The concept of Adhiṭṭhāna and its significance in bringing resolution and determination to one's life. Christie discussed the importance of cultivating these qualities to their full strength and how Adhiṭṭhāna brings peace and resolve, allowing individuals to maintain their vows and determination without internal conflict. We also delved into the struggles with chronic dieting, the resistance to change, and the pursuit of core values, ultimately highlighting the importance of finding peace with oneself and circumstances. We concluded with a discussion on the transformative effects of setting and achieving goals and the potential for joy and fulfillment in pursuing and realizing one's aspirations. En la década de 1990, fue programadora voluntaria en KPFA, en Berkeley, donde produjo y condujo programas sobre temas de la mujer, drama y literatura. Robert Pinsky is the author of numerous books of poetry, including the Pulitzer Prize finalist The Figured Wheel, and prose, including The Sounds of Poetry. He served as United States Poet Laureate from 1997 to 2000, during which time he founded the Favorite Poem Project. He has edited several anthologies, most recently The Book of Poetry for Hard Times. His most recent book is his just-published memoir, Jersey Breaks. Nikita Parik holds a Master's in Linguistics, a three-year diploma in French, and another Master's in English.
