Munaf Manji, Dave Essler and Mackenzie Rivers talk NFL contests for week 13. The hosts break down Week 13 NFL contests with Survivor strategy and ATS picks, starting with a recap of Week 12 where 39 Survivor entries were eliminated, mostly on the Raiders, leaving 900 entries worth about $20.8k each in Circa and all six Grandissimo entries still alive worth $1.15M each. Mackenzie gives his pick: Broncos −6 vs Washington, citing Denver's defense, Washington's weak home field, Mariota likely starting, and the strength of road favorites off a bye. Munaf agrees, noting Denver's scoring consistency and Washington's defensive issues. Dave cautions that if Daniels plays he'd lean Washington but otherwise sides with Denver. Dave's pick is Cowboys over Chiefs on Thanksgiving, arguing KC is not fully right, Dallas proved something with their comeback, and Mahomes' team may not handle adversity as well as past years. Mackenzie likes Dallas with the points and cites a 6–25 trend for non-home Thursday teams off Sunday OT. Munaf praises Dallas' defensive second half vs Philly and KC's regression in close games. Munaf's pick is Rams −10.5 at Carolina, expecting a two-TD win based on Carolina's poor performances vs winning teams, Rams' offensive rhythm, Stafford's MVP-level play, and LAR's defense generating turnovers. Dave and Mack agree Carolina is weak and McVay is trustworthy as a road favorite. They then discuss Bengals vs Ravens: Burrow returns, Higgins out, Ravens inconsistent, Bengals defense weak, possible Derrick Henry heavy game, and lean Bengals +7 or under. Survivor strategy: Circa splits Thanksgiving as 13A and Sunday as 13B; big favorites include Ravens, Eagles, Rams, Jags, Seahawks, Chargers. Dave prefers Eagles as safest pick; Munaf agrees. Mack and Dan's live Survivor entries are using Eagles for 13A and Chargers for 13B but Mack is nervous about both sides. They warn against Jacksonville due to Tennessee's recent covers and Cam Ward improving. They close with holiday notes, thanking listeners, emphasizing family time, and joking about tryptophan and naps. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

On today's episode of The Sporting Tribune Today, host Arash Markazi brings you two major NFL storylines head-on. Segment 1: Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers The Rams head into a nail-biter Week 10 matchup on the road against the 49ers, fresh off a dominant 34-10 win over the New Orleans Saints. In his media session, head coach Sean McVay discussed the Rams' momentum, the looming NFC West battle, and gave updates on key injuries — including star WR Puka Nacua. McVay said he's “optimistic” about Nacua returning despite his rib injury. We'll break down: What McVay sees as the difference between winning a big divisional road game and simply getting by. How the Rams plan to exploit 49ers weaknesses — especially their depleted pass-rush and injury impacts. The internal accountability McVay emphasized: even after a blowout win, he flagged special teams issues and said the “granular elements” remain non-negotiable. Segment 2: Los Angeles Chargers' Next-Step Focus Switching gears, we hear from head coach Jim Harbaugh as he addresses the team's upcoming stretch and key areas of improvement. Harbaugh made it clear the Chargers “need to be better” on special teams and said the team will be explicitly targeting that phase this week. We'll examine: How Harbaugh views the offensive line as the “tip of the spear” in building his roster and its current status. Which injury updates and roster windows (e.g., return of key contributors) are shaping the Chargers' immediate outlook. What needs to happen for the Chargers to elevate from contenders to consistent winners in Harbaugh's system. Produced by: Grant Mona Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Really, though, my view is more of an acknowledgement of the inevitability of the war machine which built those weapons. The decision to use them, in my view, was less about particular reasons and more about why they were made: To win the war. Whether they were needed to win the war was irrelevant by the end, and trying to assess the "need" to drop them is missing that important point.

Still, the game flipped in overtime: a 4th-and-1 stop by San Francisco's defense set up Eddy Piñeiro's walk-off field goal from 41 yards out.

The Rams are poised to handle business on Thursday night, and Vegas agrees as they're 6.5pt favorites over their archrival division opponents at home. Regardless of who's hurt and who isn't, McVay vs. Shanahan is always a great match-up. The 49ers will find ways to stay in this game, but their lack of healthy skill players and difference makers on both sides of the ball make this an incredibly tall task for them. Week 3 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 33-26 down at The Linc in Philly. They are now 3-0 on the season and right at the top of the NFC East division. This was one heck of a game with an amazing ending as Jordan Davis not only blocked a field goal, but returned it for a touchdown for the inevitable win! This game also should be dubbed as a tale of two halves. The Eagles offense only generated 33 yards of offense in the first half, yet ended the game with 288 total yards. The passing game finally started manifesting itself in the second half with Jalen Hurts doing a great job of making plays when it counted, but the pass game was quiet in the first two quarters. And somehow the rushing attack just didn't work in this game as Saquon Barkley ended the day with 2.6 yards per rush. However, the Eagles offense is now 8/8 in the red zone on the season - the best in the NFL.It was a bend but don't break defense this week. While they gave up some big plays through the air to Puka Nacua and Davonte Adams had some nice plays, but it wasn't enough to win this game.As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
