Interviews with local leaders and healers in the Michiana Community
During this live recording session, Dr. Dé Bryant, Ph.D. interviews gxldsoulrebel on this month's topic of, "Where is Home?". This live interview took place at The Rocki Button 1/17/24. Where is Home? As we journey through life, we are given the opportunity to make many choices. One of these blessings is the freedom to chose what is “home” to us. It's a decision that carries great weight and significance, as it ultimately shapes our sense of belonging and identity. But have you ever stopped to wonder what that means to others? If you have, we invite you to join us at our upcoming event, “Identity and Belonging: Where is Home?” We will delve deeper into this topic and gain insights from different individuals sharing their stories and experiences. Be prepared to be enlightened, inspired, and uplifted as we explore the intricate and meaningful connections between family, home, and personal identity. Dr. Dé Bryant, Ph.D. Email: dbryant@iusb.edu Website: restforourweary.com Facebook: SOCAT Instagram: @SOCAT gxldsoulrebel is an Alternative Hip-Hop artist from South Bend, Indiana. First establishing love for a love for music in elementary school, he's now developed into an artist who values verses and chorus packed with metaphors and similes paired with an intent to point to something deeper and introspective, his style reflects his love of the sub- categories of Rap music. His consistency and work ethic has lead to him performing numerous times around South Bend and surrounding cities. Even in performing as far out as New York. If there one was one phrase to describe the message and purpose of Gxld's music it would be “to express the significance of knowledge of one's self thru one's own experiences.” Links: https://songwhip.com/gxldsoulrebel/maze linktr.ee/gxldsoulrebel

However, it is important to understand how loss changes us over time and to give ourselves permission to grieve at our own pace. Moving forward doesn't mean we're disregarding the things that were important to us, but it does give us way to Use the energy of grief in a constructive way.
