Did you know in the last few years the medical world has scientifically deducted per research that there IS one leading CAUSE of multiple sclerosis?!Did you know it was Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)Did you know you can get tested and start to rid that from your body NOW?Today's guest is Allaire Schneider.Allaire has a Medical Lab Science (M.L.S.) degree and is also board certified (ASCP). She has written medical journal papers, herself, AND her husband has managed MS for 20 years now while SHE manages Crohn's disease.Allaire believes many people might have EBV as part of their root cause of MS, per the article. More virus means more damaging antibodies made and worsening of MS symptoms. The EBV virus is hard to get rid of like cold sore viruses. They can stay dormant until the immune system is weak & then come out again later. IF you test positive to EBV these antibodies will do damage to your CNS so you would want to address this with your doctor. Interesting note: Even though this was released to the public, EBV testing is NOT part of initial differential MS diagnosis nor is it done annually with MS patients. This is something you will need to do ON YOUR OWN. Teresa Benson joins us today to tell her story. In 2011 an injury started a cascade of unexpected events. She spent 7yrs of trips to neurologists, pulmonologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologist before she turned to an integrative health facility for help. She then started their ozone treatments , IV treatments, lymph massages, herbal protocols, antibiotics and pills to try and stop the uncovered lyme disease that had started to destroy her organs. When these treatments were not stopping the progression they suggested her fly down to Sanoviv Medical Center in Mexico for help. It was there she was treated for lyme disease, mold, mycotoxins and co-infections. She went to the center in a wheelchair and after the 3 week protocol she left walking and feeling great. Shortly after returning, family trauma occurred in her life and it threw her body back into a spiral. This spiral caused her body to shut down once again. She then went back to the integrative medicine clinic where they installed a PICC line through which she was given non-stop IV's. When this did not stop the progression she ended up in a local hospital in 2019 showing signs of Parkinsons and Dementia. At this point she knew she needed to head back to Mexico in 2019 to stop the lyme from attacking her brain further. She left the facility feeling great, once again. Once again after arriving home, she had yet more family trauma. Her sister passed away from untreated lyme disease and it emotionally and physically was too much for Teresa to handle. The lyme in her body came back with vengeance. She was down to 69lbs and had a feeding tube put in. She was told she had 2 adult tape worms and 30 hatching eggs and the treatments could not stop the parasites. They were literally killing her. Her immune system was shot and she could not fight anymore. She was dying of lyme disease before her families eyes when she was introduced to energy work through a friend of her moms. She immediately started working with him over the phone. She had told God that if he healed her body that she would use the rest of her life helping others heal. Within 6 weeks of energy medicine back in 2020 she was completely healed of all her symptoms and has been healthy ever since. She kept up her deal with God and currently has an EES healing studio called E1evate here in Winston Salem, NC. Her mission is to help others with the power of energy medicine and that is exactly what she is doing. Could Epstein Barr virus be the cause of MS?

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 17, 2023 27:47

Epstein-Barr virus is one of the nine known herpesviruses and one of the most common viruses found in humans. It is estimated that approximately 90% of the world´s population is infected with EBV. Infections typically occur in early childhood and are usually asymptomatic. However, when infections occur later in life, they frequently cause infectious mononucleosis (“glandular fever”) and other serious complications. The virus is also associated with certain cancers – approximately 200,000 cancer cases worldwide, including several types of lymphoma, are attributed to EBV. To explore whether there is a link between MS and EBV, a team of researchers studied more than 10 million active duty US military personnel between 1993 and 2013. Dr. Alberto Ascherio from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health led the study. NIH's National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) partly supported the work. The results appeared in Science on January 13, 2022. The results documented that EBV infection is by far the most important risk factor for multiple sclerosis.

These three books lead me to my interest in the similarities in my MS journey and all things they speak on in book. Did you know that YEAST is not just yeast infections and fungus on toenails? Yeast overgrowth is tied to ear and sinus problems, upper respiratory infections, PMS, fibroids, endometriosis, hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia, acne, anxiety, autoimmune diseases, fibromyalgia, lupis, autism, cancer and mental illnesses.. list goes on. YEAST is not talked about because western medicine continues to quietly ignore the connection between yeast overgrowth & overuse of prescription drugs, especially antibiotics and steroids, and other common offenders like diet and the air we breath. Fungus burrows its roots in the intestinal lining and creates leaky gut.. porous openings in the gut lining..which allows the fungus and byproducts to escape into our blood stream.

What has microbiome research told us about MS? To prevent MS, we need to understand what causes it. 50 years of research has taught us that genes and environment and lifestyle factors like vitamin D, smoking and infections are important, but not the whole story. Experts think the gut microbiome might have a role by triggering or ramping up the immune system's faulty response in MS. Over the past decade or so, they have begun to appreciate how much communication there is between the brain and the gut. They're in contact all the time. On top of this, there's the gut microbiome, which is what we call all the bacteria, fungi and other microbes that live in our digestive system. It's strange to think about, but there are actually more bacterial cells inside the human body than human cells! These trillions of bacteria can change how our bodies work, including our immune systems and brains.
