Changing your identity starts with realizing identity and manifestation aren't two separate journeys; they're the same one. My love, the life you're living right now is not happening to you. It's happening because of you. Not because you're broken, not because you're cursed, not because you're behind, but because your reality is a mirror, reflecting back exactly what you believe about yourself right now. Most people spend their whole life trying to change what they see in the mirror, new job, new relationship, new city, new body, and wonder why nothing shifts. It's because identity equals decision, and decision equals reality. There are three stages of consciousness you're cycling through without even realizing it, and until you see which one is actually running your choices, no amount of affirmations or vision boards will move the needle.Episode Takeaways:Recognize the three stages of consciousness, the 3D, 4D, and 5D, and notice which one is quietly running your decisionsUnderstand why identity equals decision, and decision equals reality, not destinyStop mistaking affirmations, vision boards, and manifestation techniques for actual identity workTrust that the 4D awakening state isn't failure, it's the portal where your miracles are builtSee how one Manifesting Miracles Academy member manifested $16,000 by changing who she believed she was, not by getting luckyWhen you stop trying to fix the reflection and start changing what's standing in front of the mirror, everything shifts. You stop grinding, proving, and performing your way toward a life that already feels exhausting before it starts. You become the version of you who trusts herself, who receives without flinching, who knows the universe isn't something to convince but something to create with. That's not a fantasy. That's what happens when your identity actually changes. What if the very thing you've been hiding is the key to unlocking everything you want? In this episode, Lacy and Jessica explore a gentler chapter of manifestation: one rooted in authenticity, self-trust, and coming home to who you truly are. They share updates from the Be Seen Challenge and unpack the subtle ways we hide: people-pleasing, over-explaining, perfectionism, and chasing external validation. True visibility isn't about being louder or more performative — it's about feeling safe enough to own your desires, trust your intuition, and let your authentic self become your strongest signal. Plus, they answer listener questions on confidence, manifestation tests, relationship shadows, finances, and embodying the liberating “f*ck it” energy that comes from truly trusting yourself. Ready to tap into what's waiting to be seen? Take the Be Seen Challenge kickoff quiz (also in the TBM app) and discover the places in your life that are ready to transform. Send us Fan MailYour breath is doing more than keeping you alive. It might be the fastest way back to your body, your truth, and the parts of you that have been running the show from the shadows. We sit down with Dr. Colleen Quinn, transpersonal psychologist and author of Essence Merging, to talk about conscious breathwork as a bridge between psychology and spiritual healing. We unpack the difference between simple breathing and using breath as a doorway into deeper awareness, including why so many “helpful” tools can still feel like band-aids when trauma and unprocessed emotion live in the nervous system. Dr. Quinn shares how breathwork can surface forgotten memories and patterns at a pace you can handle, creating enough safety to finally feel what was once overwhelming and to complete the body's stuck survival responses. We also dig into language and intention as real forces in mind-body health. Dr. Quinn explains why “I am” statements can quietly turn passing states into fixed identities, how hidden intentions shape outcomes like scarcity vs abundance, and why physical symptoms can reflect emotional energy that never got to move. Along the way, she offers grounded practices you can use immediately: returning to the breath, restoring genuine connection through eye contact and consensual touch, giving affirmations more freely, and using the mantra “sat nam” (“I am that which I gaze upon”) as a simple daily anchor for presence. If you're exploring breathwork for trauma healing, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, or spiritual growth, this conversation gives you language, stories, and practical next steps. What if the parts of yourself you've spent years trying to ignore are actually invitations to healing? In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Alison Cook to explore how understanding the different "parts" of your heart can help you experience deeper healing, greater emotional freedom, and a more secure relationship with God. We talk about why certain situations trigger old emotions, how to respond to yourself with curiosity instead of shame, and why tending your soul is less about fixing yourself and more about learning to lovingly care for the hidden places God wants to heal. Send us Fan MailYour mind can be ready for healing while your body is still bracing for impact. If you've ever thought, “Why am I doing the work but still feel tense?” or “Why does rest make me feel guilty?” I'm speaking straight to that gap between what you know and what your nervous system believes.I walk through a simple, trauma-informed way to understand why real healing can feel subtle and slow. When you've spent years pushing through, being the dependable one, or learning that support isn't safe, your body may need time to test the room before it relaxes. That doesn't mean you're broken. It means your system is wise, and somatic healing starts with safety, not pressure. We also talk about the difference between forcing and inviting, and why “more” isn't always the answer. If you're stuck in the cycle of another course, another reading, another deep dive, I offer a grounded reset: water, breath, a walk outside, turning your phone off, saying no, eating real food, and letting yourself feel your emotions without turning rest into a productivity strategy. I share three reflection questions you can sit with to build nervous system regulation and hear your intuition through the body's signals. If this hits home, share it with a friend who's tired of fighting themselves, then subscribe and leave a review so more people can find gentle, practical support. How do you break free from emotional eating, binge eating, or food addiction when willpower isn't enough? Could hormone imbalances, nervous system dysregulation, childhood experiences, and hidden emotional triggers be the real reasons you're struggling with food?In this episode, I sit down with Amber Romaniuk to explore the real differences between emotional eating, binge eating, bulimia, and food addiction, and why understanding those distinctions is the first step toward lasting healing. Amber shares her deeply personal story of struggling with all of these challenges throughout her life, from the childhood experiences that shaped her relationship with food to the rock-bottom moment that inspired her to completely turn things around for the better. We talk about why dieting, restriction, and relying on willpower often only make the cycle worse, and how so many people blame themselves when the real issues go far beyond food. She also explains the root causes behind self-sabotage with food, and we discuss how hormone imbalances, neurotransmitter dysfunction, blood sugar instability, gut health, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation can all contribute to overwhelming cravings and loss of control around eating. We explore why simply changing what you eat isn't always enough, how to identify your personal triggers, and why building self-awareness, self-care, and emotional resilience creates a much stronger foundation for healing than chasing another diet ever could. If you've ever felt frustrated that you're doing everything "right" but still feel stuck with food challenges or your weight, this episode offers a compassionate, root-cause approach that can help you understand what's really happening beneath the surface.Disclaimer: This information is being provided to you for educational and informational purposes only. Learn about the Healing Power of Prolonged Fasting: HEREWhat if the moment that shattered the life you carefully built became the moment that showed you what healing really is?This episode is a little different. Instead of sitting in the host seat, I'm the one answering the questions. My dear friend and colleague, Dr. Nasha Winters invited me onto her podcast, Tend the Terrain, for a conversation that went somewhere I didn't expect. It got honest. It got deeply personal. And it went straight to the heart of why I left a 20-year career as a radiation oncologist at the top of my field and what I found on the other side.I'm sharing it here because I think you need to hear it.We get into something I've rarely talked about in this much depth: a shared death experience I had in 2020 that fundamentally changed me. Not just personally, but in how I understand illness, healing, and what the body may be trying to communicate when it gets sick.If you've ever felt like your diagnosis is something happening to you, this conversation may help you see your body differently.Chapters:04:15 - The Crack in the Foundation06:38 - Sitting With Death08:29 - When the Soul Let Go10:08 - Proof She Could Not Ignore13:16 - Leaving Conventional Oncology14:30 - Why Illness Carries a Message16:30 - Healing the Human First18:41 - Why Fasting Became the Path19:02 - The Four Things Healers Do21:19 - Stop Your World to Heal23:14 - What Happens Inside the Fast24:55 - The Deep Healing After Day Seven27:00 - Refeeding Matters Most32:00 - Why Doctors Feel the System Breaking34:01 - Food as the First Foundation36:13 - The Ripple That Could Change Cancer Care36:50 - Holding Peace While Healing OthersWe also go deep into prolonged water fasting, not as a trend, but as a biological and spiritual tool for healing. I walk through what's happening in the body from the first 36 hours through the deeper work that only begins after day seven. I also explain why fasting at this depth is not something to improvise alone, and why proper guidance and refeeding matter so much. There's a reason I've built my current practice around this work, and it's not the reason most people assume.By the end, you'll understand why the four things I've seen again and again in people who heal are not what conventional medicine ever taught me to look for.Press play and learn why your body was never broken to begin with, and what it may have been waiting for you to understand.Tend The Terrain™ Podcast with Dr. Nasha: https://www.youtube.com/@drnashawintersJoin Dr. Katie's 3-Day Guided Fast, for expert support, daily live calls, and a community to fast alongside: Sign-Up Follow Dr. Katie Deming on InstagramWatch on YoutubeDISCLAIMER: The Born to Heal Podcast is intended for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for seeking professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. One of the biggest lies in the healing world… is that eventually you're supposed to arrive at a place where nothing triggers you anymore. No fear.No spiraling. No discomfort. No uncertainty. No emotional activation. But what if healing was never actually about becoming perfectly regulated? In this episode, we're talking about the truth about nervous system healing, survival mode, self-trust, emotional capacity, and why so many women accidentally get trapped in endless “healing” cycles without ever fully stepping into their lives. We dive into:why healing is not the final destinationhow women unconsciously build identities around staying brokenthe difference between nervous system stabilization and true expansionwhy your nervous system needs BOTH safety and stretch to transformhow somatic reprogramming changes your relationship to life itselfthe subtle signs your nervous system is actually healingwhy the first thing that changes is usually not your circumstances… but your relationship TO themWe also explore:the “healing loop” that keeps women hyper-focused on fixing themselveswhy manifestation and nervous system work often miss each otheremotional capacity, self-trust, and embodied sovereigntyhow to stop abandoning yourself during uncertaintywhat it actually means to become “unshakeable”Because eventually healing stops being about avoiding triggers…and starts becoming about building the capacity to remain connected to yourself while life expands.Your nervous system needs enough safety to stop surviving…and enough expansion to remember what's possible.✨ Over the next season of the podcast, we'll be diving even deeper into somatic reprogramming, identity, nervous system expansion, self-trust, and what it really takes to hold bigger levels of life without collapsing back into survival mode.If this episode resonated, share it with a friend or leave a review

Many people focus exclusively on their symptoms when trying to heal anxiety, fatigue, brain fog, chronic pain, dizziness, digestive issues, or other neuroplastic symptoms. But symptom work is only one side of the healing equation. In this episode, Ali introduces the concept of emotional tending—the practice of regularly acknowledging and caring for your emotional world before your body has to get your attention through symptoms. You'll learn why nervous system healing isn't just about reducing fear around symptoms, but also about understanding the underlying emotional patterns that may keep the brain feeling unsafe in the first place. Ali discusses emotional repression, the hidden burden of being the strong one, and how unacknowledged emotions can contribute to chronic stress and nervous system activation. She also shares practical ways to begin tending to your emotional life without overanalyzing yourself or becoming consumed by your feelings. In this episode, you'll learn: What emotional tending is and why it matters The two sides of neuroplastic healing How emotional repression can impact the nervous system Why high-achieving and caregiving personalities often struggle with emotional tending The difference between emotional processing and emotional rumination Practical ways to create emotional awareness in daily life Why symptoms may sometimes be a signal that something deeper needs attention Plus, Ali shares a guided emotional processing exercise to help you begin practicing emotional tending for yourself. What would change in your life if you stopped waiting for permission and finally trusted yourself? In this episode, Lacy, Jessica, and Janelle explore one of the most transformative energies in manifestation: the unapologetic self-worth that comes from fully being yourself. As the community moves through the Be Seen Challenge, they unpack the collective themes emerging right now: navigating uncertainty in a rapidly changing world, releasing outdated beliefs around success, hustle, relationships, visibility, and identity. They dive into the fears that keep us hidden and cover nervous system regulation, shadow work, authenticity, burnout, and manifestation. Plus, they break down why "fuck it" energy isn't about recklessness — it's about arriving at a place where your worth is no longer up for debate. Your authenticity is your greatest signal to the universe. The life, love, opportunities, and freedom you're after often begin the moment you stop abandoning yourself and allow yourself to truly be seen. Four Soul Types, Nervous System Healing, and Hayley Enright's Remote Energy Work Acupuncturist and energy worker Hayley Enright has given 16,000+ treatments and founded four studios in three countries. In this episode, we discuss her remote energy-work modality and how she perceives information by seeing, feeling, and knowing through her subtle senses. Hayley explains her framework of four soul types: earth souls, interplanetary, angelics (wounded and savior), and "light souls". Understanding which type a client is deepens her ability to support their nervous system and guide more effective healing and support. We explore themes of belonging, neurodivergence, grounding, sensitivity, boundaries, trauma and forgiveness for angelics, and whether "NPCs" exist. Hayley also shares her fascinating past/future healer memories. This is a don't miss episode for those interested in spiritual awakening, ascension, and soul purpose. You're not just a people pleaser. You're running a survival response your nervous system learned to keep you safe. Most of us were taught that being agreeable, flexible, and endlessly giving was a virtue. Meg Josephson, a licensed psychotherapist and author of the New York Times bestselling book Are You Mad At Me?, says that pattern is actually a trauma response, and it's running your relationships, your sense of self, and your inner world without you even realizing it. The fawn response is the fourth threat response, alongside fight, flight, and freeze. It's the one we never get punished for. We get applauded. And that applause is exactly what makes it so hard to break. Meg breaks down the six archetypes it can take: the peacekeeper, the performer, the perfectionist, the chameleon, the caretaker, and the lone wolf. What it costs you isn't just your time or your boundaries. It's your identity. When you spend years morphing yourself to be liked in every room, you stop knowing what you actually want, feel, or believe. Meg went to a store after college and realized she didn't know her own favorite color. That's the depth of self-erasure people pleasing creates. The path out starts with one counterintuitive skill: learning to tolerate discomfort. Not fixing, not performing, not self-optimizing. Just pausing long enough to notice what's happening beneath the fawn response, and choosing something different. Are You Mad At Me? In this heartfelt episode of The Spiritual Cupcake Podcast, Candace shares a beautiful conversation with her friend Magda about creating a life and home that feels intentional, soulful, and truly your own. Magda has been lovingly beautifying her forest home — bespokeing every detail, handcrafting spaces with care, personality, and warmth. From the outside, everything looked peaceful and stunning. But then she discovered a martin had made its way deep inside the walls and created a nest hidden within the home. At first, she tried to handle it herself. But eventually, she realized she needed to call in an expert — someone with wisdom, experience, and the ability to help with what was happening beneath the surface. Candace reflects on how deeply this mirrors our own lives. We can style our hair, nourish our skin, decorate our homes, curate our wardrobes, buy beautiful things, and work hard to create lives that look peaceful from the outside. But sometimes, inside us, there are still hidden places carrying old pain, fear, grief, stress, or unresolved emotions quietly nesting in the background. This episode is a gentle reminder that healing is not about perfection. Even the cleanest, most beautiful homes become messy simply from being lived in. The same is true for us. Life happens. Emotions build up. Experiences leave marks. The goal is not to become flawless — it's to become aware. Candace talks about the importance of checking in with ourselves, tending to the hidden rooms within, and allowing ourselves support when needed. Sometimes our own rituals, practices, and self-awareness help us move through things. And sometimes healing asks us to reach out to someone with deeper expertise to guide us through the murky places we cannot navigate alone. This episode is about inner peace, emotional honesty, self-awareness, and creating a life that feels beautiful not just on the outside, but deep within the walls of who we are.

What if the exhaustion, irritability, overwhelm, and restlessness you're experiencing in midlife aren't signs that something is wrong—but messages your body is trying to send? For many women, these symptoms are rooted in chronic stress in women over 40, a growing health concern that impacts everything from hormones and sleep to mood, energy, and overall well-being.In this powerful episode of the V.I.B.E. Living Podcast, Lynnis Woods-Mullins sits down with psychotherapist, holistic coach, yoga philosophy teacher, and author Catia Batalha to explore how chronic stress affects women over 40 and what many are truly craving beneath the surface: a regulated nervous system, healthier boundaries, deeper self-trust, and a renewed connection to their inner wisdom.Together, they unpack why modern life keeps so many women stuck in chronic stress and survival mode, and how ancient yoga philosophy offers a pathway back to balance, healing, and self-discovery. You'll learn why yoga is about far more than physical flexibility, how meditation and relaxation create space for clarity and truth, and why listening to your body's wisdom may be one of the most important skills of midlife. This conversation also takes a deep dive into boundaries—not as a trendy self-help concept, but as essential physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual protection. Catia shares practical insights on navigating relationships, work pressures, personal growth, and the courage it takes to stop living for external validation and start living in alignment with your authentic self.Whether you're navigating menopause, burnout, life transitions, anxiety, people-pleasing, or simply feeling called to something more, this episode offers compassionate guidance and practical tools for creating a calmer, more empowered life.In This Episode:✔ Nervous system regulation for women over 40✔ How chronic stress impacts your health and decision-making✔ The deeper meaning of yoga philosophy beyond physical poses✔ Meditation and relaxation practices for emotional healing✔ Setting healthy boundaries without guilt✔ Empowerment vs. victim mentality in midlife✔ Reconnecting with intuition and body wisdom✔ Midlife transformation, healing, and personal growth✔ Trauma recovery and self-discovery✔ Insights from Catia's novel, Echoes of the TimelessIf you're ready to stop pushing through and start listening to what your mind, body, and spirit truly need, this episode is for you.
What if fear isn't the sign to stop… but the sign that your nervous system is expanding beyond who it's been conditioned to be?In this episode, I'm joined by Reiki Master, intuitive energy healer, and author Hannah Bruns for a deeply honest conversation about fear, self-trust, nervous system regulation, manifestation, and what it actually means to “do it scared.”Because let's be real: most women are not struggling because they don't know what they want. They're struggling because their nervous system doesn't yet feel SAFE holding the life they desire.Inside this conversation, we explore:the difference between intuition and fearwhy manifestation isn't just about “thinking positive”what happens when your nervous system secretly fears successhow self-trust is built through action, not perfectionthe subtle ways women sabotage their growth without realizing itwhy doing the scary thing can actually become addictive in the best wayhow to stay grounded when your nervous system is freaking out during expansionWe also talk about:rewiring the brain through repetition and lived experienceemotional healing + energetic healing working togetherwhy so many women struggle to RECEIVE the things they manifestthe “frequency of fun” and why joy matters more than people realizehow fear, expansion, and manifestation are all deeply connectedThis episode is for the woman who knows she's meant for more…but feels stuck between the comfort of the familiar and the fear of becoming someone new.Because the truth is: your nervous system needs enough safety to stop surviving…and enough expansion to remember what's possible.Connect with Hannah: Instagram | Tik TokJoin the WhatsApp group for her Costa Rica trip happening Nov. 15–22: Costa Rica WhatsAppBuy her Journal: the self help detox journalIf this episode felt like I was reading your mind… this is where you start.1.

Step into a raw, powerful, and deeply embodied conversation about what works… with Grant Dziak, human performance and nervous system strategist, on this episode of Intimate Conversations: Dark Night to Divine Light. Grant is the founder of The Forged Method, helping high-functioning individuals stop white-knuckling life and start leading from a regulated, embodied, and deeply self-aware state. His work bridges neuroscience, behavioral change, somatics, and emotional integration with a grounded, no-BS approach to healing and transformation. Grant shares the painful experiences that shaped his path, including growing up with an abusive alcoholic father, being surrounded by strong women he longed to protect, and carrying deep childhood wounds around safety, responsibility, and self-worth. He opens up about the moment he discovered his sister had been assaulted as a child only feet away from him, and how that trauma quietly shaped his nervous system, identity, and relationship with masculinity for years. We explore how his journey began through fitness coaching, but quickly evolved into something far deeper. Grant realized that discipline alone could never override nervous system dysregulation. Some clients followed every protocol yet remained stuck in cycles of stress, sabotage, inflammation, and emotional collapse, while others who felt safer and more connected began transforming effortlessly. That realization became the foundation of his life's work. The conversation moves into intuition, emotional intelligence, and the profound ability to hear what people are not saying. Grant shares how years of understanding his own pain opened an extraordinary capacity to feel others deeply, often sensing hidden truths, suppressed emotions, and unconscious patterns before they were ever spoken aloud. Together, we explore the sacred responsibility of holding space for people to finally tell the truth their body has been carrying. We also dive deeply into nervous system regulation, trauma integration, and the difference between reacting from survival versus responding from presence. Grant explains how regulation is not about suppressing emotion, but about creating enough internal safety to actually feel, process, and integrate what has been stored in the body for years. Together, we unpack how healing requires both self-regulation and safe relationships where the nervous system can finally exhale. We also talk about: -Childhood trauma, hypervigilance, and emotional survival -Masculinity, protection, and learning to feel safe enough to feel -Nervous system regulation versus emotional suppression -Intuition and hearing what people are not saying -Why discipline alone eventually breaks down -Co-regulation, relational healing, and safe attachment -The body's intelligence and survival-based coping patterns -Self-awareness, identity reconstruction, and embodiment -Why pain can become a portal to truth and transformation -Responding versus reacting in relationships and everyday life -Reconnecting to intuition beneath conditioning and fear This episode is a profound reminder that healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about stripping away the layers of protection, coping, and survival that disconnected us from who we already are. Grant's work invites us to stop performing strength and instead cultivate the kind of nervous system safety that allows truth, intimacy, and real transformation to emerge. You can learn more about Grant and his work through The Forged Method and connect with him on social media on Instagram at @grantdziak for teachings on nervous system regulation, embodiment, and human performance. Tenderoni Hotline #35: What if your relationship with food has far less to do with willpower and far more to do with your nervous system? In this deeply thoughtful and delightfully nerdy conversation, I'm joined by Ali Shapiro, MS, CHHC, holistic nutritionist, creator of the Truce with Food method, host of the The Truce with Food podcast (formerly The Insatiable podcast), and 33-year cancer survivor, to explore the hidden connection between food, safety, belonging, emotional outsourcing, and self-worth.Together we unpack why so many of us get stuck in cycles of restriction, perfectionism, binge eating, and trying to be “good” with food. We talk about the developmental psychology underneath emotional eating, the pressure to earn health through discipline and control, and why nervous system regulation matters so much when it comes to nourishment and healing.Ali shares her compassionate, research-based approach that integrates functional nutrition, developmental psychology, and root-cause behavior change to help people build lasting change without shame or rigid wellness rules. We also explore how diet culture and wellness culture often reinforce the same old patterns of self-abandonment, people-pleasing, and outsourcing authority, while disconnecting us from our own inner wisdom and body trust. This episode is for anyone who feels exhausted by all-or-nothing thinking around food and wants a more grounded, compassionate, and sustainable way forward.Learn more about Ali and her work at trucewithfood.com.Got a question for the Tenderoni Hotline? In this conversation, Dr. Stanton Hom sits down with somatic healer Jules Horn, a former model turned nervous system guide and soon‑to‑be father. Jules shares his journey from a small village in Germany and a decade in the modeling world to discovering his true purpose: helping people down‑regulate their nervous systems, remember who they really are, and live from the "kingdom of heaven within." Together, Stanton and Jules dive into fatherhood, grief, faith, and what it means to hold true presence in a highly stimulated world. They explore practical self‑regulation tools like breathwork and standing meditation, the spiritual lens on pain and disease, money as energetic flow, and why less is often more when it comes to healing, performance, and living a God‑centered life. Highlights: "I don't believe we're here to learn much; we're here to remember what it feels like." "It's not a chase on the outside, it's an uncovering and a remembering." "Less is more in almost every area of life; breath, food, training, even healing." "If God is within you and within me, why would I treat anyone differently?" Nico is so full of life he's nearly bursting off the screen. In this episode we talk about mediation, acting from a place of centeredness, and overall emotional well being with things like processing pain and developing sensitivity to truth in your life. Enjoy! Chatgpt said this is what we talked about: Your mind can explain your pain for hours and still never touch the real release. We go straight into what changes when you stop trying to “think” your way to certainty and start working with the nervous system, the body, and the heart. We talk with Nico Dimatina about Vedic meditation and why mantra-based practice works like training wheels: you use the sound silently, it fades, and you land in real stillness. From there, we unpack why long-form meditation teacher training focuses so much on stored trauma, emotional baggage, and the subconscious patterns that run your reactions. Nico walks us through a full rounding sequence (toning, gentle yoga asana, shavasana, breathwork, then meditation) and explains how practices like alternate nostril breathing can help the body feel safe enough to unwind. We also zoom out into the bigger life questions: alignment versus achievement, why external success can't manufacture deep fulfillment, and what it means to “surrender” without checking out of your responsibilities. Nico shares a vivid story of asking for direction and having “Dubai” drop into consciousness during meditation. From qigong and meridians to psychedelics as plant medicine (with strong emphasis on guidance and integration), we keep bringing it back to what's practical: cultivating a steady inner baseline, then living from it.If this hit home, subscribe, share it with a friend who's stuck in their head, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway. Today, I interview Lizzie Siegel, who came into this world deeply connected to her gifts but spent years learning to suppress them, until a series of accidents, illnesses, and a relationship where she felt completely invisible forced her to stop abandoning herself and come back to her voice.Raised with a heightened sensitivity that others around her often misunderstood, Lizzie spent nearly two decades as an international school teacher before her body began breaking down from years of ignoring her inner voice. Autoimmune diseases, a spinal injury, and a recommended hip replacement were the signals she could no longer dismiss.Through energy healing, sound work, and a journey across more than 70 countries, she found her way back to the voice she had always had, and built a practice around helping others remember theirs.__________________Lizzie Siegel is a Resource and Reality Architect, Subconscious Freedom Coach, and global gridworker who has traveled to over 70 countries activating the Earth's energetic grids, sacred sites, and collective consciousness. She works at the intersection of voice, frequency, and remembrance, using sound, light language, and intuitive transmission to awaken what she calls Divine Source Codes within the human system. With a rare clairaudient gift, Lizzie hears beyond words, reading the energetic field of what is spoken, suppressed, and ready to be liberated. Her presence alone becomes a catalyst for transformation, dissolving deep rooted patterns of fear, trauma, and limitation, and recalibrating individuals at the level of identity, nervous system, and soul. She doesn't just help people find their voice. She helps them remember who they were before they ever learned to silence it.__________________Find Lizzie here:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lizziesiegel/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lilybity Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lizzienamasteplantbased/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heartshomewithlizzie/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartshomewithlizzie Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2y8L6exu2GxJeBQSEUSX5K?si=0a10cdc09bec41c4 Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hearts-home-podcast/id1648081724Support the showI'm Dr. Doreen Downing and I help people find their voice so they can speak without fear. What if the reason you feel stuck, exhausted, or not getting results anymore… isn't because you're doing something wrong—but because your body is stuck in the wrong state? In this episode, I sit down with Albert Vaca to explore a powerful and often overlooked root cause for midlife performance struggles: your nervous system. Albert shares how his work in acupuncture and Chinese medicine focuses on giving the body the right signals to heal—something many high-performing, driven individuals miss as they age. If you're someone who has been doing all the "right" things—training hard, eating clean, staying disciplined—but still feeling tired, inflamed, or stuck… this conversation is for you. We dive into why endurance athletes and high achievers often experience more breakdown than breakthrough over time, and how chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation can quietly impact everything from metabolism and hormones to digestion, sleep, and recovery. You'll learn how your body decides whether it's in a state of survival or safety, and why that determines your ability to burn fat, build muscle, and truly thrive. Albert also breaks down how acupuncture works from a modern physiological perspective—and why it can be such a powerful tool to restore balance. This is a deep dive into healing from the inside out, connecting ancient wisdom with modern science in a way that makes sense for today's high-performing lifestyle. In this episode, we cover: Why high performers often feel worse as they age despite doing everything "right" The connection between the nervous system, metabolism, and recovery Signs you may be stuck in chronic fight-or-flight mode How acupuncture supports stress resilience, healing, and performance Simple, practical ways to regulate your nervous system daily If your goal is to stay strong, energized, and resilient as you age—this episode will help you understand what your body has been trying to tell you.

Dr. Katie Deming and Lauren take you inside the real emotional journey of a prolonged fast, and it's probably not what you'd expect. She knew something was deeply misaligned, but she couldn't see what it was until she finally stopped long enough to look. She'd spent years pushing through the discomfort from a high-pressure career, managing the symptoms, and holding everything together on the outside. In this powerful episode of The Mystic Millionaire, I sit down with global visionary and founder of The School of Becoming, Tracy Litt, for a conversation that will completely shift how you think about identity, personal power, and what it truly means to become her. Tracy introduces us to her revolutionary framework, Neuroidentity Evolution and The Choice Method, and why sustainable transformation only happens when we work at the level of the nervous system. We go deep into what it means to let your future self lead, why your nervous system is keeping you safe but also keeping you stuck, and how embodiment is the missing key that most personal development spaces are skipping entirely. In this conversation, Dr. Michelle Weiner shares her evolution from chief resident in interventional pain medicine to pioneering integrative practitioner who treats chronic pain through a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens. Double board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation, Dr. Weiner reveals why traditional procedure-focused approaches often fail chronic pain patients and how she discovered more effective ways to create lasting healing.Dr. Weiner's journey started with her background in nutritional science and athletics, leading her through physical medicine and rehabilitation before specializing in interventional pain. But day after day of performing procedures without truly connecting with patients left her frustrated and seeking deeper solutions. Her introduction to medical cannabis as chair of Florida's advisory committee opened her mind to personalized medicine and treating the whole person rather than just diagnosis codes. You'll hear about her unique approach to fibromyalgia, which she reframes as "central sensitization" to empower rather than limit patients. Dr. Weiner explains how trauma and adverse childhood experiences prime the nervous system for hyperreactivity, leading to chronic pain that becomes centrally mediated rather than structurally based. Her practice now integrates cannabis protocols, ketamine therapy, and comprehensive team-based care to address the root causes of both physical and emotional pain.Dr. Weiner also shares her personal ketamine experience during training, including a profound vision that later manifested in real life, demonstrating the spiritual dimension she now incorporates into treatment. You'll also hear practical insights about building an integrative practice, the importance of set and setting, and why true healing requires addressing the person with the diagnosis, not just the diagnosis itself. What You'll Learn in This Episode· Career transition insights - How Dr. Weiner evolved from high-volume interventional procedures to relationship-based integrative medicine and why she felt traditional approaches were "stringing patients along"· Central sensitization framework - Why she avoids the term "fibromyalgia" and instead explains central sensitization to empower patients and create hope rather than diagnostic limitations· Biopsychosocial-spiritual model - How incorporating the spiritual dimension creates awe-like effects and connections that traditional medicine misses, supported by neuroscience research· Medical cannabis integration - Her role on Florida's Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee and how cannabis opened conversations about personalized medicine and treating individual endocannabinoid systems· Trauma's role in chronic pain - How adverse childhood experiences and physical trauma prime the nervous system for hyperreactivity and chronic pain development· Practice building strategies - Practical advice about insurance credentialing, marketing to other providers, creating therapeutic environments, and building multidisciplinary teams· Set and setting importance - Why the physical environment, staff training, and patient preparation are crucial for maximizing ketamine therapy outcomes· Patient education approaches - How she explains that healing happens during the neuroplastic window after ketamine, not during the infusion itself, and why "more is not better"· Team-based care model - Working with coaches, therapists, and specialists trained in pain reprocessing therapy and somatic approaches to support comprehensive healingEpisode 57 show notes:00:00:00 - Teaser: Heart-Forward Medicine and True Passion 00:00:19 - Introduction and Dr. Weiner's Background Overview00:02:00 - Educational Journey: From Nutrition Science to Pain Medicine 00:05:13 - Colleague Reactions to Non-Traditional Approach00:08:37 - The Pivotal Moment: From Procedures to Purpose 00:11:04 - Cannabis Integration and Personalized Medicine Discovery 00:13:43 - Biopsychosocial Model and Pain Neuroscience Education 00:17:09 - Trauma Patterns and Chronic Pain Development 00:19:54 - Reframing Fibromyalgia as Central Sensitization 00:23:54 - Adding the Spiritual Dimension: Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Model 00:29:07 - Personal Ketamine Experience and Training Story 00:34:22 - Practice Building: From Employee to Business Owner 00:38:18 - Set and Setting: Creating Therapeutic Environments 00:41:48 - Patient Misconceptions and Education Strategies00:47:08 - Rapid Fire Questions: 00:53:55 - Advice to 18-Year-Old Self00:55:34 - Final Thoughts: Pain Complexity and Nervous System Healing 00:56:32 - Contact Information and Practice Locations 00:57:29 - Ending and Show ResourcesConnect with Dr. Weiner at:Website: www.drmichelleweiner.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelle-weiner-do-mph-276b34b9Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/drmichelleweiner/
Why do small emotional habits create such big life changes over time? In this episode of the Healthy Mind, Healthy Self podcast, Martha explores how tiny emotional shifts can reshape your nervous system, relationships, self trust, and emotional wellbeing. Learn how emotional repatterning happens through small daily choices, nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and micro moments of safety, beauty, and connection. This episode covers emotional habits, identity change, relationship dynamics, gratitude without toxic positivity, stacking small wins, and practical ways to create lasting emotional transformation one small shift at a time.
This week on the podcast, we're diving into a concept you've probably seen everywhere lately: glimmers. Recently identified by trend forecasters as one of the defining wellbeing trends for 2026, glimmers - the opposite of triggers - are tiny moments that spark feelings of safety, joy, calm, or connection. At a time when wellness can often feel overwhelming, expensive, or performative, glimmers offer something beautifully simple: the ability to find nourishment in what's already around us. To explore this idea, we're joined by two women who have quite literally written the book on it — sisters Nadia Narain and Katia Narain Phillips, authors of Glimmers: Tiny Moments to Transform Your Life.Nadia and Katia have spent decades exploring healing, self-care, nervous system regulation, and emotional wellbeing.Together they are also the bestselling authors of Self-Care for the Real World and Rituals for Every Day.In this conversation, we discuss:What glimmers actually are and why they matterHow noticing small positive moments can support nervous system regulationThe science behind glimmers and brain rewiringWhy this practice resonates so deeply right nowThe connection between glimmers, trauma healing, and mental healthSimple ways to begin noticing glimmers in everyday lifePersonal glimmers Nadia and Katia have experienced recentlyAnd the self-care practices they turn to themselvesThis is a warm, grounding and hopeful conversation about finding beauty, safety and connection in the smallest moments and why those moments may be more powerful than we realise.Come see us hosting in the Menopause tent at the Everywoman Festival on June 13th https://www.everywomanfest.com/tickets-londonBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/self-care-club--6942824/support.Get in touch & come follow us on:Instagram Tiktok thttps://www.tiktok.com/@40ish.podcastJoin our private Facebook groupOrder our book hereBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/40ish-navigating-midlife-and-perimenopause--6942825/support?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rssStudio production by @launchpodstudiosMusic by purpleplanet.
In this deeply grounding and insightful episode, I'm joined by Cameron Burris, a licensed therapist, clinical herbalist, and community care advocate who specializes in nervous system support for high achievers, those who often feel the pressure to over-function, over-give, and constantly perform.Together, we explore the connection between burnout, chronic stress, and the nervous system, and how many of us have been conditioned to operate in ways that disconnect us from our bodies. This conversation gently challenges the idea that productivity equals worth and offers a new, more sustainable way of being. We dive into how over-functioning shows up in both the mind and body, the subtle signs of nervous system dysregulation, and what it actually means to feel safe enough to slow down. You'll also hear how holistic practices like herbalism, yoga, sacred movement, and even gardening can support deep regulation and healing.Whether you identify as a high achiever, the “strong one,” or someone learning to unlearn burnout patterns, this episode offers both education and practical tools to help you reconnect with your body and respond to life with more intention and ease.Connect with Cameron:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/therapywithcamJoin Overfunctioners Anonymous: https://www.quietcontemplationllc.com/overfunctioners-anonymous?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bioWork with Cam: https://tr.ee/0z-0y0hqmu✨ Stay Connected with Shots of Serenity ✨Thank you so much for tuning in! What if the version of success you've been chasing is actually the thing keeping you trapped? Today we welcome back executive coach and bestselling author Keren Eldad (Gilded: Breaking Free from the Cage of Ambition, Perfectionism, and the Relentless Pursuit of More) to unpack the hidden emotional architecture beneath ambition, manifestation, perfectionism, and the relentless pursuit of "more." If that sounds familiar, this episode offers a roadmap for anyone ready to stop building gilded cages and start living from authenticity, openness, and genuine self-worth. As we navigate this new chapter of soul-led visibility, this conversation is one you won't want to miss. Your higher self is calling. What does healing from people-pleasing look like in real life, not just at the beginning, but years later? In this episode, I share my personal story of people-pleasing, where these patterns began for me, how God brought healing, and what it looks like now to live on the “maintenance side” of emotional healing. We talk about fear of abandonment, over-functioning in relationships, parenting adult children, nervous system vigilance, and the ongoing process of learning how to stay grounded in safety and trust instead of falling back into old survival patterns. What if the very thing you desire most—love, abundance, purpose, fulfillment—is waiting on the other side of feeling safe to truly be seen? This week, Jessica, Lacy, and Janelle unpack the roots of visibility wounds and how childhood conditioning, family dynamics, societal programming, and nervous system protection can keep us hiding from our authentic selves. They explore the subtle ways we abandon our truth to stay safe from people-pleasing and shape-shifting to fear of vulnerability and rejection, and why reclaiming your gifts is the key to true magnetism. If you've ever felt afraid to fully express yourself, share your gifts, speak your truth, or take up space, this conversation is a loving permission slip to stop hiding and finally let yourself bloom.
