A Craigslist Sammy Davis Jr., a slimy, dying man-boy and an old mommy are all here for the... Rat Pack Rat Eddie Rouse gets hired by a mom to do his Sammy Davis Jr. act for her dying son. He turns out to be Steve Little and things get weird, but Rouse does do some singing to this poor, sweet, disgusting son. I love the late Eddie Rouse. I love the still alive Todd Rohal. So, for a birthday gift to myself, we watched this short film. It's filthy, grotesque, full of heart, shocks and hilarity. Basically, it seems to be, in fact, a Todd Rohal film. One of my favorite guests joy in human form joined me to celebrate his best yet: That's What Friends Are For. I was beyond thrilled to welcome back Wade Rouse to the show.We celebrated this absolute gem of a novel, one that carries so many personal connections for Wade. Yes, it's a love letter to The Golden Girls, but it's also so much more. It's part of his story a Palm Springs tale only Wade could tell filled with heart, humor, and the kind of characters you wish you could sit down with over cheesecake.Wade and I chatted about our shared love of the ladies, the moment he knew it was time to write this novel, and the nostalgia of growing up. We also talked about the journey he's been on throughout his life and career. One thing I know whenever I reunite with Wade is that I will laugh and laugh we did. He is the medicine this world needs and a beautiful reminder that humanity is rooted in love, kindness, and connection.

Ashley Rouse shares how surrender, letting go, and reinvention led to clarity and new beginnings after closing her company, Trade Street Jam Co. _____ After building a nationally recognized brand, Ashley Rouse returns to Dreams In Drive - eight years later - to share the raw truth about closing Trade Street Jam Co., embracing surrender, and stepping into new beginnings with her new creative agency Rouse Like House. A heartfelt, inspiring conversation for anyone navigating change, letting go, or finding clarity and purpose in life's next chapter. ______ In this deeply honest and full-circle conversation, Ashley Rouse (Episode 174 guest) returns eight years later to Dreams In Drive to reflect on the evolution from the woman who was scaling Trade Street Jam Co. at lightning speed to the woman she is today — one who chose surrender, healing, and alignment over external definitions of success. Ashley opens up about the circumstances surrounding and the grief of closing Trade Street Jam Co., the loss of identity that comes when your life's work ends, and the emotional and spiritual clarity that followed. She shares how motherhood and deep personal growth forced her to redefine what success, ambition, and purpose look like in this new season. Most importantly, she reframes surrender as a power move, a conscious decision to trust that releasing what no longer aligns creates space for new vision, new pathways, and a more authentic future. What We Discussed: Surrender & Purpose: Finding the courage to realize that a business is just a "tangible asset" and that her true purpose—helping other entrepreneurs—remains intact. The Realities of Running A Product-Based Business: Ashley breaks down why running a product-based CPG business is "no joke," discussing the capital intensive, inventory-heavy nature of the industry and the pressure of scaling, and seeking investors as a Black Woman The Power of Community: How sharing her "messy" journey on Instagram built a community that ultimately saved her during her transition. This conversation is for anyone who: Feels the pull toward a new beginning Is questioning a long-held dream Is learning to detach their worth from their work Is navigating a transition season You'll walk away with both the emotional language and the practical mindset shifts needed to: Recognize when it's time to move on Honor the chapter you're closing without shame Trust the unknown Rebuild from a place of clarity and self-alignment. God Has Not Forgotten Your Affliction! Psalm 44:22-26 “Rouse yourself! Why do you sleep, O Lord? Awake, do not cast us off forever! Why do you hide your face? Why do you forget our affliction and oppression? For we sink down to the dust; our bodies cling to the ground. Rise up, come to our help. Redeem us for the sake of your steadfast love.” The original verse I started with this morning was verse 24. “Why do you forget our affliction and oppression. Yet, when I looked up the verse, all these verses were together, and it reminded me of so many people. There are so many of you who listen to this podcast who have reached out and said this same thing. Maybe not in these exact words, but these are the thoughts going through your head. You are wondering where the Lord is in all of this. You are wondering why He is not answering your questions when you know He can. You are wondering why? Why the broken dreams? Why has He not healed you? Why has he not brought the provisions? Why does it seem He has not kept His promise to provide for you and to protect you? Why are your loved ones still hurting? Why has your protigal son or daughter not come home? Why again, why now? Why? What is your why that you are wrestling with right now? What the Lord put on my heart is that He wants us to know that if we are asking why we are not alone. Many times, we can think we aren't supposed to ask why. We might hear things at church or from other people who say that if you are struggling, you just don't have enough faith. You might hear that you can't be mad at God, you just need to work through it on your own. If you are mad at God, you are bad or doing something wrong. You just don't trust enough. You might hear a bunch of different things. Most of them are not true. God wants you to know that it is ok to ask why. It is okay not to understand His plan. It is ok to cry out to Him in anger and frustration. I feel He gave me this scripture today to show you that you are not alone. The psalmists cried out to the Lord. They asked Him questions. They expressed their frustration with His timing and with feeling abandoned. Many of the Psalms were written by David. He was blessed beyond measure by God. He knew God, and He knew how much God loved Him. He was never afraid to take His sins back to God and ask for forgiveness. He had a very intimate relationship with God. David also did not have an easy life. He went from being loved by the king to being hunted by the king, from being king to being pursued by his son, who wanted him dead. If we don't know David's whole story, we may think he killed Goliath with a stone and then became a mighty king. There is so much more to David's story. He had some great years, some awful years, and everything in between. I tell you all of this to show you that you can be beloved and blessed by God and yet still have lots of trouble in your life. Having trouble and suffering do not mean that God doesn't love you or that He has turned His back on you. Many of you have been praying some pretty big prayers for a long time, and you feel angry that God is not listening. He wants you to know that He hears every one of your prayers. He is acting even if you can't see how. Sometimes he is arranging things that you won't see enter your life for years. Sometimes, He is changing people's hearts, and that takes time. Sometimes our children have to learn their own lessons, and that takes time. Yes, God could heal you in a minute. Yes, God could change your heart in a minute. God can do all things. Yet that is not always how he chooses to do things, and it is our job to cooperate with God's plan. I promise you, God knows what He is doing. He is not placing amazing dreams and desires in your heart to tease you. He is not cruel. He is not showing you amazing things just to take them away from you. Only good comes from God. If He is placing amazing dreams in your heart, it is because He wants you to believe it can happen. He wants you to reach for it. He wants you to see what your future could be. He wants you to know you won't always have these same limitations. I know it hurts to believe sometimes because we are tired of being disappointed. But hope in the Lord does not disappoint. (Romans 5:5) What if you could take away your timeline and just fully believe that all your prayers will be answered? How would your life be different if, instead of focusing on the when, you just celebrated that it would definitely happen someday? What if you pictured what you would do the day your prayers were answered? What if every time you started to ask why, you changed it and started thanking the Lord for answering your prayers in the most beautiful way? I think the Lord is talking to me personally for that last part. I am constantly asking Him why he hasn't restored Bruce's eyesight yet. Why are my friends Suzanne, Rosa & Danielle still struggling? Why so many I know have not been healed yet. However, when I asked those questions above, my heart felt so full. I am not going to ask the Lord when anymore. I am going to put my full trust in the fact that those healings are coming, and I am going to plan what I will do when they do come. How will I celebrate with the individual people? How will I give the glory to God? How can I lift up and support those I know who are suffering while they are waiting for their miracle? How can I give them strength? How can I accompany them so they are not alone? I am going to change my questions! If you can change your questions, I think it will make the wait more bearable. If you can go all in on believing your miracle is on the way, then it might make the wait a bit easier. However, even if you can't shift your mindset. Even if you are still angry with God, that is okay. Just make sure to talk with Him about it. Don't shut Him out. Don't be afraid to be honest with Him. He already knows your feelings, probably before you even do. If you still need to ask why, that's ok. You are in good company, as many of those in the Bible asked why. Many questioned, doubted, and struggled with God's plan, yet God did not withdraw His favor from them. He did not take away His good plan or their good future. He will not take away yours either. Your miracle will still come, even if you question, even if you get frustrated and angry. Just don't shut God out. He is there with you in all of this. He hears your prayers, and He is working all things for your good! Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless all those listening to this episode today. Lord, you are amazing. Send a textWhen the Loeb Classical Library was launched, the greatest language teacher of the age, W.H.D. Rouse, wrote an essay meant to promote the Loebs by extolling the magnificence of Greek literature and Latin literature. And boy did he. "Your mind cannot live without them. All the great intellectual impulses begin in Greece; the modern world only grows crops from the Greek seed." While Rouse admitted that his space was short, and so he had to "be dogmatic," this essay, "Machines or Mind?" is a worthy read, not least because of its response to the utilitarians who'd prefer we abandon the humanities and instead bend all of our time, effort, and resources to making more machines. One of Rouse's 21st century heirs, Senior Fellow of Classical Languages at New Saint Andrews College and founder of Picta Dicta, Timothy Griffith, joins the podcast to discuss the essay, Rouse's place in the tradition of humanist education, and whether the Aeneid can properly be called an epic.W.H.D. PSALM 44 For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A maskil. 1 We have heard with our ears, O God; our fathers have told us what you did in their days, in days long ago. 2 With your hand you drove out the nations and planted our fathers; you crushed the peoples and made our fathers flourish. 3 It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them. 4 You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob. 5 Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes. 6 I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; 7 but you give us victory over our enemies, you put put our adversaries to shame. 8 In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever. 9 But now you have rejected and humbled us; you no longer go out with your armies. 10 You made us retreat before the enemy, and our adversaries have plundered us. 11 You gave us up to be devoured like sheep and have scattered us among the nations. 12 You sold your people for a pittance, gaining nothing from their sale. 13 You have made us a reproach to our neighbors, the scorn and derision of those around us. 14 You made us a byword among the nations ; the peoples shake their heads at us. 15 My disgrace is before me all day long, and my face is covered with shame 16 at the taunts of those who reproach and revile me, because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge. 17 All this happened to us, though we had not forgotten you or been false to your covenant, 18 Our hearts had not turned back; our feet had not strayed from your path. 19 But you crushed us and made us a haunt for jackals and covered us over with deep darkness. 20 If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread out our hands to a foreign god, 21 would not God have discovered it, since he knows the secrets of the heart? 22 Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. 23 Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever. 24 Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression? 25 We are brought down to the dust; our bodies cling to the ground. 26 Rise up and help us; redeem us because of your unfailing love. NIV 84 LESSON NOTES Praise Is a Process Psalm 44:1–8 reminds us that praise is the fruit of a process. We remember God in the past, trust Him in the present, and praise Him in the future. Skipping remembering and trusting leads to just singing rather than genuine praise. Inherited Belief Must Become Personal Allegiance “Their faith” must become “my faith.” The psalmist moves from “our fathers told us” (v.1) to “You are my King and my God” (v.4). Spiritual maturity happens when we add our signature to the story — when God becomes personally trusted in the present. When Theology Doesn't Seem to Work The turning point — “But now” (v.9) — captures the tension of undeserved suffering. The people are experiencing the curses of disobedience while claiming covenant faithfulness. Psalm 44 gives language to that painful question: What do we do when our experience contradicts our expectations and explanations? God Invites Honest Protest Verses 9–21 model bold, uncensored prayer. He protests. He wrestles. He brings confusion to God rather than away from Him. Faith is not pretending everything is fine — it is bringing everything honestly before the Lord. Hesed Has the Final Word The psalm ends with one emphatic word: hesed — unfailing, covenant love. Paul quotes Psalm 44:22 in Romans 8 to show that even unexplained suffering cannot separate us from Christ's love. When answers fail, God's steadfast love remains. His hesed is the trump card. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1. What are specific ways you intentionally “remember” what God has done? How does remembering strengthen your faith during difficult seasons? 2. When did your faith move from “theirs” (family, church, tradition) to “mine”? What helps you continue making that transition daily? 3. Have you experienced a “But now” season — where your experience seemed to contradict your expectations and explanations? How did you respond? 4. Why do you think many Christians struggle to bring protests to God? What would it look like this week to pray with more honesty? 5. When answers are unclear, what does it practically mean to “cling to His unfailing love”? How does Romans 8:35–39 strengthen your confidence during hardship?

We have covered the subject of whether to include the decidual (innermost) layer when closing the uterine incision during cesarean section (CS) on at least 2 episodes. The most recent was in September 2025, when we focused on a published (September 2025) systematic review and meta-analysis from the Green Journal. Back then, we compared those new findings to our prior episode from 2023 on the same matter. Well, we are back at it again with the same subject as there is a new EXPERT REVIEW from the AJOG on hysterotomy closure technique which just came out January 2026. What did these authors conclude? There are also some controversial suggestions made by the authors. Listen in for details. 1. Antoine C, Meyer JA, Silverstein J, Buldo-Licciardi J, Lyu C, Timor-Tritsch IE. Here's a question that'll change how you think about this profession forever: What's the one moment that reveals you're built for sales success? For most people, that moment never comes. They stumble into sales, struggle with the stereotypes, and either quit or spend their entire career fighting against what they think selling is supposed to be. But for those of us who get it, there's a moment of clarity so powerful it changes everything. Mine happened in high school when I was chasing a girl and ended up on the yearbook staff. Thirty days later, I handed over $3,800 in checks while everyone else struggled to hit their $300 quota. The Sales Crack Moment When Mr. Hall at Hall's Hardware Store wrote me that first check for a yearbook ad after I had done little more than ask outright for the money, something clicked. This wasn't complicated. Walk in, shake hands, present value, and people give you money. While my classmates were paralyzed by the same stereotypes you hear today ("I'm not a salesperson"), I was out there having conversations. That's all prospecting really is. Talking to people. The gasp in that room when I revealed my numbers? That was better than the money. That was the competitive fire igniting. That was me realizing I could outwork, outsell, and out-earn anyone if I just committed to the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7dOBVvYHCs The Discipline Problem Most Sellers Miss Here's what nobody tells you about sales success: It's not about talent. It's not about charisma. It's about the ruthless execution of proven processes. By the time I was 21 or 22, I was making $300,000 in the early nineties. That's equivalent to making close to a million today. Not because I was special, but because I understood something fundamental that most people never figure out: The more people you talk with, the more you sell. And here's the beautiful part. There are lots of people to go talk with. The pipeline never runs dry if you're willing to fill it. The Three Non-Negotiables for Modern Sellers The future of selling is blending. Not choosing between video and phone and in-person. Blending all of them based on one critical question: What communication channel gives me the highest probability of capturing my desired outcome at the lowest cost of time, energy, and money? When I started selling, we had two channels. Maybe three if you count snail mail. Phone and in-person. That's it. Today? You've got a dozen ways to connect. WhatsApp lets you text, call, and video chat almost instantly. The options are endless. But here's where Gen Z sellers (and honestly, every generation) screw this up: They get single-siloed. "I'm only good at email.""I only do video calls.""I hate the phone." That mindset is killing your income potential. You need to be good at everything. Master every channel. Because the channel doesn't matter. The outcome does. Synchronous Beats Asynchronous Every Single Time Here's the second non-negotiable to sales success: Stop hiding behind asynchronous communication. We do deals in a synchronous world. Real-time conversations. Phone calls. Video meetings. Face-to-face interactions. If you think you can close business through email threads and text messages, you're delusional. Why? Because robots can write better emails than you can. AI can craft more persuasive text messages. But sales is the ultimate human career in the age of AI precisely because of the human connection required in synchronous conversations. Lead with phone calls. Get face-to-face when the deal size justifies it. Use video when it makes sense. But always, always prioritize real-time conversations over digital hide-and-seek. Ask Questions and Actually Listen The third non-negotiable is mastering the art of asking great questions and listening to the answers. People make five decisions before they buy from you: Do I like you? Do you listen to me? Do you make me feel important? Do you get me and my problems? Do I trust and believe you? Notice what's not on that list? Your product features. Your company's awards. Your clever sales pitch. They're evaluating you. Your ability to connect. Your capacity to understand. Your commitment to making them feel important. And the only way to get five affirmative answers to those questions is through synchronous conversations where you ask intelligent questions and actually listen to what they're telling you. The Make It Rain Principle When Mr. Rouse made me editor of the yearbook after I brought in $3,800, I learned something that shaped my entire career: When you can make it rain, you can get anything you want. That principle holds true whether you're selling yearbook ads in high school or enterprise software to Fortune 500 companies. Revenue solves problems. Performance opens doors. Results create opportunities. Most people in sales stumble into it. They took the job because it was available. They stick with it because the money's decent. But they never commit to mastering the craft. The question isn't whether sales chooses you. The question is whether you choose sales. Whether you commit to being good at every communication channel. Whether you prioritize synchronous conversations over digital convenience. Whether you master the art of asking questions and listening. Those fundamentals never change. The technology evolves. The channels multiply. But the core truth remains: Talk to more people, in real time, with genuine curiosity about their problems, and you'll make more money than you ever thought possible. That's how you achieve sales success. That's how you go from yearbook ads to seven figures. That's how you make it rain. This week, our co-hosts come together for the first time in 2026 to catch up in true CTR fashion. Rumour mill gossip, what the lads have been up to & their plans for this year and previewing BSB, WSBK, MotoGP and Road Racing to truly try & fill the motorcycle racing void that is currently taking over off season life - there is a lot to digest! We also wanted to use this episode, with the boys back together, to share the news that Dom won't be returning to the pod in 2026. As a team, we only received confirmation after our last recording, following some time waiting to hear back from him, and felt it was important to keep you all in the loop. It was clearly a difficult decision for Dom, but we respect his reasons and wish him nothing but the best for the season ahead. It's been an incredible journey with CTR so far, and the rest of the lads, along with the Rouse family, remain focused on carrying forward Chrissy's legacy in the only way we know how. The only constant in life is change and we hope this leads the pod in a fresh direction with these lads flying the flag whilst staying true to CTR's core. In this episode of HR.Salon, Andrew sits down with author and marketing agency cofounder Matt Rouse, the mind behind Will AI Take My Job and its sequel. New Orleans has been around for over 300 years. From almost the very beginning, bar rooms have been an integral part of our social life. There are French works of art depicting bar scenes as early as the mid 1800’s. Starting in the 1970’s, photographers like Mike Smith and Lee Crum started celebrating the exteriors of barrooms, along with other street scenes, finding an almost romantic beauty in depicting decadence and decay in black & white. The next iteration of uniquely New Orleans artistic reverence for our bar rooms comes from a company called We Might Be On Fire, a creation of textile manufacturer Shaun Watson. Among Shaun’s collection of rugs, knitwear and pillows with bold prints that include alligators, birds, and flowers, there’s a collection of blankets that feature the exteriors of bar rooms. These aren’t artistic impressions or airbrushed glow-ups, they’re true-to-life, blanket-sized depictions of the outsides of bars, like Snake ‘n Jakes, F&M’s, Pal’s Lounge, The Saturn Bar, Buffa’s, Big Daddy’s, and many more. Talking of barrooms, whomever keeps records of these things maintains we’re drinking less alcohol these days. Maybe they don't include New Orleans in the collection of this data: Wwe’re without a doubt one of the most alcohol-centric cities in the US, if not the world. You might think that in 300 years of drinking we’ve created every variety of alcohol known to man. Well, Paul Kelly has added one more chapter to the story of local booze brands by creating vodka using Louisiana sweet potatoes and cane sugar. Paul distills his distinct sweet potato vodka at his distillery in Bogalusa. With the label Paul Kelly Vodka, it’s available at over 60 stores across the state, including Total Wine, Rouse’s, and a wide range of bars and restaurants. Every evening, as the sun goes down in New Orleans, we’re faced with a decision. Do we stay home tonight? Or do we go out? If you decide to go out, there are a lot of places you can try Paul Kelly Sweet Potato Vodka. If you stay in, you can make a Paul Kelly Sweet Potato Vodka drink at home and curl up with a good book under your We Might Be On Fire blanket that features your favorite local bar. Is that the most New Orleans sign-off sentence in the history of radio? It might be. Out to Lunch was recorded live over lunch at Columns in Uptown New Orleans. This throwback Dental Hacks episode features one of Alan and Jason's classic airway discussions with Dr. Jeff Rouse. This was recorded at the 2018 DS World held in Orlando. Dr. Rouse elaborated on the Seattle Protocol and the essential approach to airway management in dentistry. Jeff broke down the differences between airway issues and sleep apnea, emphasizing the importance of nasal breathing and the role of night guards. He also addresses screening techniques using high-resolution pulse oximetry and cardiopulmonary coupling and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration involving ENT specialists and orthodontists. St. Isaac writes with the clarity of one who has walked through the fire of trial and found the peace that follows surrender. His words do not flatter the soul or soften the edges of the truth. They are meant to awaken us to the living reality of divine love. He shows that what we call faith must be tested, and what we call trust must be purified, until both rest entirely in God. He begins with the martyrs who endured every torment that flesh can bear. They suffered, he says, through a “secret strength” that came from God. Their pain did not prove divine absence but revealed divine nearness. The angels themselves appeared to them, not as symbols but as real presences sent to encourage and to shame the cruelty of their persecutors. The endurance of the martyrs becomes the measure of faith. Where human nature reaches its limit, divine power begins to act. Their calm in suffering, their peace under torture, proclaim that the providence of God surrounds those who love Him even when the world rages. St. Isaac then turns to the ascetics and hermits who made the desert a dwelling place of angels. These men and women renounced the world not in bitterness but in longing. They exchanged earthly things for heavenly communion. The angels, seeing in them kindred souls, visited them continually. They taught them, guided them, strengthened them when hunger or sickness overcame their bodies. They brought them bread, healed their wounds, foretold their deaths. The desert became a city where heaven and earth met in silence. For those who abandoned the noise of the world, the unseen world became near and familiar. This leads St. Isaac to the heart of his teaching. If we truly believe that God provides for us, why do we remain anxious? Anxiety is born of unbelief. To trust in ourselves is to live in misery, but to cast our care upon the Lord is to enter into peace. The one who has surrendered everything to God walks through life with a restful mind. He is not careless but free. His rest is not laziness but confidence born of faith. Isaac describes the path to this inner freedom. The soul must learn non-possessiveness, for without it the mind is filled with turmoil. She must learn stillness of the senses, for without stillness there is no peace of heart. She must endure temptations, for without them there is no wisdom. She must read and meditate, for without this she gains no refinement of thought. She must experience the protection of God in struggle, for without that experience she cannot hope in Him with boldness. Only when she has tasted the sufferings of Christ consciously can she have communion with Him. Finally, Isaac defines the true servant of God as one who has become poor for His sake and compassionate toward all. Such a person mortifies even natural desires so that nothing distracts from love. To give to the poor is to entrust one's life to God's care. To become poor for His sake is to discover inexhaustible treasure. Here St. Isaac's realism becomes luminous. He is not describing a harsh ideal but the hidden logic of divine love. God draws near to those who entrust themselves wholly to Him. Angels surround those who choose the path of surrender. The heart that abandons anxiety finds itself upheld by grace. This is the holy folly of trust. It is the wisdom of those who live as though God alone is enough and who discover in that surrender a peace that cannot be taken away. --- Text of chat during the group: 00:04:28 Fr. It's always consoling. 00:36:52 David Swiderski, WI: St. Jose Escriva used to greet the guardian angels of others first then the person. Once I heard this I find myself thinking of it sometimes with difficult people. The other thing he said is don't say this person bothers me but he sanctifies me. I have found a lot of sanctification in companies over the years. I used to joke about it but now I believe it to be true. 00:37:35 Jessica McHale: Reacted to "St. Jose Escriva u..." with ❤️ 00:39:41 Bob Čihák, AZ: P. 159, # 16, second full paragraph on page 00:44:34 Anthony: Take a person like George Bailey (It's a Wonderful Life). A person can really be driven to distraction and become blinded to God's Providence. 00:45:53 Thomas: What does this look like in the world, not taking pains to provide for yourself separately, because in the prayer it says “ bless us o Lord and these Thy gifts” clearly to a hermit what they find and are given are the gifts of God but how can we know when we have exceeded what God has given us and are now taking pains to provide for ourselves 01:06:51 Erick Chastain: Is there a paradox of less tiredness after vigils, even? 01:09:59 Rick Visser: In the night "Rouse yourself and cry out! Holy, Holy, Holy are You O God." 01:11:37 Thomas: It feels like if we are able to remember death when we would think that we don't have time to sleep so we should pray before we die 01:15:17 Thomas: Wouldn't the story of Lazarus and the rich man come into play here 01:19:43 Vanessa Nunez: I can really relate to what we are talking about

Dr. Alvarez explains how this restorative-driven approach flips the traditional sequence by establishing anatomy and function before orthodontic treatment. The result: improved collaboration, reduced guesswork, and highly predictable outcomes for patients with severe wear and collapsed bites. Together, they discuss practical workflows—analog and digital—diagnostic frameworks from Robbins and Rouse's Global Diagnosis, and the critical role of airway-conscious planning in long-term success. Whether you're a GP, prosthodontist, or orthodontist, this conversation reframes how you think about sequencing, diagnosis, and comprehensive, minimally invasive care.
