This is a special crossover episode with Made For Us, a podcast that explores the intersection of innovation and inclusion. On Made For Us, host Tosin Sulaiman speaks to founders, designers and business leaders who are thinking deeply and creatively about how to build better and more inclusive products. Tosin's guest on this episode is Maura Horton, CEO and founder of MagnaReady, an accessible fashion brand that enables millions of people with limited dexterity and mobility to dress independently. Maura developed the concept for MagnaReady after her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's and struggled to button his shirts. She invented and eventually patented a magnetic closure system that replaces buttons and has since licensed the technology to Fortune 500 Companies including PVH Corp, owner of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Maura also partnered with and advised Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive, the first mainstream brand to launch a children's adaptive apparel line. In this episode, Maura talks about: The state of the adaptive clothing market before MagnaReady How Maura got the inspiration to infuse magnets into her husband's shirts The challenges she faced in the design and manufacturing process Why Maura thinks the term 'adaptive' is unhelpful Learn more about MagnaReady at magnaready.com and @magnaready on Instagram. What does it actually cost to build wealth in Nigeria right now — when purchasing power is shrinking, the Naira is under pressure, and the standard financial advice was written for a completely different economy? In this episode of Founders Connect, Tosin Oladokun, founder of Money Africa and one of the continent's most trusted voices in financial literacy, sits down for a candid, wide-ranging conversation that is equal parts masterclass and personal testimony.Tosin reaches over 750,000 people across platforms. She is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, a Mandela Washington Fellow, and the winner of a $100,000 NSIA Prize for Innovation. Jack Ma named her one of Africa's top business heroes. But this conversation is not about the accolades. It is about what she has learned — and had to unlearn — in seven years of building, and what she wants every Nigerian listening to walk away knowing. She starts where most financial conversations refuse to: the mindset. By the age of seven, a child's beliefs about money are already set. That is why people in their 30s and 40s are still trying to unlearn patterns they never chose. Tosin breaks down why 80% of the personal finance journey is psychological — and why she recommends therapy as a genuine asset class, not a luxury. She also introduces the concept of the mastermind group and why the most successful people you know did not build their networks by accident. Then she gets into the frameworks. She walks through the four CNBC-researched paths to wealth — saver-investors, dreamers, climbers, and the exceptional 1% — and explains why the most guaranteed path is one that most people dismiss. She gives the actual numbers: $50 a month from your 20s at 10% per annum compounds to a million dollars by retirement. Investing 20,000 Naira a month does the same in Naira terms — which is also exactly why she insists that every Nigerian must hold a portion of their investments in USD.She breaks down the S&P 500 in plain language — what it is, how it works, why a cocktail of 500 companies across sectors is the safest starting point for most investors — and explains the single biggest mistake she sees people make with it: selling too early. She talks about the portfolio that performs best according to research. The answer is dead people. Because they cannot touch their investments. The conversation gets personal when she talks about the health challenge she stepped away from work to address — something most people on the outside never saw. She speaks about what it taught her about delegation, about trust, about putting yourself first as an entrepreneur. She also gets brutally honest about the funding gap for women in business, and reveals that in 2023 alone, her team applied to 116 opportunities and heard back from six. Her response was not to wait for the table to be set. It was to build her own funding pipeline. She talks about when not to invest — the season of life when building your skill matters more than saving. She gives practical advice on managing debt alongside investing, the 50-30-20 rule and why it breaks down in an inflationary Nigerian economy, and why gradual habit change always beats going cold turkey. She also settles the real estate versus S&P 500 debate — with a clear answer for first-time investors. And she closes with the one thing she wants every young Nigerian to remember: optimism is a financial asset. Not blind optimism. Deliberate, working, delusional-where-necessary optimism — because the mind that believes it can find the opportunity will find it.This is one of the most practically useful money conversations we have ever had on Founders Connect. Whether you are just starting out, rebuilding, or trying to figure out what to do next — this one is for you.

Big stream or big screen? This week, Tosin Ajayi and Shaun Harris fly solo as Sharon enjoys a getaway in Dorset and Holly explores the culture of London. The duo settles in to decide if your hard-earned money is better spent at the cinema or in the comfort of your own home.Lee Cronin's The Mummy: Tosin dives into this Blumhouse production, which swaps desert adventures for a harrowing psychological horror story in Cairo and New Mexico. While praising the performances of Jack Reynor and the child actors, Tosin finds the film's two-hour runtime a bit bloated. Rating: 3/5 Stars40th Anniversary Re-release of Akira: Shaun witnesses the legendary 1988 anime on the big screen for the first time. He finds the first hour of neo-Tokyo biker gang warfare and military experimentation gripping, though he admits the final act gets a bit "slow and weird." Rating: 3/5 StarsEagles Over London (Amazon Prime): Shaun revisits this 1969 "Macaroni War" film (the Italian war movie equivalent of a Spaghetti Western). He enjoys the D-Day sabotage plot and the classic 1960s use of split-screen, despite the technically inaccurate period equipment. Rating: 3/5 StarsCaptive Audience (BBC iPlayer): Tosin explores this three-part true-crime documentary about the 1972 disappearance and miraculous return of Steven Stayner. While the first two episodes are riveting, Tosin feels the final installment falls into the trap of sensationalism. Rating: 3/5 StarsWith every review landing a solid average, Tosin and Shaun declare this week a dead tie between the cinema and the streaming platforms.Next Week: The team prepares for the highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic!Join the Conversation!Think we're crazy for giving Akira only three stars? Is it the big screen or the big stream? This week on the podcast, the crew battles through a dry spell at the cinema to help you decide if you should spend your money at the theater or stay entertained on your sofa for less than the price of a ticket. Before diving into the reviews, the team gets personal. Host Tosin Ajayi, based in Bromsgrove, is joined by Shaun Harris (nicknamed Bugman) and Sharon Bollen from the Isle of Wight, along with London correspondent Holly Nessling. The conversation dives into the origins of their various nicknames:Tosin reveals that friends from Nigeria used to call him "T.C." for "Top Cat," but he hates being called "Tossing." Shaun discusses his many monikers, including "Harry" and "Chopper Harris." Sharon drops a bombshell: her first name is actually Sarah, but she hasn't used it since a brief, "weird" period in her early 20s because her parents thought she looked more like a "Holly" (her middle name) when she was born. Tosin takes one for the team to represent the cinema this week, but he isn't pulling any punches. The Verdict: A "corporate cardboard" travesty that earns a measly 1.5 stars. The Critique: Despite the success of the first film, Tosin argues this sequel goes backward with a jumbled plot that feels like a series of disconnected video game references. The Highlight: The only joy comes from brief snippets of original game music, though they are quickly forgotten. Who is it for?: Parents who need 90 minutes of "bright things" to distract their kids while they take a nap. With the cinema offering little else, the team turns to the digital world:Nightmare City (Amazon Prime): Shaun revisits this 1980 Italian cult classic, noted by Quentin Tarantino as an inspiration for Planet Terror. Featuring "infected" people who run and use tools rather than traditional zombies, the film is praised for its story despite "ropey" effects and bad dubbing. It earns a solid 3 stars. Thrash (Netflix): Sharon and Holly dive into their shared love for shark movies. Set in Florida during a Category 5 hurricane, the film features bull sharks, a Great White named Nelly, and a meat-packing truck spill that turns the floodwaters into "chum." It's described as "not good, but enjoyable," landing at 2.75 stars. Between a disappointing Mario sequel and a lack of other new theatrical releases, Netflix and Friends take the crown this week. Happy Easter from the NVC crew! After a two-week break, host Tosin is back with Shaun Harris and Holly Nessling to dissect a mountain of new releases. From "food porn" gastro-dramas to chaotic ballet slashers, we're helping you decide where to spend your post-holiday cash. On the Big Screen The cinema picks this week range from star-studded dramas to "marmite" sci-fi: Spiltsville undertone The Drama: Zendaya and Robert Pattinson star in this buzzing A24 flick. The crew dives into the "star power" dynamic and debates whether the central conflict is a high-stakes dilemma or just "rich people problems." The Mario Galaxy Movie: Tosin takes the kids to a free screening and... let's just say he's not a fan. We discuss why this billion-dollar hit might be "worse than the first." On the Stream Last One Laughing Season 2 (Amazon Prime): Shaun breaks down the latest battle of the comedians. We talk about Bob Mortimer's masterful return and why Diane Morgan is the queen of the "deadpan." Inside Man (BBC/Streaming): Holly reviews the Stanley Tucci and David Tennant thriller. Is it a masterclass in tension or just too much "madness"? Pretty Lethal: A "madcap" ballet-dancer-meets-Hungarian-gangster movie. Think John Wick with point shoes and razor blades. The Verdict In a decisive win for the home viewers, Streaming takes the week with an average score of 3.6 compared to the 3.1 of the big screen. Enjoying the show? Welcome back to the podcast where we put the biggest theatrical releases up against the best of home streaming. This week, the full crew—host Tosin, Shaun Harris, Sharon Bollen, and Holly Nessling—are back together and facing a major cinematic disagreement that might just tear the show apart. On the Big Screen The crew heads to the cinema to experience what is arguably the biggest film of the week, but not everyone is on board: Project Hail Mary: Based on the novel by Andy Weir, this Ryan Gosling-led space epic has caused a massive "schism" on the podcast. Tosin and Sharon are all-in on this emotional and visually immersive journey, praising its dual performance and "transcendent" quality. Shaun, however, found it "pretentious" and "sickly." We dive deep into the science, the relationship between Grace and Rocky, and why this is a must-see on an IMAX screen. Ready or Not Here I Come: The follow-up to the 2019 cult hit. While it might not have the surprise factor of the original, the crew discusses how it holds its own and why Samara Weaving continues to dominate the genre. They Will Kill You: A chaotic, "Gonzo" secret screening set in a nine-story Gothic hotel. Think Black Snake Moan meets Deadpool with a healthy dose of cartoonish violence and a cast drawn from "out-there" fields. On the Stream Scarpetta (Amazon Prime): A star-studded adaptation of the Patricia Cornwell novels. Despite a cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Bobby Cannavale, Holly and Tosin find the series a bit "meh." We discuss the "timey-wimey" plot, the odd inclusion of AI, and that frustrating cliffhanger ending. The Tower Season 1 (ITVX): Badlands: Road to Fury: Shaun digs up this 2014 gem (originally titled Young Ones ). We discuss the sneaky retitling by Amazon and its slow-burn, futuristic Western vibes. A Fond Farewell The crew takes a moment to pay tribute to the late Chuck Norris. From Walker, Texas Ranger to the iconic internet memes, we remember a legend who was a massive part of our cinematic childhoods. The Verdict In one of our closest races yet, Cinema narrowly edges out the streaming platforms with a score of 3.34 to 2.91. It seems the big-screen experience (and a talking alien spider) was enough to take the win! Welcome back to another episode of Netflix vs. Cinema, where we help you decide if your hard-earned cash belongs in the movie theater or stays at home on the couch. This week, host Tosin is joined by Shaun Harris , Sharon Bollen , and Holly Nessling to catch up on the latest releases and the fallout from a major awards night. On the Big Screen The crew heads to the cinema for a mixed bag of thrills and satire: How to Make a Killing : Glenn Powell and Margaret Qualley star in this remake of the 1940s classic Kind Hearts and Coronets . The crew debates the film's pacing and predictability. Good Boy (a.k.a. HEEL) : Shaun dives into a secret screening of this bizarre thriller about an attempt to "rehabilitate" a wayward young man. It features extreme character work from Stephen Graham. Hoppers : Tosin catches up with Pixar's latest—a "mental" adventure involving a robot beaver, a shark, and a voice cameo from Meryl Streep. On the Stream Fallout Season 2 (Amazon Prime) : Shaun reports back on the latest journey through the wasteland. We discuss the retro-futuristic aesthetic, the war between factions in Vegas, and why a specific "Elvis" episode had us in hysterics. The War Machine (Netflix) : Sharon dives into the newest Alan Ritchson vehicle—a "muscular" action flick that feels like Jack Reacher vs. Aliens . Wonderman (Disney+): The Oscar Rundown The crew vents their frustrations over the recent Oscar wins. While One Battle After Another took home Best Picture, the team remains firmly in the corner of the "objective genius" of Sinners. Plus, we celebrate wins for Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, and Amy Madigan. Ready for more? Follow us on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube at @NetflixVsCinema to join the conversation! Is Netflix killing cinemas? Welcome back to the podcast where we pit the big screen against the home stream! This week, the full crew is back together as host Tosin is joined by Shaun Harris (returning from his Far East adventures), Sharon Ballon, and Holly Nessling. We dive deep into a jam-packed week of reviews, covering everything from meta-slasher franchises to the cozy world of British micro-brewing. What's on the Menu? In the Cinema Scream 7: Neve Campbell returns to the fold. Is it a masterclass in jump scares or just absolute nonsense? The crew discusses the meta-commentary, the casting drama, and whether the franchise still has legs. The Bride: A chaotic, experimental take on the Frankenstein mythos set in 1930s Chicago. We explore Jessie Buckley's incredible performance and the film's "food-porn" aesthetic. Mothers' Pride: A "plucky underdog" story about a young musician who returns home to save his family's struggling pub by brewing the perfect Somerset ale. On the Stream A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (HBO/Max): A more grounded, "earthy" return to Westeros. We discuss how this smaller-scale Game of Thrones prequel stacks up against its predecessors. Dracula: A Love Story: Luc Besson's latest offering. Is it a historical masterpiece or just "thoroughly ridiculous"? The Taste of Things: A French gastronomic delight starring Juliette Binoche that might just be too slow for its own good. The Verdict It was a tight race this week, but with a massive 4.25-star rating for The Bride, the Cinema takes the win by a narrow margin over the streaming platforms. > "Scream 7 follows the classic pathway of all slasher films... lots of people getting stabbed, and the meta-commentary is as sharp as ever." — Holly Nessling Is Netflix killing cinemas? Chelsea stumbled past Wrexham 4-2 in an FA Cup display that was far more uncomfortable than the scoreline suggests, with a heavily rotated side looking disjointed, leaky at the back, and nowhere near the clinical edge of the Villa performance. Four goals should mean smiles. It does not.Simon is back solo and in full rant mode, tearing into a defensive performance that had no business being that sloppy against Championship opposition. Tosin and Benoit Badiashile were the particular targets of Simon's fury — two players who had every opportunity to make a case for selection and instead raised serious questions about the depth of this squad when the first team is rested. The silver lining? Port Vale await in the next round, and with a kind draw presenting Chelsea with arguably their best route to silverware this season, Simon asks whether this squad has the focus and consistency to take that opportunity seriously. A trophy is there for the taking — if Chelsea can be bothered to show up properly. But the FA Cup conversation quickly takes a backseat to the biggest game on the horizon — Chelsea vs PSG in the Champions League. Simon previews what promises to be an electric European night and asks the question every Blue is thinking: can Chelsea channel the spirit of the Club World Cup final and deliver a performance to remember against the French giants?
This episode of Netflix vs. Cinema tackle the big question: should you splurge for the big screen or save your pennies for the big stream? Hosts Tosin Ajayi, Sharon Bollen, and London correspondent Holly Nesling review a packed lineup of high-stakes thrillers, groundbreaking documentaries, and fan-favorite period dramas to help you decide where your money is best spent. In the Cinema Crime 101: Tosin reviews the latest heist thriller starring Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo. He breaks down why this is Hemsworth's best performance yet, shifting away from his "superhero" persona into a meticulously planned high-class thief. Cold Storage: Sharon takes us into a "throwback" sci-fi romo that pits Liam Neeson against a deadly prehistoric fungus. From Skylab crashes to quarantine chaos, find out why this fun "romp" earned a high rating. On the Streaming Platforms Mr. Nobody Against Putin (BBC iPlayer): A powerful must-watch. The team discusses this Storyville documentary filmed secretly by a Russian teacher, documenting the chilling militarization of schools following the invasion of Ukraine. Bridgerton Season 4 (Netflix): Holly dives into the latest romance in the ton. The trio discusses the "Cinderella-esque" arc of Benedict Bridgerton and whether the show's shift from "smutty" to storytelling is an improvement. Inside the Industry The team also dives into the fallout from the BAFTAs, discussing the controversy of John Davidson's Tourette's powered racial slur directed at Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo. They also address recent viral feedback from their TikTok channel, debating the marketing genius of Emerald Fennell and the intersection of "bad spelling and online abuse." This Week's Verdict: Netflix takes the crown in a high-quality week where "nothing was crap," thanks largely to the emotional impact of Mr. Nobody Against Putin. Is Netflix killing cinemas? The gang is back and ready to rumble! This week on Netflix vs. Cinema,Tosin, Sharon, and Holly host. While Shaun is away in Japan, the team wastes no time diving into the most anticipated—and controversial—release of the year: Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights. In this episode, we break down why this modern adaptation is causing a literary firestorm. From the "Mills & Boon" aesthetic to the aging up of teenage protagonists, we discuss whether this version captures the true spirit of the Brontë classic or if it's just a "toxic mess of misery" designed to win Oscars. In the Cinema: Wuthering Heights (2026): Is it an erotic masterpiece or just an over-the-top melodrama with too much rain? We give our brutal ratings. The Day the Earth Blew Up: Tosin reviews the new fully-animated Looney Tunes film starring Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. Is the slapstick enough to sustain a 90-minute feature? On the Stream: Small Prophets (BBC iPlayer): Sharon raves about this quirky contemporary drama by MacKenzie Crook . Madam (Netflix): The team discusses the hilarious and empowering true story of an ethical brothel in New Zealand. Wuthering Heights (The Final Word): We discuss why a 6-hour TV mini-series might still be the best way to experience this story. Is Wuthering Heights a cinematic triumph or a literary crime? Join the debate in the comments on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook! Is Netflix killing cinemas? Each week we weigh up what we've seen in cinemas with what we've watched online at home and figure out which provided the best time. At least, we did before COVID jumped in and declared Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + and friends the winner. It wasn't pretty. At times it was barely watchable. But Chelsea won a football match, and right now that's all that matters. We break down a scrappy 2–0 win over Brentford that could very easily have gone the other way. Big saves from Sanchez, a moment of quality from João Pedro, a cold Palmer penalty, and a whole lot of hanging on in between. There's chat on Tosin, Palmer's fitness, going long from the back, and whether this is the start of learning how to win ugly again. Plus thoughts on January transfers, centre-back links, and what Chelsea actually need right now. Voicenotes on all that and more. _____________________________________ * Support the Show * Write us a 5 star review Follow the show on Instagram Share it with a fellow Chelsea fan _____________________________________ * Meet the Hosts * Chris Sheen and Joe Kevin are lifelong Chelsea fans who've been going to Stamford Bridge for over 30 years. On the Big Screen (Cinema Reviews):
Man Utd are a broken record, literally breaking records for all the wrong reasons. After their FA Cup exit, they're set to play just 40 games this season, the fewest in 111 years. This goes deeper than football. United lack leadership, accountability, and any sense of how to compete in the modern game.Tosin's had enough. Same problems, same excuses, no solutions. In this episode, he breaks down exactly where it all went wrong and why it keeps getting worse.Tap in.
The new era starts with a win. Liam Rosenior's first game in charge couldn't have gone much better. Rotated side, clear ideas, and Chelsea in control from the off - even if it was only Charlton. Early signs of intensity, structure, and players actually knowing what they're meant to be doing. We get into the fan protest and the Clearlake noise. Why it's happening, how it looks from the away end, and whether better communication could calm things down. Then it's all eyes on Arsenal. Back three or back four? Who actually plays? And how Rosenior can set Chelsea up to get a result in his first big test. Tosin and Coach round up the group stage of the Total Energies AFCON 2025 and then look ahead to the Round of 16 including South Africa vs Cameroon, Algeria vs DR Congo and Nigeria vs Mozambique
Man Utd closed out 2024 exactly how they started it: absolutely pathetic. The worst team in the Premier League, Wolves, walked into Old Trafford and looked right at home. They grabbed their first point since October 5th, and it came against us. At Old Trafford. Let that sink in.Tosin is completely done with Ruben Amorim's stubborn tactics and the fans still making excuses for this mess. Three wins in the last ten games. Academy kids thrown on as scapegoats while the system keeps failing. Even Matheus Cunha, who's been struggling all season, looked comfortable cutting through our defense. This isn't just frustrating anymore. This is a crisis. The results speak for themselves, and something has to change because this can't continue.Tap in for another painful breakdown of what's going wrong at Manchester United.

In this week's episode, I'm joined by creative entrepreneur, writer and past client, Tosin Hunter, for a deeply honest conversation about navigating the messy middle of career change, making an intentional pause, and rebuilding a life and career that genuinely aligns with your values.Tosin spent over a decade in corporate recruitment roles at organisations like EY, UBS and Salesforce — climbing the ladder, getting promoted (even while on maternity leave), and doing everything “right.” But behind the scenes, she was exhausted, burnt out, and increasingly disconnected from the work she was doing. In our coaching journey, she began unpacking what wasn't working, rediscovering her values, and reconnecting with parts of herself she'd buried for years. That inner work sparked a complete life shift. One that led her to leave corporate, honour her season of motherhood, rediscover her creativity, and eventually build Hunter Digital, the website design studio she now co-leads with her husband. If you're in the midst of questioning your career, craving more alignment, or feeling the nudge to pause and reassess, this conversation will resonate deeply.

From bottle service culture to brand activations, the economics of clubbing, and how social media has changed the entire game, nothing was left off the table. If you've ever wondered what it takes to thrive in Nigeria's nightlife industry (or just want to hear some wild behind-the-scenes gist
Man Utd and Tottenham had themselves a proper bozo-off, and honestly, no one was shocked.Casey Evans joined Tosin and Tomi to once again dig through Manchester United's endless pile of problems, try to figure out why Ruben Amorim seems allergic to using a midfield, and wonder what on earth is going on with Tottenham's home form.Man Utd keep doing the same things expecting different results, which is starting to feel less like football and more like performance art.But hey, silver lining, two weeks off to think about what they've done.Tap in!

Chelsea collapse in embarrassing fashion at Stamford Bridge, losing 2-1 at home to Sunderland in what can only be described as a disastrous result. Manny and Simon pull no punches as they break down a performance that lacked focus, composure, and quality. The hosts single out Josh Acheampong as the one shining light in an otherwise dreadful display, but slam Enzo Maresca for inexplicably taking him off when he was Chelsea's best player. They also criticize Tosin and Trevoh Chalobah, whose defensive errors led directly to Sunderland's winning goal. With emotions still raw, the lads turn the page and preview the upcoming Carabao Cup tie against Wolves, asking whether this team has the mentality to respond after one of the worst defeats of the season.
