SEASON: 4 EPISODE: 27Episode Overview:Ready to create and live your inspired life? If you have been curious about what more in life you can be, or do, or have, or create, or share, or give, or expand, then this episode is for you. My next guest says that the only thing standing between you and your inspired life is a DECISION. Without knowing all the answers, your dream, your vision, deserves you. To help us understand how we can create an inspired life and become a better version of ourselves, is speaker, writer, and transformational teacher, Inge Maskun.Guest Bio: Inge was born and raised in Indonesia by two strong women after her mom died. She was six years old. These women were her aunt and grandmother. Growing up, she was encouraged to pursue higher education, but she was never asked what she would love to be and do. It was a directive instead of an invitation. It was a statement, by them, instead of a question. And that was how she built a few businesses, and a life -- from her 19-year career in advertising and marketing in Indonesia, as a managing partner alongside her husband building an import business (shortly after moving to Minnesota), and as a network-marketer. She rarely asked herself,WHAT WOULD I LOVE to be, do, create, have, and give? Better yet, if I knew nothing was impossible? Questions generate ideas.Inge has been drawn to self-expansion since 1984. She read books, was involved in book clubs for personal growth, joined many courses, and networked with like-minded people. Her continued curiosity about the question ‘what would I love' gained traction after she closed the import business. She became certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in 2015 and started working with clients through Community Action Duluth and Safe Haven (a center in her town that provides services to women, whose lives have been affected by physical, emotional, sexual, and economic abuse). During this working partnership; guiding and workshopping participants, she witnessed the impact of fear and worry on people's well-being. Inge experimented with a different strategy by introducing the question: WHAT WOULD I LOVE? The feedback she received brought Inge to the next path of understanding – someone's wellbeing reflects what one loves and worries about. That's when Inge decided to and pivoted into Life Coaching, providing transformative guidance for her clients to serve a vision of the life they are inspired to and love to live. Inge's teacher says, “The quality of our life is framed by the quality of questions we are willing to ask.” Most of us learn to ask very weak questions of the Universe →What do I think I can do? What does my bank account say I can do? What does my current job say I can do?Since then, Inge has deepened her understanding and the implementation of living from this generative state and vibration: WHAT WOULD I LOVE? She's certified as a Passion Test Facilitator, a DreamBuilder Coach, and a Life Mastery Consultant.Inge lives in Duluth, Minnesota, with her husband and a sassy cat named Coco.Resource Links:Website: Website: www.ingemaskun.comWorkshop: https://ingemaskun.com/eventsInsight Gold Timestamps:01:59 My mom died when I was 606:36 So it opened my mind and I said, I have a choice07:52 Until I landed on the dream building program, and it changed everything for me10:49 How many of us adults were actually introduced to the idea12:34 Where your attention is, energy flows there14:06 I thought it was a great question, What would I love?15:06 When you ask the question, you get the answers16:58 I use the word...

Figuring It Out With Grace & Kaylee

Manisha created a simple spending ratio to help stay on track. She recommends using the 50-30-20 rule.  Healthy Spending Pyramid 20% of your income (after taxes) should go toward savings. 30% should go toward activities and purchases you want: restaurants, concerts, travel, and shopping. 50% should go toward the things you need: food, housing, transportation, and bills. 50% Needs 30% Wants 20% Savings. Use Manisha Thakor's tips to examine your spending and saving habits to set simple, straightforward financial goals. Pay at least the minimum payment on your bills on time each month. As you begin to establish a business identity as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, having good credit may become more important. The number one factor that influences your credit score is your history of bill payments. Pay your bills on time to maintain a healthy credit score! This will set you up for greater success down the road.   2| Establish an emergency fund of at least $2,000. While three to six months of income for an emergency fund is ideal, it's not a realistic goal for everyone. Start with a goal of $2,000 if that's more manageable. As emergencies come up, whether it's a last-minute visit to a sick relative or a surprise plumbing repair, you will be prepared to deal with the unexpected expense.  3| Take advantage of free money toward your 401(k)! If you work for an organization that offers a matching 401(k) program, contribute at least to the point of the match. It's a guaranteed return on your investment, so be sure to get on board!  4| Pay down credit card debt. If you have credit card debt, use your cash to pay it down. If your debt is less than $5,000, add an extra $50 per month to your minimum monthly payment. If your debt is between $5,000 and $10,000, add an extra $100 per month. If it's over $10,000, add an extra $150 per month. Depending on your interest rate, you'll have that debt paid off in three to five years, so you can breathe a sigh of relief!   5| Spread “extra” money across your savings and put it into three buckets: emergency fund, nearer-term needs, and retirement savings. Consider increasing your emergency fund beyond $2,000 and put one-third of your “extra” money there. Then put another third toward nearer-term needs (school or a down payment for a car) and the rest toward retirement savings (401(k) or an IRA)

Navigating the treatment for osteoporosis can be overwhelming. You may get this diagnosis after your doctor has ordered some blood work. After seeing the results, they recommend calcium, vitamin D, and exercise.    But this is not enough. Focusing mainly on medications, supplements, and general exercise advice without further exploring other factors or options is insufficient.    Today's guest, Irma Jennings, shows us how having the right support makes all the difference. Irma is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and osteoporosis patient navigator.    With over 13 years of specialized experience in bone health, she offers various programs to guide clients through testing, appointments, and developing the right treatment plan. Irma is helping patients feel empowered and in control of their care.   As for tips to get the most from your doctor appointments, Irma stresses coming prepared. And while it's good to ask questions, try not to put doctors on the defensive. Finding the right balance and team is critical to overcoming any confusion.   I hope you find this interview as insightful as I did. As always, take care of yourself, and keep taking steps for strong, healthy bones!   “I recently was in osteoporosis or worked in the capacity as a navigator or advocate.
