Mike Green is the head men's basketball coach at Salem Community College in South Jersey. The 2024-25 season was his first full season at the head of the program, and he led the Mighty Oaks to a 26-8 record and the program's first ever appearance in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, where they earned a fifth-place finish. As a player, the Philadelphia native was a standout at Franklin Learning Center and played at Towson and Butler in college – helping Butler to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Courtney Mix Davis was a star women's basketball player at Villanova University who was enshrined into the Big 5 Hall of Fame in 2024. She was a key member of the Vilanova team that stunned UConn in the 2003 Big East Championship Game, snapping the Huskies 70-game winning streak. She was a 1,000-point scorer at Villanova and finished her career in the program's all-time top ten in rebounds, assists and steals.
