Welcome back to another episode of Spiritual Fitness. "FIND YOUR INNER AWESOME" - Another great episode having one of our powerful creators and healers in our Collective Community join us for this episode. Kendra Hadley, a Self-Love and Confidence Coach bring forth her energy, insights, and healing ways on how we can move through, overcome and re-write our old subconscious behaviors of pain, anger and hurt. She sheds light on how we so often come from a place where we are not seeing what comes up for us in the moment and not noticing how the past is currently impacting our present. Make room in your life for heart felt connection to your self most importantly but with others by finding HEALTHIER ways to get through the emotion of ANGER that tend to plague a lot of us without even recognizing it. Welcome back to another episode of Spiritual Fitness. In this episode we are going to dive a bit further into the lack of communicating our needs as it relates to the fear of rejection. Definitely the BIGGEST thing many of us would do anything to avoid... REJECTION. Learning to work WITH and through rejection is CRITICAL to self-growth and development. This episode goes into discovery of why we reject others and how to NOT take rejection as such a horrific event. The whole idea of holding the mirror up in front of ourselves, instead of saying the world is rejecting us, to see what we maybe rejecting in ourselves. Can you FLIP THE COIN and realize at times when you reject others, it is because you are setting a boundary for yourself. In most cases, in some way shape or form, looking out for yourself can come off as rejection to the other person. Ask yourself, each time you have rejected a person were you doing it because there was a behavior happening that you could not allow? TOPIS DISCUSSED IN THIS EPISODE:
Welcome back to another episode of Spiritual Fitness. We are glad to have you tuning in and listening. In this episode we are going to continue the conversation on trauma and our perspective on how this affects one's ability to COMMUNICATE NEEDS. Communication is crucial to get what we WANT or NEED. The real dilemma is that people become fearful to truly, honestly and openly express/share their needs to others. If you had any trauma in your childhood, it is most likely you have quit using your voice in some manner or another. Either our parents shut us down, manipulated us or guilted us when we looked out for ourselves. We received the message that looking out for ourselves could be dangerous territory. This behavior can cause so much detriment and regret in relationships. Creating stories about worth, safety and feeling not good enough. Without using our voice to communicate, we all ASSUME that people who “know us”, especially our romantic partners, should just KNOW what we want. This is foul play on our part and only setting us up for pains within our relationships to others. Pause for a moment, take that line of thinking into account, do you ever really voice your needs? WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME you were vocal and upfront about your needs to someone? Regardless, if it is from friends, your partner, your family, your kids, or even at work, have you been able to have the courage to share when you are in need? The more openly you can communicate your needs from a place of love, you will free yourself from inner turmoil, hardship, and/or resentment. When we habitually do not express our needs, we can easily forget what they are. Take time and rediscover your own needs. Evaluate how often you take steps in life to care for them. Take action, reach out, and let's take the first steps to discovering the greatest version of yourself!!!! We are always here to listen, take in feedback and invite your support in the TRYBE. Welcome back to another episode here with Spiritual Fitness! We appreciate you tuning back in, checking in with us, joining our TRYBE, and continually doing the self work it takes to inspire the rest of the world, we are truly grateful for you Open your mind and your perspective the world around you, the more PRESENT you can live the more resilient you can become. Continuing our talk about POST TRAUMATIC GROWTH hinting at more ways to be consciously aware that life is happening FOR YOU not to you! We are not a concept of our past, we are ONLY right now, but sadly enough we formulate all our stories and concepts of our present and future world from our past experiences/events. We encourage you to dig deeper into yourself in all areas of your life especially when life seems to be coming at you, to pose yourself this question, "WHAT IS MY WHY?" When we have a drive, a desire, and a purpose to life or move forward we can overcome and life through anything. Torture is something we self create within our mind and heart, because how we habitually view the world, will lend us the results of the world showing up that way repeatedly. When we choose to RISE UP out of our own circumstances we can see the things we experience from a new perspective. Topics we discuss in this Episode: The Idea of Reaching Elevated states of conscious awareness to overcome our past What is your why? Your why to live, to exist, to have purpose… Living with purpose and meaning can sustain more self perceived trauma Don't compare your suffering to anyone else and their circumstances How "Plant Medicine" can lend us an elevated perspective to see through our own absurdities A writing activity to help shift through and releasing emotional ties to a traumatic events We are always here to listen, take in feedback and invite your support in the TRYBE. Welcome back to another episode here with Spiritual Fitness! We appreciate you tuning back in, checking in with us, joining our TRYBE, and continually doing the self work it takes to inspire the rest of the world, we are truly grateful for you So, the past few episodes we have been about bringing self-awareness to our own suffering, from our own choice, from our past, from our outer world, etc., but in this episode… Now we will move through suffering and start to embody the GROWTH and RESILIENCE we acquire when we go through hardships in our life. The title and topics of this episode are about an inner perspective called POST TRAUMATIC GROWTH!. Most people have never even heard of this concept because it is always foreshadowed and hidden from the concept of PTST (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Why are we not educated about GROWTH instead of downfall? Why are we not made aware of how strong and resilient we are rather than always be told about how broken and weak we are? We are going to discuss this topic focusing on THE POSITIVE in which we all go through when we face hardships, trauma, suffering, and many other tough areas of our life. Join us as we share some amazing examples, studies, and ways for you to look at your own ability to shift your perspectives and RAISE YOUR SPIRITUAL FITNESS in the face of tough times. Topics we discuss in this Episode: The process of forging strength through a break down within Studies from Prisoners of War that were held captive The mindset in seeing the light or the “Silver Lining” Shifting perspective in the confrontation of hardship Can trauma actually be a gift for personal evolution and growth? Choose to see the idea of PTG rather than focus on PTSD We are always here to listen, take in feedback and invite your support in the TRYBE. AHO TRYBE!!! Well-Come Back as we continue to unpack, uncover and unleash the idea of our own inner pains, traumas and suffering. Another episode with Spiritual Fitness where we dig deeper into our subconscious to elevate our inner-standing of how we operate in our adult life that may have been strongly shaped by events in our past or from our childhood. This episode we have an amazing spiritual friend of ours Mr. Robin Green, which is a certified Reiki healer and has recently picked up and left his entire old life behind in the United Kingdom to live in the beautiful Costa Rica where we are. As we discuss this topic of 'LEVELING UP through our Suffering' we are going to look at how our past circumstances or events could have programmed us to think, act and believe the way we do in our current adult state. Now as adults we have fallen custom to our subconscious habits and rituals not knowing that we are acting and reacting off of our past. Opening the doors to our darkest closest allows us to let the light of healing, forgiveness and love shine in so that we may choose a new path forward that's more suitable for our desires. Suffering doesn't have to be an addiction we just get use to, we can and more than deserving to break free from our past to open the cage to spread our wings to fly amongst greatness. Some Main Topics we discuss in this episode: Initial stages of healing and/or suffering How our personal narrative creates negative perspectives or darkness Noting that festering thoughts turn into mental/emotional poison The programming of our early childhood mind The perception of our circumstances shapes our internal world Finding ways to heal that fit us Keep in mind that a festering thought, a past retreat, a rehashing mindset will only stir the pot of internal poison that keeps us locked in a ruminating, self-loathing, lacking frame of living... YOU DON'T DESERVE SUCH A LIFE!!! We are always here to listen, take in feedback and invite your support in the TRYBE. Please continue to join us and provide your insight on how we can all become greater being within the collective. We love to work together to motivate and inspire each other in this journey we call LIFE! AHO TRYBE!!! Well-Come Back for another mind expanding and emotional opening episode with Spiritual Fitness. This episode we are continuing the topic of our own internal suffering, but seeing this undesirable place of existence as place of learning, transformation, a teacher, and as a lesson ground to become a greater version of ourselves. From our deep down locked away stored childhood trauma we know this is the door most people are extremely hesitant to open and let the light shine in on. But this door, this powerful door is the door we should be running towards the fastest and not away from. There is so much to learn, heal, and grow from behind this air tight sealed subconscious door, so in this episode we are encouraging you to take the keys, walk down the hall, turn on the light and unlock this door as we discuss some ways to invite understanding, healing and forgiveness for whatever rests behind this space of hidden trauma and suffering. Some Main Topics we discuss in this episode: - Ignoring Our Inner Child (hidden subconscious suffering) - Making Choices/Decisions From Our Inner Intuition Feelings - How Our Outer Choices Trigger Inner Emotions and How to Tune Into Them - Healing the Wounds of our Suffering - Looking at the Silver Lining of our Suffering There is and will never be a price tag you could ever put on speaking your truth and healing your past childhood suffering, because as much as we find it much easier to just run from doing this inner work, NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE!!! We are always here to listen, take in feedback and invite your support in the TRYBE. Please continue to join us and provide your insight on how we can all become greater being within the collective. Hello TRYBE and Well-Come back, maybe more like we should be Well-Coming ourselves back after a brief hiatus through June. We have for the for seeable future relocated ourselves to the wonderous, luscious, gorgeous lands of Costa Rica. We felt the calling to come here to start doing more of this deeper inner spiritual work, strengthening our spiritual muscle. In doing so we have initiated plant medicine retreats here and we have been learning so much in our own healing work and are super excited to share! Our recent ceremonies have sparked this next episode topic in which we discuss SUFFERING. Personal, chosen, self-derived SUFFERING. Probably thinking “what in the world, why would we or would I ever choose to cause suffering on myself?” This became an important topic and we wanted to dive into that and in this episode we will discuss how each of us fall into 3 main categories of personal suffering: The suffering of SUFFERING. This is the one we're all familiar with: the pain of birth, old age, sickness, and death, the common physical feeling of suffering. The suffering of CHANGE. When in life we do get what you want, and that feeling of we can't hold onto it. Even if things are going great now, it's just a matter of time until it will leave us. All PERVASIVE suffering. It's the general background of anxiety and insecurity that colors even our happiest moments. Deep down, we fear that life doesn't offer us solid ground and that our very existence is questionable. We have self-limiting behaviors (discussed in previous episode) that can encourage our own suffering such as: sabotage, procrastination and unnecessary worry. Many times we feel our suffering is necessary for growth and changing that mindset can be key to stepping into a new comfort zone. In this episode we give you some tools of how to look at your suffering and use it to your advantage. We reference a hack from Spirit Hacking by Shaman Durek. Ask yourself: Where is the gift in this suffering? What are you going to do with it to empower yourself? How can you use this in highest service to yourself and humanity? Change mindset from a WHY mentality which slows down our evolution into WHAT can I do now that this has happened to me? How can I use this to empower me? How can I use this to help people avoid the same pain that I endured? Welcome for another episode of Spiritual Fitness, with our guest Ms. Laura Santolla. Exploring a little bit of the topic around a minimalist lifestyle and the freedom that comes from letting go of your ‘things'. From San Francisco, to Las Vegas, to Miami, Laura has lived quite a life thus far that met all of societies expectations, but has broken the chains, dumped all her material items, hits the road up and down California in her van, and sails the open seas of spiritual freedom from the matrix. Welcome back to the follow up discussion on Happiness VS. Joy where we delve deeper into our human nature of the comparison game we all go through. The ways we compare and how this behavior can ruin, inhibit, and block our ability to find joy. Take a look inside this episode for some activities to help alleviate stagnation and find true joy in our daily lives. Start empowering your greatness by doing things to: Push outside your "comfort zone" A great tools we use form a book called "Raise Your Inner Game" (DAVID LEVIN) talks about incorporating some everyday natural "LIFTS" such as going outside, spending time with others, changing hands to brush your teeth, and giving of ourselves. Seems simple but yet we tend to steer clear of the simple thinking it is going to be the hard things that elevate us. Remember we need to be kind to ourselves, find the things that bring us to a higher vibrational feeling and enjoy the process Rachel Cruze writes: 8 Practical Ways to Stop comparing ourselves to others 1. Practice Gratitude 2. Unlock the power of contentment 3. Don't compare your life to everyone 4. Focus on your strengths 5. Celebrate other people 6. Learn to compete with yourself instead of others 7. Have boundaries on how much time you spend on social media 8. Take a social media fast Find more about Spiritual Fitness on our social channels: https://linktr.ee/Spiritualfitness.itc Instagram @SpiritualFitness.itc Facebook @InspireTheCollective Youtube @InspireTheCollective
Welcome to Spiritual Fitness, episode 2: Happiness VS. Joy. What do those words actually mean, how we ‘get' them and where to be looking! TRUE HAPPINESS: Seeking outside of ourselves from society's input Caught up in the past/ future / rehashing rehearsing Fleeting emotions that are temporary The outside feeling of happiness isn't so readily available any more these days. Our external landscape is continually changing. JOY: How does one achieve it? Hardships in finding it, being seen as selfish Finding JOY is better for those around you, so don't give up on it, in just trust that this will change over time in your life. Start becoming more present in the moment within ourselves and others will help us pull in our own true joy.
