Kolejne m.in. w trackid oraz Luzztro Records. Swoim setem nawiązuję do starych dobrych czasów muzyki techno z przełomu lat 90'. I started playing music as a DJ in 1991. At first in Potsdam, later on in Berlin in a variety of clubs – more than I can even remember. Since that time I've included lots of different styles in my sets, like house, techno, breakbeat, D&B, downbeats, etc.. It was a great honour to play together with so many excellent Djs like Rok, Alec Empire, ED2000, Tanith, Thomas P. Heckmann, Beroshima, Mijk van Dijk, Copasetic, Hell, Rene, Bass Dee, and so on. Visiting so many clubs and open airs in Germany gave me allways a big pleasure. After my daughter was born, I settled a little to focus on my family and job, but I still love to create monthly mixes, bringing all those experiences and joy about music together. Listen, enjoy, comment and share! And if you're convinced by my sound then it would be great if I see you at one of the irregular gigs, please check: facebook.com/gayakloud Thanks!
This week's Local Selection Mix has been provided by David Purcell (Scordor). The Kildare based DJ and producer has provided us with a slamming mix comprised of driven and bouncy techno from start to finish. Sit tight. This gets wild. Scordor first realised his passion for dance music (most notably techno) from the tender age of 18. Having discovered this vested interested from frequenting Hangar, which led him to start producing dance music from an early age. Since then, he has jolted into the Dublin techno scene. Amassing supports for Remco Beekwilder, Thomas P. Heckmann and SHCHXCHX in the process. Scordor made his Cellar debut last Saturday alongside Andy MC, P.RAW.N and Jon Hussey for the Embedded takeover in what was a stellar evening from start to finish. It was filled with high-octane techno from the get-go which was a terrific evening filled with quality dance music. This entry to the Local Selection Mix Series outlines Scordor's remarkable music taste and even more impressive productions. As you can hear an array of original Scordor material throughout that is both released and unreleased. Accompanied with a slew of mainly old school selections that emulate hard grooves, broken rhythms and tingling percussion. Buckle up! We have the pleasure of hosting a live club recording from Jon Hussey at The Sugar Club for RLSD Records. Jon need's little introduction, as he has been a key cog in the Dublin techno machine for many years, and boasts legendary status in Irish dance music's framework. Jon showcases why he's earned fabled status as a DJ with a trip through various moods, as Jon intertwines jacking grooves, deep and windings atmospheres and rolling bass swarms wrapped up into an hour of techno funk. Jon Hussey‘s name carries weight within Irish techno, from playing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry such as Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, The Advent, Neil Landstrumm, Thomas P Heckmann and many many more to playing across Europe in some of the desired clubs. Jon has frequently played in Berlin over the years, and notably played alongside Mark Broom in the infamous Tresor. Jon creates expertly crated techno, that is categorically deep, rolling and packed with intricate rhythmic touches, but when speaking about Jon, categorising it is utterly pointless, as his evolution as a DJ and producer is incessant. Jon has released music on Irish imprints Earwiggle, Delinquent Delivery and RLSD. His collaborations with the late Stuey Lyons [R.I.P.] are thought to be some of his best work, receiving widespread notoriety and support from some of the leads techno DJs in the world. Jon also notably had his work on RLSD remixed by Japanese techno icon Takaaki Itoh. There's something about a Jon Hussey mix that seem's instantly identifiable , which on the surface makes no sense at all as Jon has an extremely eclectic style, but his mixes and DJ set's have a real charm and originality that doesn't come by too often, and they're particularly distinguishable. This mix is no different, as Jon skips through a multitude of moods and avenues, letting tracks breathe at the right moments, and smashing the accelerator when needs be. Jon hammers through slamming grooves and intertwines warpy rollers alongside classic jacking cuts. Live recordings seem to be a little less common than they were a couple of years ago, maybe because there's an enormous amount of pressure for DJs to cough up podcasts every few months, which takes focus from live recordings. This is a raw live recording that's a captivating representation of a real DJ at work, redirecting the vibe at the pinnacle moment's and changing mixing style's based on the room. This is a real treat. We premiere a track from techno legend today, Paul Birken. Birken has put together an analogue techno bomb for Gombocs first release on wax. Paul Birken has been putting out wonky techno classic's for the best part of 25 years. Release's such as ‘Speaker Freakin” & ‘Surfin' Superior' helped launch his 12 inches into the hands of some of techno's most coveted and technical DJ's. Paul still receives heavy support from the likes of Sunil Sharpe, Jerome Hill & Bas Mooy. More recent releases on ‘Mord', ‘Earwiggle' & ‘Don't' have helped solidify Birken's name to a newer generation. Birken still holds down his classic style of hectic, machine driven style of bleep techno. This release marks the first release on 12 inch, for Argentinian label, Gomboc. The label have been throwing out, high octane techno since 2017 and have been home to artists such as Lars Huismann, Nico Moreno, Umwelt, D. Carbone, Joe Farr, Takaaki Itoh, Lag & more. Birken shares the release with some of techno's most influential names for the Gombocs first vinyl release. The release will be home to Thomas P. Heckmann, Jerome Hill, Martyn Hare & Paul Birken himself. “Four legendary artists that influenced not only us but probably thousands of people. With their own signature sound, each track resembles a unique style. From Acid, to Rave and just pure machinery communication.” Birken's track, Poaching Pickled Parcels, is a distorted piece of machine paradise. Screaming synths lye at the forefront of the track while a pounding a kick drum does its damage. The track is complete with shuffling analogue percussion that simmers in and out of sections of the track. A true hectic piece of hectic dance music, from the king of mayhem. The Manifest Collective follow up their debut release with a 6 track Various Artist EP from some of the countries rising producers. Today we premiere a track from FÍACHRA entitled 'Bad Habits'. Bursting onto the scene back in 2019 throwing parties in Dublin, the crew welcomed the likes of Remco Beekwilder and Thomas P Heckmann to the capital, before Covid put a halt to the world's dance plans. The Manifest Record label is due to launch their second compilation on June 11th, featuring tracks from Carlton Banqs, D.A.L.I.E.N, Libra, RAMKKA and FÍACHRA, whose track we premiere today. FÍACHRA started producing house and techno in his home studio back in 2016, and has since gone on to develop his style towards the harder, fast paced side of acid techno. With a broad taste in music, he takes influence from trance and hard house, among others. As he continued to develop his style, he began releasing tracks on SoundCloud, culminating in his debut '1998' EP on 'Platform Dublin' last year, plus a whole host of labels since. In the wake of the pandemic he formed a collective called 'Express Galway' with hometown friends Shane Gleeson (SMBG) and Tom Fallon, with the aim of promoting mixes and tracks from up and coming Irish DJs and producers. They also plan to release their first Various Artist compilation this year with much more planned under the Express label in the near future. 'Bad Habits' gives a sense of what to expect from the release, as FÍACHRA brings the noise with a slamming hard house track with trance elements throughout, and heavy rave samples ending in a wicked breakdown. Suns out, volume up! Check out the premiere via our SoundCloud page, plus pick up the full Various Artist compilation via Bandcamp.

The Manifest Collective and party starters first shot onto our radar in 2019 with their techno club shows, bookings and parties, welcoming the likes of Remco Beekwilder and Thomas P Heckmann to Dublin. Like the rest of the country and pretty much the world [except those lucky folk in New Zealand], club shows are very much on hold, but that doesn't mean the music has to stop. This month, the team behind the party series will launch their Manifest Record label, which is a brand new venture for the Manifest team, as they aim to work with some of the country's rising and established producers, helping to showcase the immense talent that we have here on this small island of ours. The team will also be branching into the international scene, as they aim to bring a wide variety of electronic sounds and styles to their label and collective. For the debut compilation the Manifest team welcomes Carlton Banqs, Libra, Horrace, Duvz, Furlo, Scurrdurr, Millwall, Revidit, Soul Doubt, Robb McAdam, Deano, Mar and Riipley to the 13 track release. Today we premiere the quite brilliant track from Kildare producer Carlton Banqs, as his dreamy, downtempo track is 6 minutes of soothing electro and breaks fit for a summers morning. What an extraordinary hour of music is up next, folks! The next guest is one of the purveyors of the techno scene in Berlin, SLV, and has the task of opening up the New Year with a fantastic mix. He has been an active and rising star within the German capital over the last few years, and his music has received much accolades amongst the genre's veterans. His latest release is coming out later this month on 2/22, Under Pressure EP, including remixes from none other than two legends, Slam and Thomas P. Heckmann. Inside the studio, SLV has been focusing on producing Soma's official Sample Packs, as well as finishing his own material soon to be out on PLS.UK. For this occasion, his contribution to the series stands out from his recent podcasts by providing a unique and exquisite journey through broken-beats and old-school vibes. No doubt this next hour is one of the most superlative contributions to date, showcasing his eclectic and dynamic musicality. Ladies and gentlemen, this is SLV mixing exclusively for The Erratic Podcast! Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride :) www.slvdemusic.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/slvimprint www.twitter.com/slvimprint www.ra.co/dj/slv-de - Erratic is comprised of a small team of passionate curators hosting proper Techno parties in New York City. www.ErraticNYC.com | www.fb.com/ErraticNYC

Here we have a random vinyl mix up. I think it was recorded at home sometime during late 2002 The track list is a broad selection Techno & Trance tunes you could loosely refer too as classics. Most people who were out rocking during the early 2000's should remember these like the back of their hand. Throughout the 2000's I saw all these guys perform except Wayne G & O.T Quartet. Thomas P Heckmann aka DRAX would be one of my all time favourite artists and definitely one of my biggest overall inspirations. Roughly 30 years into his career he is still going strong. Exclusively from his bandcamp his limited vinyl releases routinely sell out during the presale stage. Which he then labels & posts all around the globe himself. "Thomas P Heckmann" (Quote) Thomas: “All my acid tracks in the past 30 years were done and recorded live in my studio and therefore are more like a live set than a production. It's pure fun for me and seems to never end.” Tracklist -- + > 01. No Good, Start the Dance - Prodigy 02. Voodoo People - Prodigy 03. Verdi - Mauro Picotto 04. I Get Live - Fat Boy Slim 05.
