. As this very season has taught us time and time again, untimely turnovers and inconsistent play on both sides of the ball will lose you games when you aren't the most productive offense in football. And as we all know, the Rams failed to replicate the same level of offensive success that took them to the Super Bowl last year. Aside from the loss in San Francisco, the Rams Brothers feature J.B. Long's list of 2019 accolades, dig deep into the salary cap: specifically Mike Silver's article (of NFL.com) that mentioned "multiple internal shake-ups to the coaching staff" & Todd Gurley as a "cap casualty", and Bryan DeArdo's article (of CBSSports) that suggests potentially trading Aaron Donald for a first-round pick. Like we went to Disney World, found out that everyone’s favorite ride is experiencing technical difficulties and won't be available until next year. Prior to the loss in Dallas, the Los Angeles Rams were only a single game out of the 6th playoff seed and left us with plenty of optimism after the back-to-back divisional wins against Arizona and Seattle. But the Los Angeles Rams, led by Sean McVay, reverted back to the comfort of the 11-personnel grouping and felt no obligation to establish a run game early on. The Rams' inability to adjust scheme's mid-game proved to be detrimental, and the Cowboys proved to be the more desperate team. The Rams Brothers dive into what ultimately led to the Rams' demise: An unbalanced pass/run ratio (leaning heavily on 11-personnel), the defenses' inability to get to Prescott/stop the run, and letting Tavon Austin score a 59-yard touchdown. After coming off of a win against the Chicago Bears that seemingly corrected some mistakes, Rams fans were confident that Wade Phillips could put together a game plan that would prevent Lamar Jackson from scoring 6 TD's on 6 straight possessions. Nonetheless, an embarrassing home loss in the middle of a wildcard race poses a massive slate of questions, considering this team was built to be a Super Bowl contender this year. Starting with the Quarterback, the Rams Brothers dig into the deeper routed issues, from current cap situation, to good & bad contracts, a continuation on McVay needing additional support, and Les Snead's roster moving forward. The Los Angeles Rams were boo'ed at home last night, but we're extremely optimistic that there's pressure and urgency internally to remain a highly successful franchise moving forward.

RBTP episode 36 is titled: "Old Gold", in honor of Todd Gurley's post-game comments that he feels like "The Old Todd" again. Gurley, who has been nearly written off throughout the league continues to prove that he's healthy and willing to carry the team when called upon. The Rams beat the Bears 17-7 in the Coliseum in primetime to improve to 6-4 with a run-heavy approach that featured 133 total yards from Gurley & limited Goff to 18 total pass attempts.
