After a disappointing display on the road, Newcastle United are back at The Cathedral on the Hill as they take on Brighton in the Premier League at St James' Park. With Champions League qualification still in our hands, but Manchester United and Liverpool both breathing down our necks, it is a massive game for the magpies. An unusually subdued atmosphere at St James' Park as Newcastle United took on bottom of the Premier League Southampton. Another game of two halves, which resulted in us keeping our third place and Champions League spot, as well as almost resigning The Saints to relegation. In the end we scored 3, but Southampton gave us a scare, especially in the first half. However, Eddie Howe changed up the team at half time which saw a change in mentality, some top quality goals, and lots more to talk about!
