The Town were condemned to a second successive relegation when they were beaten 5-3 in embarrassing fashion by West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Town fan Tom Watts to look back on a dreadful afternoon for the Hatters. The boys reflect on the 90 minutes which confirmed that Luton will be playing League 1 football next term, trying to find the answers for where it all went so badly wrong and how. The attention then turns to the season as a whole and the key issues which allowed a disastrous season to happen and then what needs to be done from here on in to ensure that this campaign doesn't get repeated. It was a busy weekend of football as Liverpool finally wrapped up the top flight title thanks to a crushing 5-1 win over Spurs at Anfield. Arne Slot's men are now tied with Manchester United on 20 top flight English titles as the rivalry continues. Elsewhere, Ipswich Town were relegated after defeat at Newcastle, but are they well set for a comeback next season? And finally, Crystal Palace shocked a poor Aston Villa side to reach the FA Cup final, where they'll meet Manchester City, who eased past Nottingham Forest on Sunday. FSD is back after the Easter break and there's a lot to discuss, with two new (or should that be old) names securing their top flight status for next season, as Burnley and Leeds secured promotion over the weekend. But with Leicester joining Southampton by dropping on Saturday, how do the Whites and the Clarets survive next season? Elsewhere, Manchester City recorded a huge last-gasp win over Aston Villa on Tuesday night, thanks to the much-maligned Matheus Nunes' 94th minute winner. Will they finish in the Champions League places after a bizarre season? Niall and Marley are on hand to discuss all that and more, including the confirmation that we will see a South coast derby next season, partly thanks to Mr and Mrs Murphy having a fumble 30 years ago... Lidl Ireland and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) are gearing up for an action-packed weekend of National Football League Finals across all four divisions, with Armagh, Kerry, Cork and Galway all battling it out at Croke Park, while Cavan, Wexford, Antrim and Fermanagh will target silverware in Drogheda and Clones. The scene is set for four intriguing ties – as captains and representatives from the eight competing teams gathered in Dublin today ahead of the weekend fixtures. The Divisions 1 and 2 Finals will form an exciting double-header at Croke Park next Saturday, April 12, with the Divisions 3 and 4 Finals to be contested next Sunday, April 13, in Drogheda and Clones respectively. In the Division 2 Final, which will precede the Division 1 showpiece, Cork and Galway will battle it out for silverware after claiming promotion. Relegated from Division 1 in 2024, Cork and Galway have bounced back to the top tier at the first attempt, and will now look to put the icing on a sweet-tasting Lidl National League cake by landing the trophy on offer. Armagh, Kerry, Cork and Galway were also the 2024 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-finalists, proof positive that all four teams have carried last year's encouraging form into the 2025 season. So, will Kerry gain revenge on Armagh after losing last year's Lidl NFL Division 1 Final, and move ahead of Cork in the all-time roll of honour with a 13th Division 1 title? Or will Armagh get the better of the Kingdom again at Croke Park to claim their second crown? All will be revealed, as Galway target a first Division 2 title win since 2014, while Cork eye second tier glory for the first time since 2003. Galway captain Katie Geraghty was in attendance at the LIDL National League Finals media day and she spoke to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly. ==

Recent news of the recovery of R670-million by the liquidators of VBS Mutual Bank brought relief that verified creditors will be reimbursed monies deposited to the institution before it collapsed in 2018. The good news has however turned sour for individual depositors who have now learnt that they have been put at the back of the queue and may have wait a lot longer to recover their money. Many have been left wondering why municipalities, whose financial and political bosses corruptly deposited funds into the now defunct Limpopo based bank, will be first to be paid out while genuine depositors have been relegated to the back of the line. Matt Crawford speaks with author John Oller about his book, Gangster Hunters: How Hoover's G-men Vanquished America's Deadliest Public Enemies. J. Edgar Hoover was the face of the FBI. But the federal agents in the field, relentlessly chasing the most notorious gangsters of the 1930s with their own lives on the line, truly transformed the Bureau. In 1932, the FBI lacked jurisdiction over murder cases, bank robberies, and kidnappings. Relegated to the sidelines, agents spent their days at their desks. But all of that changed during the War on Crime. Hunting down infamous public enemies in tense, frequently blood-soaked shootouts, the Bureau was thrust onto the front pages for the first time. Young agents, fresh out of law school and anticipating a quiet, white-collar job, faced off with murderous felons who were heavily armed, clad in bulletproof vests, and owned cars that outraced the best vehicles the Bureau had. But the federal men were fiercely devoted—to the Bureau, to each other, and to bringing America's most wanted criminals to justice. The G-men crisscrossed the United States in pursuit of John Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde, Ma Barker's criminal family, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd. But the green FBI agents were always one step behind and a moment too late, the criminals evading elaborate stakeouts and dramatic ambushes. Facing mounting criticism, with bodies left in their wake, the agents had to learn to adapt. After all, more than their reputations were at stake. Through incredible primary source research, John Oller transports readers right to the most harrowing and consequential raids of the 1930s, with fast-paced action that shows the lengths both sides would go to win.
