Shame.  Shame is absorbed in narcissistic family systems, passed down through generations, and stored in the energetic field.  When shame is your dominant frequency, you can't hold love, safety, expansion, or healthy relationships — no matter how much “work” you've done.  In this podcast, I share the one thing that actually breaks the cycle — dissolving shame at the root.  you'll learn: 1. Why shame is the lowest frequency in the energetic field  2. Why shame is not who you are — and never was  3. How narcissistic family systems unconsciously keep shame alive through gaslighting and invalidation  4. A simple but powerful practice you can use today to stop absorbing shame and start dissolving it    This is Part 1 of a two-part series. Today we explore why dissolving shame is essential.    In the next podcast I'll show you how to fully end the cycle of shame — practically and energetically. Ready to stop repeating the pattern? This is the work we do inside my community IT ENDS WITH ME — a space for cycle-breakers healing shame in real relationship, not isolation. Inside the community we focus on: Healing the nervous system after emotional abuse Inner child healing and re-parenting Rewiring survival-based beliefs Creating love, safety, success, and family from the heart — not trauma patterns Join here :

We explore why high-achieving entrepreneurs know what to do but can't take action - and how nervous system regulation unlocks aligned, pleasure-fueled success.Theresa shares how years of accumulated knowledge couldn't translate into action until she healed her nervous system, the shift from masculine striving to feminine receiving, and why EFT Tapping and Hypnotherapy can be supportive.About Theresa:Theresa Lear Levine is an EFT Master Practitioner, hypnotherapist, and founder of Becoming More You. Her coaching program helps high-achieving ADHD entrepreneurs heal past trauma, release limiting beliefs, and align with abundance to create pleasure-fueled lives and businesses - free from anxiety and overwhelm. She works primarily with midlife women and busy-minded entrepreneurs who want to come back into coherence with the Truth of who they are.Key Insights from our conversation:The Invisible Wall Between Knowing and DoingTheresa had years of knowledge and certifications but couldn't take action. Why? Her nervous system and subconscious blocks were throwing up roadblocks. Once she created a felt sense of safety through nervous system work, everything became actionable. From Striving to ReceivingWe're stuck in masculine energy: hustle, strive, achieve. But it's not fulfilling. The shift to feminine energy—receiving, allowing, trusting—creates relaxed, pleasure-fueled success. Why We Stay FrozenWhen we make decisions from a dysregulated nervous system, they come from scarcity and pressure. We know what to do, but we're frozen. Nervous system regulation creates the safety needed to move forward.EFT Tapping & HypnotherapyEFT: Tapping on meridian points while addressing emotional blocks. Releases stored trauma and limiting beliefs.Hypnotherapy: Accesses the subconscious mind at different brainwave states. The subconscious often reveals what's really blocking you—different from what you consciously think. The Power of PresenceYour energy can only be used in the present moment. Anxiety about the future or ruminating on the past dilutes your power. The only place you have any power is right here, right now.The Only Constant is ChangeLife is an evolution. We can only change toward our desires when we accept where we're at. When we stay in "there's something wrong with me," that story just gets bigger.Connect with Theresa & Free Resources:https://becomingmoreme.com/https://theresalearlevine.com/https://www.instagram.com/theresalearlevine/Becoming More Me Skool Community: https://www.skool.com/becoming-more-me-community/aboutBook a Call: https://gamechangingconversation.comFavorite Quotes from our conversation:

Have you ever noticed that right when things start going well… you freeze, procrastinate, pull back, or self-sabotage?  You're finally getting positive feedback. Opportunities are opening. Money, love, or momentum starts to arrive. And suddenly… your nervous system slams the brakes. In this episode, I'm breaking down why your nervous system self-sabotages when things are going well, especially if you're a sensitive, empath, cycle breaker, or someone who grew up in an unsafe or emotionally charged environment. This isn't because you're lazy, broken, or not meant for more. It's because receiving—love, money, visibility, safety—can feel unsafe to a nervous system that learned survival through over-doing, people-pleasing, or staying small. I talk about:

What if the real reason you can't hear your intuition is that there hasn't been enough space to listen? If your intuition feels quiet (or chaotic) you're not alone. In this potent episode, Jessica welcomes back medium and spiritual teacher Taylor Paige for an expansive conversation on what it truly takes to connect with your intuitive gifts in our fast-paced, overstimulated world.Together, they explore why nervous system regulation is the gateway to intuition and spiritual awakening, how “clearing the cobwebs” of mental noise is a non-negotiable step, and how healing the spirit wound allows you to reclaim your power as your own oracle. Taylor shares the link between nervous system work, intuition, and manifestation, and reminds us that intuition isn't something a select few are born with. It's something we all carry. If you've ever thought, “I just don't have intuition,” this conversation gently invites you to reconsider that limiting belief. From getting comfortable with silence, allowing emotions to move through you, and understanding how your healing ripples outward, to realizing that the pings and downloads you've been waiting for may have been knocking all along, there's something in this conversation meant to meet you exactly where you are.Find the complete show notes here -> https://tobemagnetic.com/expanded-podcast Resources: Return to Magic - 15 Day Manifestation ChallengeA 15-day guided journey to reparent your inner child, reconnect with your magic, and step into this new year as your most confident, regulated, and magnetic self yet. In this conversation, I sit down with Dr. Alexandra Johnson, a family physician who integrates Breema body work and functional medicine into primary care, to explore how fear manifests in the body—and what we can do about it.What You'll Learn:Why anxiety and fear aren't just "in your head"—they live in your body as tension, and what that means for your healthThe ancient practice of Breema body work and its nine principles of harmonyWhy traditional anxiety treatments often fall short (and what's missing)How disconnection from ourselves creates the conditions for chronic anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, and moreThe difference between pain and suffering—and how to reduce suffering even when pain is presentSimple, practical nervous system resets you can do anywhere (including a guided self-Breema practice)How to use discomfort as medicine rather than something to push awayWhy "being comfortable in your body" is actually a revolutionary actKey Themes:This episode explores the intersection of Ayurveda, somatic work, and Breema—revealing how these ancient systems share a common understanding: that healing happens when we reconnect mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Johnson shares her unique approach to supporting patients through chronic conditions like constipation, migraines, and anxiety by addressing not just the physical symptoms, but the deeper disconnection from self.We talk about the power of presence, the principle of "no judgment," and how everything we consume—from food to media to experiences—becomes something our bodies must digest. This conversation is a beautiful reminder that you don't need expensive supplements or complicated protocols to begin healing. Sometimes, the most profound shifts come from the simplest practices: taking a breath, asking "can I be more comfortable?", and coming home to your body.About Dr. Alexandra Johnson:Dr. Alexandra Johnson is a family physician who integrates Breema body work and functional medicine into primary care. For Dr. Jaz Robbins, the nervous system is “the soapbox that I live, die on, breathe in.” In this conversation with hosts Bridgette Stumpf and Lindsey Silverberg, Dr. Jaz explains why. “In the work that I do with my patients in therapy, I'm aiming to balance their nervous system as opposed to targeting a single symptom, sleep or something, because I know that when the nervous system is balanced, all of those other symptoms will dissipate,” she says. A board-certified holistic nutritionist, professor, author – and a trauma survivor – Dr. Jaz describes her “traffic light” framework for understanding different states in the nervous system: green when the body is in a state of “rest and digest”; yellow when the body is in “fight or flight”; and red when the body has been in yellow for too long and is now “zapped of resources.” She offers another metaphor as well, comparing self-maintenance to changing the oil in your car. “We need to be doing things for ourselves so that our ‘Check Engine' light doesn't come on.”What kind of things? In this special client-takeover episode of The Doctor Coach School™ Podcast, we hear from Dr. Michelle Welch, a physician by training and inner work coach by evolution, who supports women over 35 living with chronic, medically unexplained pain. This conversation is for caregivers and high-functioning women who have done “all the right things,” undergone extensive testing, followed medical recommendations, and yet continue to live with daily pain that disrupts their identity, confidence, and ability to fully participate in life.Dr. Michelle offers a deeply compassionate and nuanced perspective on chronic pain that goes beyond symptom management. Drawing from both her clinical background and her personal journey with unexplained pain, she explores how prolonged stress, caregiving, emotional load, and nervous system dysregulation can shape the body's experience of pain, even when scans and tests come back “normal.”Rather than framing pain as something to fight or eliminate, this episode invites a new question: What might the body be trying to protect you from? What You'll Learn in This EpisodeWhy chronic pain can persist even when medical tests show no clear causeHow prolonged stress and caregiving can keep the nervous system in survival modeThe difference between pain caused by injury and pain driven by nervous system threat perceptionWhy pain is real even when danger is notHow chronic pain can quietly erode identity, confidence, and self-trustThe role of fight-or-flight physiology in long-term pain patternsWhy symptom management alone often isn't enoughHow restoring a felt sense of safety in the body supports true healingWhy capacity, not productivity, is the foundation for recoveryDr. Michelle introduces her Capacity Framework, a compassionate approach designed to support women over 35 who live with chronic, unexplained pain and long histories of caregiving and overperforming. The framework focuses on:Rebuilding internal safetyIncreasing nervous system toleranceProcessing long-held emotional and physiological loadRestoring agency, self-trust, and functionExpanding life gradually and sustainablyRather than replacing medical care, this work complements it, helping women move from constant high alert to a state where the body no longer needs to “shout” through pain to be heard. If you are living with chronic pain that has no clear medical explanation, your pain is real.Sometimes healing doesn't begin with fixing the body, but with listening deeply enough that the body no longer needs to scream.Connect With Dr. MichelleLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelle-welch-406a126a/TikTok: @DrMichelle.TheJoyfulRXPodcast: The JoyfulRx PodcastLet's Connect: On Instagram On Facebook On LinkedIn On TikTok On my website

This episode is not about telling anyone what they should do with their family relationships. It's about understanding patterns, reclaiming choice, and recognizing that protecting your nervous system is essential for your wellness. We dive into narcissism, personality disorders, and the spectrum within which Jerry believes narcissism falls. We explore low, middle, and high-anxiety family systems, clarify why self-differentiation is critically important, and how long-term nervous system dysregulation often occurs when we grow up in narcissistic homes. We also cover trauma bonding, the impact of avoidance, the role of boundaries, and cultural myths around honoring our parents, and I answer some rapid-fire questions tailored explicitly to Jerry's expertise. I have wanted to interview Jerry for the podcast for a long time, and this is one of those truly impactful and deeply personal episodes. IN THIS EPISODE, YOU WILL LEARN: How narcissistic parents differ from other types of parents The developmental switches that get turned off in those growing up with narcissistic parents Intergenerational trauma and how it impacts nervous system regulation and emotional health How self-differentiation can help individuals manage their emotional systems Challenges of setting boundaries with narcissistic parents Why internal boundaries are essential How avoidance can become a coping mechanism for dealing with uncomfortable feelings The importance of maintaining reality and not giving up on your true self to honor your parents and/or meet their expectations Strategies for managing family dynamics and reducing chronic anxiety Connect with Cynthia Thurlow   Follow on X, Instagram & LinkedIn Check out Cynthia's website Submit your questions to support@cynthiathurlow.com Join other like-minded women in a supportive, nurturing community: The Midlife Pause/Cynthia Thurlow  Cynthia's Menopause Gut Book is on presale now! In this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Sayan sits down with Gazit Chaya Nkosi to explore what it truly takes to move from surviving to genuinely living. Gazit shares a raw, grounded journey through long-term suicidal thinking, sensory sensitivity, trauma responses, and the slow return to inner trust. This conversation is for anyone who feels stuck in anxiety, shutdown, reactivity, shame, or the pressure to “push through.” You will hear practical insight on why talk therapy alone can miss the body's needs, how nervous system regulation changes everything, and how to find a path beyond rigid cultural rules into real self-worth. About the Guest: Gazit Chaya Nkosi is a coach and mystic seeker who works with Safe and Sound Protocol listening and somatic parts work. They share lived experience with trauma, sensory sensitivity, and reclaiming a life that feels safe and authentic. Key Takeaways: Notice how “push through” often creates more shutdown, not more strength Separate your inner truth from cultural rules about gender, worth, and safety Use bottom-up tools (breath, movement, sound, mindfulness) to support regulation Understand reactivity and dissociation as survival responses, not personal failure Explore somatic parts work to reduce inner conflict and build integration Build safety in the body first, then the mind can follow How to Connect With the Guest: Website: https://www.therootedcoop.com/  YouTube: The Rooted Co-op Free inquiry calls and resources are available through the website. I'm joined by Irina Vlada for an honest conversation about healing, nervous system regulation, and what real integration actually looks like when working with psychedelics and other therapeutic tools. Irina helps people navigate transformation at the intersection of psychedelics, spirituality, psychology, and wellness. I met her earlier this year at Rythmia, and after spending time with her and diving deeper into her work, I knew I had to bring her on the show. Irina has over a decade of experience as a coach and facilitator, and from 2020 to 2022, she worked as an Integration Coach with Mindbloom, guiding more than 200 clients through preparation and integration for ketamine-assisted therapy. In our conversation, she's clear about one thing: psychedelic medicine isn't the work itself. Real transformation happens afterward, through integration, embodiment, and taking actionable steps that rewire habits, thoughts, and the nervous system. Without that process, insight can fade just as quickly as it arrives. We also talk about why ancient practices like breathwork and meditation are such powerful tools for healing trauma, regulating the nervous system, and expanding awareness, often without needing altered states at all. And for anyone curious but skeptical about psychedelics, Irina emphasizes the importance of safety, education, preparation, and the willingness to surrender to the process. In this episode, you'll hear: How Irina bridges psychedelics, spirituality, psychology, and wellness through lived experience and ethical practice (4:05) Her personal path to self-awareness and healing, including trauma and the long road of recovery (5:47) What ketamine-assisted therapy involves, why integration matters, and how insight without action quickly fades (17:21) How meditation, breathwork, yoga, and nervous system regulation create real, lasting change without psychedelics (25:06) What Irina emphasizes for people who feel skeptical or unsure about psychedelics from a therapeutic standpoint (44:39) Resources from this episode:  Write Your Way Through It Come see me in Costa Rica at Rythmia Ayahuasca Retreat in January! What if the way your needs were met in infancy still shapes your ability to feel safe, seen, and supported today?Welcome to the end-of-year challenge: The Return to Magic. Today, Lacy, Jessica, and EMDR-certified LMFT Janelle dive deep into the foundation of all manifestation work: your earliest subconscious blueprint set in childhood. This episode explores the powerful programming from ages zero to 18 months. It's a period most people don't remember, but it's when your soul touched down into your human body—and profoundly shapes who you are today. This early stage is where safety, secure relationships, and boundaries are formed, and Janelle helps us understand how the presence (or absence) of these things can leave us feeling out of balance. This conversation is a reminder that our TBM practice is here to bring us back to our most whole selves. We are not destined to stay stuck in old patterns or loops that don't serve us. We can start from the very beginning and manifest the lives we're meant to embody. This is the work that changes everything. It's time to return to your magic.Find the complete show notes here -> https://tobemagnetic.com/expanded-podcast Resources: Big End of Year SALE - 30% off Annual and Monthly Subscriptions Return to Magic - 15 Day Manifestation ChallengeA 15-day guided journey to reparent your inner child, reconnect with your magic, and step into this new year as your most confident, regulated, and magnetic self yet.
