Anxiety isn't just “out there.” It's in all of us. In this message, Pastor Tim shows something most people miss, Jesus Himself experienced real anxiety, and He didn't hide it. He brought it to the Father, and He brought His friends close. If you've been carrying it alone, you don't have to anymore. The church is meant to be a place where burdens get shared and faith gets rebuilt. Key Scriptures: Matthew 26:36–46; Luke 22:39–46; Philippians 4:6–7; 1 Peter 5:7; Galatians 6:2; Hebrews 10:24–25 Next steps that help: 1. Join a class or study (build a steady rhythm of truth) 2. Serve (purpose and belonging fight isolation) 3. Give (generosity loosens anxiety's grip on control) Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. We desire to engage culture, uphold truth and love people. In a world where life can be heavy and confusing, we want to cover the hard truths - with grace. This is difficulty and messy - and so are we - but the love of Jesus meets us in our mess. Our rhythm is to gather to worship on Sunday and then scatter during the week to love, live and lead together. We are imperfect people moved by the perfect love of Jesus. Come as you are. Comparison doesn't just distract us; it crushes our soul. Scripture calls envy what it is; resentment that rots us from the inside out. Jesus invites us to a better way. What if slowing down isn't falling behind… but the very place Jesus wants to meet you? Hurry promises productivity but steals our soul. Remember that rest isn't a reward—it's a starting place. God designed us to rest with Him before we ever get to work. Jesus invites the weary, not the impressive. And in Him, we find real rest. “Come to me… and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) ✝️ Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. What if you succeeded at every goal this year—and still missed what mattered most? In Luke 18, Jesus shows us a better way forward. A way marked by dependence, persistence, and trust in a faithful Father. In this message, we talk about: • Why posture before God matters • How consistent practices shape real faith • Why God's faithfulness is the foundation for everything If you're stepping into a new year with hope, questions, or weariness—this message is for you.
All of us feel the pressure to perform — to create the perfect moment, the perfect gift, the perfect memory. But in 1 John 4, we see a better story. Love doesn't start with us; Love Moves because God moved toward us first. Love costs because Jesus paid the ultimate price. And love frees because perfect love casts out fear. If you've ever wondered what God's love really does in an everyday life like yours, this message is for you. Let's slow down, breathe deep, and remember the love that changes everything. ✝️ Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. Are we living in the last days? John says yes, but not how you might think. In 1 John 2, we're reminded that these days began when Jesus came and will end when He returns. The question isn't when the last days are, but how we live in them. In a world filled with fear, deception, and distraction, you don't have to be anxious; you can be anchored. Be aware of the battle, Be secure in Christ, Be with Jesus and abide in Him daily. Because in the end… Jesus wins. Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. Pastor Tim walks through 1 John 2:7–11, reminding us that the mark of truly knowing God isn't knowledge, it's love. From eternity past, God has been love. Jesus embodied that love and now empowers us to walk in it. When we love one another, we don't just reflect God, we drive out darkness.

God's very nature is light; He reveals truth, gives direction, and embodies perfect righteousness. In contrast, darkness represents distortion, deception, and the dominion of sin. We are often drawn to darkness, sometimes even mistaking it for light, because our hearts are so easily deceived. But when God's light shines, it exposes reality, brings hope, and dispels the power of darkness. Walking in the light means living honestly before God and others, refusing to pretend or hide, and instead confessing our sins so that we can be cleansed and restored. When we accept Jesus, we accept his church! True fellowship is more than being in the same room; it's a shared life rooted in Christ that can withstand the storms of life, grief, and cultural chaos. The church is not an optional add-on to faith; it is the very family of God, a package deal with Jesus Himself. We are called to love one another, to lock arms in mission, and to be a light in a fractured world. The invitation is open: take your next step, pursue the real Jesus, and experience the complete joy and unity that only He can give. At that moment, American Airlines Flight 77 slammed into the Pentagon just yards from the senator's desk. This past week, America marked 23 years since thousands of Americans were killed in a series of terrorist attacks in New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.. In our nation's capital, 184 people were murdered when hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon. Texas State Senator Brian Birdwell (R) was there on September 11th, 2001. He was an Army Lieutenant Colonel at the time and was nearly killed when the explosion knocked him to the ground and burned more than half of his body. Birdwell joined FOX News Rundown host Dave Anthony to share his story of survival. He detailed how he made it out of the Pentagon alive and how he wished for death on more than one occasion as he went through a long and painful recovery. Birdwell also discussed his faith and how he continues to honor the heroes of 9/11, as well as those who lost their lives. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. This week on the FOX News Rundown, we will share our entire unedited and sometimes graphic interview with 9/11 survivor Brian Birdwell. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The tensions were high in the first debate between former President Trump and Vice President Harris, as they attacked each other on their records and plans for the future of the nation. Despite muted mics being a part of the debate rules, there were numerous occasions that the candidates clashed, firing rebuttals as the moderators attempted to rein in the competitors. On numerous occasions the moderators fact checked the former President, as he went after the Vice President on abortion, the economy and crime. FOX News Radio's Josh Kraushaar and Jared Halpern joined the Rundown to analyze the winners and losers of last night's debate, if President Trump was able to define Vice President Harris to the American people, and what comes next in the campaign for the White House Today marks 23 years since thousands of Americans were killed in a series of terrorist attacks where terrorists hijacked four different commercial planes and crashed them in New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. 184 people were murdered when hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon.
