More than 12 months later still dark days for our scene and culture. We are guessing everybody is going through a lot of struggles and mixed emotions at the moment. As for the most in our industry and scene - we as Lehmann Club - looking into an uncertain future. Depending on how long this crisis will last, we not really know how it will go on afterwards. So we called some of our dearest „old“ and „new“ friends, past guests and our residents to create these „Save our HOME“ compilation series. Die Rede ist von Fabian Ehmann. Einem Soundreisenden zwischen den Welten, der seit seinen Anfängen sehr viel wert auf einen besonderen Sound gelegt hat, der irgendwo zwischen Entspannung, Melodie, Melancholie und treibender Tiefe liegt. Ein Sound der genau in unsere Reihe passt, wie wir finden. Neben seinen zeitlosen 'afterhourrischen' Sets, die auf diversen Onlinemagazinen zu finden sind, ist er aber auch im echten Leben eine umtriebige Person der es sich zum Ziel gemacht hat, im Ostalbkreis eine neue elektronische Musikplattform zu verwirklichen. Zusammen mit Markus Softra gründete er so Anfang des Jahres 2014 die Event Organisation „Gute Nacht GbR“. Mit der Partyreihe SELECT Im Aalener „Rock It“ verwirklicht die GTN8-Crew ihren jahrelangen Traum, einen Anteil an dem musikalischen Bild der Region zu haben. In den letzten Jahre konnte er aber auch einige Auftritte außerhalb des Ostalbkreises zu verzeichnen. Unter anderem spielte er in Stuttgart (u.a. ROMY S.), Friedrichshafen, Heidenheim, Ulm, Dinkelsbühl (Café Zeitlos), Leutkirch im Allgäu und Schorndorf. Seine größten Auftritte waren gemeinsam mit Felix Kröcher, Sascha Braemer, Super Flu, Lexer, Hanne & Lore, Joris Delacroix, Wild Culture, Raphael Dincsoy und Jonas Woehl. Uns freut es sehr diesen aufstrebenden Künstler für unsere Reihe gewonnen zu haben, der wieder einmal ein ganz vorzügliches Set aufgenommen hat. Die Aufnahme besticht vor allem durch seine spannende Mischung aus ruhigen und treibenden Momenten. Dabei geht er im Aufbau - für ihn typisch - ganz behutsam vor. Am Anfang eher gemächlich, fast schon andächtig daherkommend, steigert er sich im Verlauf des Sets unaufhaltsam und dringt somit immer tiefer in Bereiche der dunklen, treibenden und trancigen Momente ein. Dabei lässt er immer wieder mal die Sonne, in Form von schönen Melodien, aufgehen. Eine durch und durch stimmige Mischung, die so was von Lust auf den nächsten langen Abend macht. Wir danken dir Fabi für dieses 'menschliche' Sahnestück von Set. Jetzt aber genug der Worte. Musik ein, Welt aus. His musical socialization ranges from a variety of electronic music to touch points in Acid House, Techno and some in between. This is where Linus found home which is a place he has been strengthening with regular studio recordings for almost a decade. In 2006 LINUS QUICK released his first track which was followed by numerous productions, co-productions and remixes on different labels. They all emphasize the artist’s creativity, dedication, diversity and flexibility. All of these aspects have been surfacing when implementing his sound at live shows. The continuous advance of his persona as live act and the passion he shows when presenting his minimal techno to the audience take LINUS QUICK to the best clubs in Germany but also to many other important locations outside these borders. In 2013, LINUS QUICK became part of the Abstract Booking family and enjoyed large events such as MAYDAY and released his third studio album “Presence” via Wayward Music.
