He focuses on personal injury cases involving bad faith against insurance companies, industrial injuries, product liability, toxic spills, drownings, accidents, and negligence by various entities, collecting hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients. David is also deeply involved in his community, providing free legal work, mentoring individuals suffering from addiction, and contributing to local charities, alongside his membership in several legal and advocacy organizations. David enjoys a reputation in the Bar as a relentless advocate who is unapologetically candid and direct in his communications. This week on the Collins & Lacy Legal Bench podcast, we are joined by President of the SC Nurses Association, Kelly Bouthillet, to discuss the impact in the nursing community from the recent announcement of the criminal conviction of former Tennessee Nurse, RaDonda Vaught. On March 25, 2022 Vaught was convicted on counts of gross neglect of an impaired adult and negligent homicide, tied back to a 2017 fatal drug error. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 13th.
